Tree Watering Pot

Abstract

 The design is a Tree Watering Pot for young trees that collects and holds water and then slowly releases it. The pot is partially embedded into the ground with the top portion surrounding the tree trunk. The disc like top portion collects water, either from rainfall or from a hose, which then passes into the lower storage vessel. Part of the lower portion is formed from porous material that allows the water to slowly seep into the surrounding soil.
