[0008] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the present specification, "depth direction" refers to a direction along an indoor-outdoor direction in the fitting. "In-plane direction" refers to a direction along a surface direction of the glass (face panel) in the fitting, and is a direction orthogonal to the depth direction."In-plane surface" means each of the surfaces facing the outdoor side and the indoor side in the fitting, and "depth surface" means a surface extending in the indoor-outdoor direction in the fitting. In the drawings, the outdoor side of the fitting is referred to as "outdoor side X1", and the indoor side of the fitting is referred to as "indoor side X2". A horizontal direction when the fitting is viewed from the front is referred to as "left-right".

[0009] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4, the fitting 1 illustrated in the first embodiment is configured by accommodating a frame 2 attached to an opening 11 of a building frame (see FIG. 1), and two sashes, namely a fixed sash 3 (sash) disposed on the outdoor side X1 on one side in the left-right direction (the left side in FIGS. 1 and 2) within the frame 2, and a sliding sash 4 (sash) disposed on the indoor side X2 on the other side in the left-right direction (the right side in FIGS. 1 and 2) within the frame 2. The fixed sash 3 is fixed to the one side in the left-right direction (the left side in FIGS. 1 and 2) within the frame 2, and is also referred to as a fixed sash. The sliding sash 4 is disposed on the other side in the left-right direction (the right side in FIGS. 1 and 2) within the frame 2 in a case of being positioned at a closed position, and is slidable within the frame 2 in the left-right direction (horizontal direction).

[0010] The fitting 1 of the present embodiment is a fitting disposed at the opening 11 of the building frame. In the present embodiment, the opening 11 is formed as a large opening. For example, in the present embodiment, the opening 11 being a large opening assumes an opening having a height H of 2500 mm or more. The opening 11 of the present embodiment is formed with an opening size such as the height H of approximately 3500 mm and a width W of approximately 5000 mm. The sliding sash 4 is configured with, for example, the height H of 3500 mm and the width W of 2500 mm.

[0011] In a case in which the opening 11 is a large opening, when the fitting is disposed at the opening 11, the weight of the sash of the fitting increases, and accordingly a burden on the sash and on a roller provided on the sash increases. Therefore, a need arises to ensure the strength of the sash and the roller.

[0012] The frame 2 is accommodated in the opening 11 of the building frame. The frame 2 is configured by assembling an upper frame 21, a lower frame 22, and a pair of left and right vertical frames 23 and 24 into a rectangular frame shape.

[0013] As illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4, the upper frame 21 includes a wooden upper-frame member 211 and a metal frame member 215 disposed at an upper end of the wooden upper-frame member 211. The wooden upper-frame member 211 is formed in a rectangular shape in cross-sectional view extending in the depth direction, and extends in the left-right direction. An upper-frame outdoor-side guide groove 213 and an upper-frame indoor-side guide groove 214 are provided on a lower surface of the wooden upper-frame member 211.

[0014] As illustrated in FIG. 3, the upper-frame outdoor-side guide groove 213 is formed in a range in which the fixed sash 3 is disposed in the left-right direction on the outdoor side X1 of the upper frame 21. The upper-frame outdoor-side guide groove 213 is formed so as to be recessed upward from the lower surface of the wooden upper-frame member 211, and opens downward. An upwardly protruding plate 3152 formed at an upper end portion of the fixed sash 3 is disposed in the upper-frame outdoor-side guide groove 213.

[0015] As illustrated in FIG. 4, the upper-frame indoor-side guide groove 214 is formed over the entire region in the left-right direction, on the indoor side X2 with respect to a center of the upper frame 21 in the depth direction. The upper-frame indoor-side guide groove 214 is formed so as to be recessed upward from the lower surface of the wooden upper-frame member 211, and opens downward. An upwardly protruding plate 4152 formed at an upper end portion of the sliding sash 4 is disposed in the upper-frame indoor-side guide groove 214, and the upper-frame indoor-side guide groove 214 guides movement of the sliding sash 4 in the left-right direction.

The vertical-frame guide groove 244 guides movement of the sliding sash 4 in the left-right direction at a left-side end portion of the sliding sash 4 in the left-right direction.

[0032] Metal guide-groove frames 2341 and 2441 are disposed in the vertical-frame guide grooves 234 and 244. Airtight members 2342 and 2442 are attached to indoor-side plate members 2341a and 2441a, the indoor-side plate members 2341a and 2441a being disposed along respective surfaces, on the indoor side X2, of the vertical-frame guide grooves 234 and 244 of the guide-groove frames 2341 and 2441. In the vertical-frame guide groove 234, the outer protruding plate 3352 formed at the left-side end portion in the left-right direction of the fixed sash 3 is disposed in a state of being in contact with the airtight member 2342. In the vertical-frame guide groove 244, the outer protruding plate 4452 formed at the right-side end portion in the left-right direction of the sliding sash 4 is disposed in a state of being in contact with the airtight member 2442.

