Abstract

Title of the Design: Smart Aerial Debris Containment CanopyGeneral Description of the DesignThe design represents a closed spherical Smart containment canopy, consisting of an external structure composed of two main sections connected from the rear side, where the structure is in an open configuration prior to the assembly of the two sections. These include: a reinforced upper structure providing stability and support, and a semi-transparent reinforced flexible lower structure designed to contain debris and prevent its dispersion, fall, or ignition during missile interception operations.Upon completion of the containment process, the two sections are automatically assembled to form a fully enclosed spherical structure dedicated to safe containment. After closure, the design enables internal content collection, reduction of temperature and prevention of ignition, as well as maintaining stability during gradual descent due to the aerodynamic spherical configuration.Formal Characteristics of the DesignThe design is characterized by a symmetrical spherical configuration that reflects both visual and structural balance. It features a reinforced upper section supported by longitudinal structural lines distributed evenly to enhance rigidity and emphasize the industrial character of the model. This is complemented by a semi-spherical lower section with a semi-transparent nature, allowing partial visual access to the internal chamber while preserving overall structural integrity. The upper and lower sections integrate seamlessly to form a fully enclosed unit with continuous aerodynamic lines, demonstrating clarity of geometric composition from all perspectives as illustrated in the drawings.Functional Use of the DesignThe design is intended for use as a containment and protection unit in aerial interception scenarios. The canopy automatically opens upon activation to immediately contain generated materials, then self-closes securely to form a sealed spherical enclosure that prevents leakage or dispersion, thereby reducing risks to people and property. The design also supports integration with tracking and monitoring systems to accurately determine the landing location, in addition to supporting safety-related systems associated with descent control and impact mitigation. It also serves to regulate and control the circulation of visual content, incorporating mechanisms to manage and organize the dissemination of visual materials related to the debris site, thereby limiting their uncontrolled spread. It further supports safety and security requirements at impact locations by controlling the level of information accessibility.Access to data and visual content is restricted exclusively to the competent official authorities.Features and Industrial DistinctionThe design features a reinforced external structure and clear engineering lines that reflect high durability and support operational efficiency, with a balanced distribution of components that enhances overall stability. It represents an advanced engineering solution that meets safety requirements and rapid response needs in handling risks associated with aerial debris.Overall Objective of the DesignThe objective of this design is to provide a safe and controlled containment solution for scattered materials, reducing associated risks and enhancing the protection of people and property through a closed and structurally balanced system.DESIGN : Smart Aerial Debris Containment CanopyDescription of the design drawings:      FIG .1        Perspective Front view.  FIG .2        Perspective back view.  FIG .3        Perspective bottom view.  FIG .4        Perspective top view.  FIG .5        Perspective front, side, and top FIG .6        Perspective Right view.  FIG .7        Perspective Left view.  FIG .8       Perspective front, side, and top view.

Description

General Description of the DesignThe industrial design relates to a smart containment canopy for aerial debris. It has a closed spherical configuration and comprises an outer structure formed of two principal sections connected at the rear. Prior to assembly, the two sections remain in an open position and consist of: a reinforced upper structure providing stability and support, and a reinforced, flexible, semi-transparent lower structure designed to contain the debris and prevent its dispersal, fall, or ignition during missile interception operations.Upon completion of the containment process, the two sections are brought together to form a fully enclosed spherical unit intended for the safe containment of the debris.Once closed, the design enables the collection and secure retention of the internal contents, reduces the temperature and prevents ignition, and provides stability during gradual descent by virtue of its streamlined spherical shape. DESIGN :smart containment canopy for aerial debris Description of the design drawings: FIG .1        Perspective Front view.  FIG .2        Perspective back view.  FIG .3        Perspective bottom view.  FIG .4        Perspective top view.  FIG .5        Perspective front, side, and top FIG .6        Perspective Right view.