[0033] The metal frame members 235 and 245 are disposed along outer surfaces in the left-right direction of the wooden vertical-frame members 231 and 241. The metal frame members 235 and 245 are divided into two parts in the depth direction, namely outdoor-side frame members 2351 and 2451 and indoor-side frame members 2352 and 2452. The outdoor-side frame members 2351 and 2451 and the indoor-side frame members 2352 and 2452 are each formed of a metal material such as aluminum. Coupling members 2353 and 2453 (bridge members) are disposed between the outdoor-side frame members 2351 and 2451 and the indoor-side frame members 2352 and 2452. The coupling members 2353 and 2453 are formed of a member having heat insulating properties such as resin, and block heat transfer from the outdoor side X1 to the indoor side X2 in the metal frame members 235 and 245 of the vertical frames 23 and 24.

[0034] The fixed sash 3 will be described. As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3, the fixed sash 3 is configured by accommodating a glass 35 consisting of two plate glasses inside a stile-and-rail body 30 obtained by assembling, into a rectangular shape, a top rail 31, a bottom rail 32, a frame-side stile 33 disposed on the side of the vertical frame 23 on the left side, and a meeting stile 34 disposed on the side of the sliding sash 4. As illustrated in FIG. 3, the fixed sash 3 is fixed to one side in the left-right direction (the right side in FIGS. 1 and 2) within the frame 2 in a state in which an upper end portion of the fixed sash 3 is disposed in the upper-frame outdoor-side guide groove 213 of the upper frame 21 and a lower end portion of the fixed sash 3 is disposed on the upper surface on the outdoor side X1 of the lower frame 22.

[0035] The top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34 each constitute a glass holder configured to hold an end portion of the glass 35 in the in-plane direction.

[0036] The glass 35 is formed in a rectangular shape, has a thickness in the depth direction, and extends in the in-plane direction. The glass 35 is fitted into and fixed to the stile-and-rail body 30. As illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3, the glass 35 fitted into the stile-and-rail body 30 of the fixed sash 3 is a multilayer glass including a plate glass 35a on the indoor side X2, a plate glass 35b on the outdoor side X1, and a spacer 35c sandwiched between the two plate glasses 35a and 35b at end portions of the two plate glasses 35a and 35b, and has excellent heat insulating properties.

[0037] As illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3, the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34 are mainly configured with wooden stile-and-rail main bodies 311, 321, 331, and 341 (glass holder main bodies) and fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, and 343 provided inside the wooden stile-and-rail main bodies 311, 321, 331, and 341, respectively.

[0038] The fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, and 343 are disposed outside the end portions of the glass 35 in the in-plane direction, and are provided so as to cover the end portions of the glass 35 in the in-plane direction. The fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, and 343 are configured with fiber-reinforced plastic. The wooden stile-and-rail main bodies 311, 321, 331, and 341 are disposed around the fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, and 343. The wooden stile-and-rail main bodies 311, 321, 331, and 341 are configured with wood material (wooden). By providing the wooden stile-and-rail main bodies 311, 321, 331, and 341 so as to be exposed to the outside of the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34, an authentic feel of wood material such as the texture unique to wood material can be produced.

[0039] The top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34 are formed in a slim size having a narrow width in the in-plane direction. In the present embodiment, in the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34, portions exposed to the outside are the wooden stile-and-rail main bodies 311, 321, 331, and 341, and the width in the in-plane direction is formed at, for example, approximately 30 mm to 35 mm. When the width in the in-plane direction of the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34 exceeds 40 mm, an impression of being not slim tends to be produced, and when the width in the in-plane direction is narrower than 30 mm, an authentic feel of wood material such as the texture unique to wood material tends to be difficult to produce.

[0040] The fixed sash 3 is configured with stiles and rails of a composite structure in which the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34 include the wooden stile-and-rail main bodies 311, 321, 331, and 341, and the fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, and 343, respectively, configured with fiber-reinforced plastic. Accordingly, the fixed sash 3 has excellent heat insulating properties because the wooden stile-and-rail main bodies 311, 321, 331, and 341 and the fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, and 343 configured with fiber-reinforced plastic are made of materials having low thermal conductivity.

[0041] Examples of the fiber-reinforced plastic include a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP: Carbon Fiber-Reinforced Plastics) obtained by using carbon fiber as reinforcing fiber and impregnating and curing resin such as a thermosetting resin or a thermoplastic resin, and a glass-fiber-reinforced plastic (GFRP: Glass Fiber-Reinforced Plastics) including glass fiber as reinforcing fiber.

[0042] The carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic is formed by impregnating and curing resin such as a thermosetting resin or a thermoplastic resin in a state in which a plurality of fibers extending in a longitudinal direction of the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34 are bundled. By making a direction in which the plurality of fibers constituting the carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic extend coincide with the longitudinal direction of the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34, heat easily moves along the longitudinal direction of the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34, and heat is blocked in the depth direction, so that the heat insulating properties can be improved.

[0043] In a case in which the direction in which the plurality of fibers constituting the carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic extend coincides with the longitudinal direction of the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34, in order to reduce a possibility that breakage occurs along the direction of the fibers, a surface of the bundle of the plurality of fibers constituting the carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic may be covered with a fiber material having a different fiber direction (for example, a cloth such as a nonwoven fabric).

[0044] In the present embodiment, the direction in which the plurality of fibers constituting the carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic extend is configured so as to coincide with the longitudinal direction of the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34. However, the present embodiment is not limited to this configuration, and the direction may be configured not to coincide with the longitudinal direction of the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34. The plurality of fibers constituting the carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic do not have to extend through from end to end of the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34 in the longitudinal direction.

[0045] The carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic constituting the fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, and 343 has elastic strength equal to or higher than that of a glass plate. In the present specification, the elastic strength refers to a Young's modulus, and a Young's modulus of a glass plate is approximately 71600 MPa. Measurement of the Young's modulus can be performed in accordance with the provisions of either JIS K 7164 (isotropic and orthotropic fiber-reinforced plastics) or JIS K 7165 (unidirectional fiber-reinforced plastic composite materials), based on general rules prescribed in JIS K 7161.

[0046] In the glass holder configured to hold the end portion of the glass 35 in the in-plane direction, by disposing the fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, and 343 so as to cover the end portion of the glass 35 in the in-plane direction, strength to hold the glass 35 can be provided in the glass holders of the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, and the meeting stile 34, and the heat insulating properties can be ensured.

[0047] Details of the top rail 31 are further described. As illustrated in FIG. 5, the top rail 31 includes the wooden stile-and-rail main body 311 disposed at an upper end portion of the glass 35 in the in-plane direction, the fiber-reinforced core member 313 disposed inside the stile-and-rail main body 311, and a metal frame member 315 disposed at the upper end portion of the top rail 31.

[0048] The fiber-reinforced core member 313 is disposed so as to cover the upper end portion of the glass 35. [0083] Details of the meeting stile 34 are further described. As illustrated in FIG. 7, the meeting stile 34 includes a wooden stile-and-rail main body 341 disposed at a right-side (the other side in the in-plane direction) end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction and the fiber-reinforced core member 343 disposed inside the stile-and-rail main body 341.

[0084] The fiber-reinforced core member 343 is disposed so as to cover the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction. The fiber-reinforced core member 343 includes a core-member depth-direction extending plate 3431 (first portion) extending in the depth direction, an inward protruding portion 3432 (second portion) protruding toward the left side in the left-right direction on the indoor side X2 in the middle of the depth direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3431, an L-shaped inward protruding portion 3433 (second portion) protruding toward the left side in the left-right direction at an outdoor-side X1 end portion in the depth direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3431, an outward protruding plate 3434 (second portion) protruding toward the right side in the left-right direction from the outdoor-side X1 end portion in the depth direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3431, and a U-shaped U-shaped hook portion 3435 formed at an indoor-side X2 end portion in the depth direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3431.

[0085] The L-shaped inward protruding portion 3433 includes an inner-side extending plate 3433a (second portion) extending from the outdoor-side X1 end portion in the depth direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3431 toward the left side in the left-right direction (one side in the in-plane direction), and a protruding plate 3433b protruding from a left-side end portion in the left-right direction of the inner-side extending plate 3433a toward the inner side in the depth direction (the indoor side X2) of the glass 35.

[0086] A U-shaped U-shape portion 346 opening toward the right side in the left-right direction, the U-shape portion 346 being formed by the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3431, the inward protruding portion 3432, and the inner-side extending plate 3433a of the L-shaped inward protruding portion 3433 of the fiber-reinforced core member 343, is disposed so as to cover the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction, and covers an indoor-side X2 surface, an outdoor-side X1 surface, and a depth surface of the right-side end portion in the left-right direction of the right-side end portion of the glass 35.

[0087] By disposing the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction so as to be covered by the U-shape portion 346, the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction is disposed between the inward protruding portion 3432 and the L-shaped inward protruding portion 3433 in the depth direction in the left-right direction in a state in which an end surface (depth surface) of the right-side end portion in the left-right direction extending in the depth direction is disposed on a left-side surface in the left-right direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3431.

[0088] The inward protruding portion 3432 and the L-shaped inward protruding portion 3433 are disposed along the indoor-side X2 in-plane surface and the outdoor-side X1 in-plane surface at the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction. Therefore, the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction can be supported in a state in which the inward protruding portion 3432 and the L-shaped inward protruding portion 3433 are along the indoor-side X2 in-plane surface and the outdoor-side X1 in-plane surface at the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction.

[0089] The U-shaped hook portion 3435 is formed in a U shape opening toward the left side in the left-right direction at the indoor-side X2 end portion of the meeting stile 34. The U-shaped hook portion 3435 is hooked to a U-shaped hook portion 4435 (described later) of a meeting stile 44 of the sliding sash 4 in a case in which the sliding sash 4 is positioned at the closed position.

[0090] The wooden stile-and-rail main body 341 is disposed so as to cover the fiber-reinforced core member 343 around the fiber-reinforced core member 343. The wooden stile-and-rail main body 341 includes a surrounding member 3411 disposed so as to surround a right-side portion in the left-right direction and an outdoor-side X1 end-portion side portion of the fiber-reinforced core member 343, and an indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 3412 disposed on the left side in the left-right direction at an indoor-side X2 end-portion side of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3431 of the fiber-reinforced core member 343. The surrounding member 3411 and the indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 3412 are configured with wooden members (wood material). The surrounding member 3411 and the indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 3412 may all be configured as separate bodies, or may all be configured integrally, or the surrounding member 3411 and the indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 3412 may be configured by being divided in the middle.

[0091] The surrounding member 3411 includes a depth-direction extending portion 3411a extending in the depth direction, an in-plane-direction inward extending portion 3411b extending from an outdoor-side X1 end portion of the depth-direction extending portion 3411a toward the left side in the left-right direction, and an indoor-side extending portion 3411c extending from a left-side end portion in the left-right direction of the in-plane-direction inward extending portion 3411b toward the indoor side X2.

[0092] The depth-direction extending portion 3411a extends in the depth direction along right-side surfaces in the left-right direction of the U-shaped hook portion 3435, the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3431, and the outward protruding plate 3434 of the fiber-reinforced core member 343, so as to cover a right-side surface in the left-right direction of the U-shaped hook portion 3435, a right-side surface in the left-right direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3431, and a right-side surface in the left-right direction of the outward protruding plate 3434 of the fiber-reinforced core member 343. The in-plane-direction inward extending portion 3411b extends in the in-plane direction along an outdoor-side X1 surface of the outward protruding plate 3434 of the fiber-reinforced core member 343 and an outdoor-side X1 surface of the inner-side extending plate 3432a of the L-shaped inward protruding portion 3433, so as to cover the outdoor-side X1 surface of the outward protruding plate 3434 of the fiber-reinforced core member 343 and the outdoor-side X1 surface of the inner-side extending plate 3432a of the L-shaped inward protruding portion 3433. The indoor-side extending portion 3411c extends along a left-side surface in the left-right direction of the protruding plate 3432b of the L-shaped inward protruding portion 3433 of the fiber-reinforced core member 343, so as to cover the left-side surface in the left-right direction of the protruding plate 3432b of the L-shaped inward protruding portion 3433 of the fiber-reinforced core member 343.

[0093] The indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 3412 is disposed on the left side in the left-right direction at the indoor-side X2 end-portion side of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3431 of the fiber-reinforced core member 343.

[0094] In a state in which the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction is disposed so as to be covered by the U-shape portion 346, on the indoor side X2 of the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction on an open side of the U-shape portion 346, a sealing member 347 is disposed between an indoor-side X2 in-plane surface of the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction and an outdoor-side X1 surface of a distal end side of the inward protruding portion 3432 of the fiber-reinforced core member 343 and an outdoor-side X1 surface of the indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 3412 of the stile-and-rail main body 341, and at a closed-side portion of the U-shape portion 346, a backup member 348 is disposed between the sealing member 347 and a left-side surface in the left-right direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3431 of the fiber-reinforced core member 343. On the outdoor side X1 of the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction at the open-side portion of the U-shape portion 346, a sealing member 347 is disposed between an outdoor-side X1 in-plane surface of the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction and an indoor-side X2 surface of the protruding plate 3433b of the L-shaped inward protruding portion 3433 of the fiber-reinforced core member 343 and an indoor-side X2 surface of the indoor-side extending portion 3411c of the surrounding member 3411, and at the closed-side portion of the U-shape portion 346, a backup member 348 is disposed between the sealing member 347 and the left-side surface in the left-right direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3431 of the fiber-reinforced core member 343. As the sealing member 347, a glazing channel may be used.

[0095] The sliding sash 4 will be described. As illustrated in FIGS. 1, 2, and 4, the sliding sash 4 is configured by accommodating a glass 45 consisting of two glasses inside a stile-and-rail body 40 obtained by assembling, into a rectangular shape, a top rail 41, a bottom rail 42, a frame-side stile 43 disposed on the side of the vertical frame 24 on the right side of the frame 2, and a meeting stile 44 (vertical member) disposed on the side of the fixed sash 3. An upper end portion of the sliding sash 4 is disposed in the upper-frame indoor-side guide groove 214 of the upper frame 21, and a lower end portion of the sliding sash 4 is engaged with the pair of lower-frame slide rails 223 and 224 of the lower frame 22 so as to be movable in the left-right direction. A roller 5 that rolls on the pair of lower-frame slide rails 223 and 224 of the lower frame 22 is provided on the bottom rail 42 of the sliding sash 4.

[0096] The top rail 41, the bottom rail 42, the frame-side stile 43, and the meeting stile 44 each constitute a glass holder configured to hold an end portion of the glass 45 in the in-plane direction.

[0097] The glass 45 is formed in a rectangular shape, has a thickness in the depth direction, and extends in the in-plane direction. The glass 45 is fitted into and fixed to the stile-and-rail body 40. As illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 4, the glass 45 fitted into the stile-and-rail body 40 of the sliding sash 4 is a multilayer glass including a plate glass 45a on the indoor side X2, a plate glass 45b on the outdoor side X1, and a spacer 45c sandwiched between the two plate glasses 45a and 45b at end portions of the two plate glasses 45a and 45b, and has excellent heat insulating properties.

[0098] As illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 4, the top rail 41, the bottom rail 42, the frame-side stile 43, and the meeting stile 44 are mainly configured with wooden stile-and-rail main bodies 411, 421, 431, and 441 (glass holder main bodies) and fiber-reinforced core members 413, 423, 433, and 443 provided inside the stile-and-rail main bodies 411, 421, 431, and441 respectively.

[0099] The fiber-reinforced core members 413, 423, 433, and 443 are disposed outside the end portions of the glass 45 in the in-plane direction, and are provided so as to cover the end portions of the glass 45 in the in-plane direction. The fiber-reinforced core members 413, 423, 433, and 443 are configured with fiber-reinforced plastic. The stile-and-rail main bodies 411, 421, 431, and 441 are disposed around the fiber-reinforced core members 413, 423, 433, and 443. The wooden stile-and-rail main bodies 411, 421, 431, and 441 are configured with wood material.

[0100] The top rail 41, the bottom rail 42, the frame-side stile 43, and the meeting stile 44 are formed in a slim size having a narrow width in the in-plane direction. In the present embodiment, in the top rail 41, the bottom rail 42, the frame-side stile 43, and the meeting stile 44, portions exposed to the outside are the wooden stile-and-rail main bodies 411, 421, 431, and 441, and the width in the in-plane direction is formed at, for example, approximately 30 mm to 35 mm. When the width in the in-plane direction of the top rail 41, the bottom rail 42, the frame-side stile 43, and the meeting stile 44 exceeds 40 mm, an impression of being not slim tends to be produced, and when the width in the in-plane direction is narrower than 30 mm, an impression in which the authentic feel of wood material such as the texture unique to wood material is difficult to be produced is given.

[0101] The sliding sash 4 is configured with stiles and rails of a composite structure in which the top rail 41, the bottom rail 42, the frame-side stile 43, and the meeting stile 44 include the wooden stile-and-rail main bodies 411, 421, 431, and 441, and the fiber-reinforced core members 413, 423, 433, and 443, respectively, configured with fiber-reinforced plastic. Accordingly, the sliding sash 4 has excellent heat insulating properties because the wooden stile-and-rail main bodies 411, 421, 431, and 441 and the fiber-reinforced core members 413, 423, 433, and 443 configured with fiber-reinforced plastic are made of materials having low thermal conductivity.

[0102] As the fiber-reinforced plastic, fiber-reinforced plastic similar to the fiber-reinforced plastic described in connection with the top rail 41, the bottom rail 42, the frame-side stile 43, and the meeting stile 44 of the fixed sash 3 can be used.

[0103] In the glass holder configured to hold the end portion of the glass 45 in the in-plane direction, by disposing the fiber-reinforced core members 413, 423, 433, and 443 so as to cover the end portion of the glass 45 in the in-plane direction, strength to hold the glass 45 can be provided in the glass holders of the top rail 41, the bottom rail 42, the frame-side stile 43, and the meeting stile 44, and the heat insulating properties can be ensured.

[0104] Details of the top rail 41 are further described. As illustrated in FIG. 4, the top rail 41 includes the wooden stile-and-rail main body 411 disposed at an upper end portion of the glass 45 in the in-plane direction, the fiber-reinforced core member 413 disposed inside the stile-and-rail main body 411, and a metal frame member 415 disposed at the upper end portion of the top rail 41. Since the top rail 41 has a configuration similar to that of the top rail 31 of the fixed sash 3 illustrated in FIG. 5 described above, description of the top rail 41 is omitted by incorporating the description of the top rail 31 of the fixed sash 3 illustrated in FIG. 5 described above.

[0105] Details of the bottom rail 42 are further described. As illustrated in FIG. 8, the bottom rail 42 includes a wooden stile-and-rail main body 421 disposed at a lower end portion of the glass 45 in the in-plane direction, a fiber-reinforced core member 423 (strength member) disposed inside the stile-and-rail main body 421, and two rollers 5 disposed at a lower end portion of the bottom rail 42. As illustrated in FIG. 1, the two rollers 5 are provided at both end portions in the left-right direction at the lower end portion of the sliding sash 4.

[0106] In the bottom rail 42, the configuration mainly differs from the configuration of the bottom rail 32 of the fixed sash 3 described above in that the roller 5 is disposed below the fiber-reinforced core member 423. Therefore, regarding description of the bottom rail 42, the roller 5 is mainly described, and for a configuration similar to that of the bottom rail 32 of the fixed sash 3 illustrated in FIG. 5 described above, corresponding reference numerals are given and description is omitted, or description is omitted by incorporating the description of the bottom rail 32 of the fixed sash 3 illustrated in FIG. 5 described above.

[0107] As illustrated in FIG. 8, the roller 5 is disposed below the fiber-reinforced core member 423 disposed below the lower end portion of the glass 45. The roller 5 is disposed between a pair of outward extending portions 4233 in the depth direction on a lower surface of a core-member depth-direction extending plate 4231 (first portion) of the fiber-reinforced core member 423.

[0108] The core-member depth-direction extending plate 4231 includes a glass lower-end-portion disposition plate 4231a disposed in a range of the thickness of the glass 45 and a pair of outer-side extending plates 4231b (outer-side extending portions) extending from both end portions in the depth direction of the glass lower-end-portion disposition plate 4231a toward outer sides on the indoor side X2 and the outdoor side X1. The pair of outer-side extending plates 4231b is formed so as to extend toward outer sides in the depth direction (the indoor side X2 and the outdoor side X1) beyond the indoor-side X2 in-plane surface and the outdoor-side X1 in-plane surface of the glass 45 in a thickness direction at the lower end portion of the glass 45.

[0109] The roller 5 includes a wheel support frame 51 (reinforcing portion) and a two-row wheel configuration portion 52 configured by providing two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522 in the depth direction, the two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522 being arranged in a plurality of sets in the left-right direction. The two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522 are disposed at the lower end portion of the bottom rail 42 (glass holder) configured to hold the lower end portion of the glass 45. The two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522 are disposed below the fiber-reinforced core member 423. The fiber-reinforced core member 423 is disposed straddling the two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522 of the roller 5 disposed separately on the indoor side X2 and the outdoor side X1 in the depth direction, at an upper portion of the two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522. In the present embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 1, in the roller 5, the two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522 are arranged in four sets in the left-right direction.

[0110] As illustrated in FIG. 8, the two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522 are disposed below the depth surface of the lower end portion of the glass 45 across the fiber-reinforced core member 423 disposed below the depth surface of the lower end portion of the glass 45 at a position in the depth direction at which the glass 45 is disposed. The two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522 are disposed separately on the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 in the depth direction below the depth surface of the lower end portion of the glass 45.

[0111] The two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522 are rotatably disposed at upper end portions of the outdoor-side lower-frame slide rail 223 and the outdoor-side lower-frame slide rail 223 formed on the lower frame 22. The outdoor-side lower-frame slide rail 223 and the indoor-side lower-frame slide rail 224 are disposed so as to be separated from each other in the depth direction.

[0112] The wheel support frame 51 is formed so as to extend in the depth direction below the fiber-reinforced core member 423. The wheel support frame 51 supports the two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522 and reinforces the bottom rail 42 by being provided below the fiber-reinforced core member 423. The wheel support frame 51 is formed by being divided into two parts in the depth direction, namely an outdoor-side frame portion 511 (outdoor-side reinforcing portion) and an indoor-side frame portion 512 (indoor-side reinforcing portion). The outdoor-side frame portion 511 and the indoor-side frame portion 512 are each formed of a metal material such as aluminum. A coupling member 513 (bridge member) is disposed between the outdoor-side frame portion 511 and the indoor-side frame portion 512. The coupling member 513 is formed of a member having heat insulating properties such as resin, and couples the outdoor-side frame portion 511 and the indoor-side frame portion 512. The coupling member 513 is provided below the fiber-reinforced core member 423.

[0113] The coupling member 513 blocks heat transfer from the outdoor side X1 to the indoor side X2 in the wheel support frame 51 of the roller 5. The fiber-reinforced core member 423 (strength member) is disposed above the coupling member 513. Therefore, even when the coupling member 513 is formed of resin, since the coupling member 513 is provided below the fiber-reinforced core member 423, the strength of the wheel support frame 51 can be ensured by disposing the fiber-reinforced core member 423 above the coupling member 513.

[0114] The outdoor-side frame portion 511 is formed so as to open downward, and the wheel portion 521 on the outdoor side X1 is disposed inside the outdoor-side frame portion 511. A downwardly extending piece 514 protruding downward is formed at an outdoor-side X1 end portion of the outdoor-side frame portion 511. The airtight member 2232 attached to the airtight-member disposition portion 2231 protruding toward the outdoor side X1 from the portion closer to the upper end portion in the middle of the outdoor-side lower-frame slide rail 223 of the lower frame 22 in the up-down direction is in contact with the downwardly extending piece 514. The indoor-side frame portion 512 is formed so as to be directed downward, and the wheel portion 522 on the indoor side X2 is disposed inside the indoor-side frame portion 512.

[0115] Details of the frame-side stile 43 are further described. As illustrated in FIG. 2, the frame-side stile 43 includes a wooden stile-and-rail main body 431 disposed at a right-side (the other side in the in-plane direction) end portion of the glass 45 in the left-right direction and the fiber-reinforced core member 433 disposed inside the stile-and-rail main body 431. Since the frame-side stile 43 has a configuration similar to a configuration obtained by reversing the frame-side stile 33 of the fixed sash 3 illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 6 described above in the left-right direction, description of the frame-side stile 43 is omitted by incorporating the description of the frame-side stile 33 of the fixed sash 3 illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 6 described above.

[0116] Details of the meeting stile 44 are further described. As illustrated in FIG. 7, the meeting stile 44 includes a wooden stile-and-rail main body 441 disposed at a left-side (one side in the in-plane direction) end portion of the glass 45 in the left-right direction and the fiber-reinforced core member 443 disposed inside the stile-and-rail main body 441.

[0117] The meeting stile 44 has a configuration in which an airtight-member disposition frame 4413 and an indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 4412 are disposed at a portion at which the indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 3412 was disposed, after the meeting stile 34 of the fixed sash 3 illustrated in FIG. 7 described above has been rotated by 180°. Therefore, regarding description of the meeting stile 44, for a configuration similar to that of the meeting stile 34 of the fixed sash 3 illustrated in FIG. 7 described above, corresponding reference numerals are given and description is omitted.

[0118] In the meeting stile 44, the airtight-member disposition frame 4413 (airtight-member disposition portion) is fixed to an outdoor-side X1 portion of the inward protruding portion 3432 on the right side in the left-right direction at an indoor-side X2 end-portion side of a core-member depth-direction extending plate 4431 (first portion) of the fiber-reinforced core member 443, and the indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 4412 is fixed to the right side in the left-right direction of the airtight-member disposition frame 4413. The airtight-member disposition frame 4413 is disposed on a side of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 4431 of the fiber-reinforced core member 443, and the indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 4412 is disposed on the right side in the left-right direction of the airtight-member disposition frame 4413. The airtight-member disposition frame 4413 is made of metal and is formed of a metal material such as aluminum. The airtight-member disposition frame 4413 may be made of resin.

[0119] An airtight member 4413a is attached to an outdoor-side X1 surface of the airtight-member disposition frame 4413. The airtight member 4413a is in contact with an indoor-side X2 surface of the U-shaped hook portion 3435 of the meeting stile 34 of the fixed sash 3 in a case in which the sliding sash 4 is positioned at the closed position.

[0120] The U-shaped hook portion 4435 of the meeting stile 44 is disposed so as to be hooked to the U-shaped hook portion 3435 of the meeting stile 34 of the fixed sash 3 in a case in which the sliding sash 4 is positioned at the closed position. Accordingly, in a case in which the sliding sash 4 moves from the open position to the closed position, movement of the sliding sash 4 is restricted so as not to move further toward the right side in the left-right direction than a position at which the U-shaped hook portion 4435 of the meeting stile 44 is hooked to the U-shaped hook portion 4435 of the meeting stile 34 of the fixed sash 3. Therefore, collision of the sliding sash 4 with the frame-side vertical frame 24 (see FIG. 2) disposed on the right side in the left-right direction of the frame 2 can be suppressed.

[0121] The fitting 1 of the first embodiment has the following effects.

[0122] The fitting 1 of the present embodiment includes the glasses 35 and 45, and the glass holders (the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, the meeting stile 34, the top rail 41, the bottom rail 42, the frame-side stile 43, and the meeting stile 44) configured to hold the end portions of the glasses 35 and 45 in the in-plane direction, the glass holders each include the stile-and-rail main bodies 311, 321, 331, 341, 411, 421, 431, and 441, and the fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, 343, 413, 423, 433, and 443 configured with fiber-reinforced plastic, and the fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, 343, 413, 423, 433, and 443 each include the first portions (the core-member depth-direction extending plates 3131, 3231, 3331, 3431, 3631, 3731, 3831, 4231, and 4431) extending along the depth direction and the second portions (the in-plane-direction extending plate 3132a of the L-shaped inward protruding portion 3132, the outward extending portion 3133, the upward inner-side extending plate 3232a of the L-shaped inward protruding portion 3232, the outward extending portion 3233, the inner-side extending plate 3332a of the L-shaped inward protruding portion 3332, the outward extending portion 3333, the inward protruding portion 3432, the inner-side extending plate 3433a of the L-shaped inward protruding portion 3433, and the outward protruding plate 3434) extending from the first portions along the in-plane direction.

[0123] Therefore, since the fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, 343, 413, 423, 433, and 443 are configured with fiber-reinforced plastic, the heat insulating properties can be ensured. The fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, 343, 413, 423, 433, and 443 can more reliably ensure the strength by including members extending in both directions of the first portions extending along the depth direction and the second portions extending along the in-plane direction. Accordingly, the strength of the glass holders (the top rail 31, the bottom rail 32, the frame-side stile 33, the meeting stile 34, the top rail 41, the bottom rail 42, the frame-side stile 43, and the meeting stile 44) can be improved while the heat insulating performance is ensured. As a result, since the strength of the glass holders can be improved, in the fitting 1 disposed at the opening 11 of the large opening, the width in the in-plane direction of the stiles and rails of the sashes (the fixed sash 3 and the sliding sash 4) can be reduced, and slimming of the stiles and rails can be achieved. Accordingly, design quality can be improved.

[0124] In the present embodiment, the fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, 343, 413, 423, 433, and 443 are provided so as to cover the end portions of the glasses 35 and 45 in the in-plane direction, and include the U-shape portions 316, 326, 336, 346, 416, 426, 436, and 446 covering the end portions of the glasses 35 and 45 in the in-plane direction. Accordingly, the fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, 343, 413, 423, 433, and 443 can be easily supported by covering the end portions of the glasses 35 and 45 in the in-plane direction by the U-shape portions 316, 326, 336, 346, 416, 426, 436, and 446.

[0125] In the present embodiment, the fiber-reinforced core member 423 provided at the lower end portion of the glass 45 includes the glass lower-end-portion disposition plate 4231a of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 4231 disposed along the lower end portion of the glass 45 and the pair of outer-side extending plates 4231b extending toward the outer side in the thickness direction of the glass 45 beyond the in-plane surface of the glass 45. Accordingly, even in a case in which a load of the glass 45 is applied at the lower end portion of the glass 45, the load of the glass 45 can be dispersed and received by the pair of outer-side extending plates 4231b of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 4231 on the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 in the thickness direction of the glass 45, so that deformation of the lower end portion of the sliding sash 4 can be suppressed.

[0126] The present embodiment includes the wheel support frame 51 disposed at the lower end portion of the sliding sash 4, the wheel support frame 51 includes the outdoor-side frame portion 511, the indoor-side frame portion 512, and the coupling member 513 disposed between the outdoor-side frame portion 511 and the indoor-side frame portion 512, and the coupling member 513 is provided below the fiber-reinforced core member 423. Accordingly, by coupling the outdoor-side frame portion 511 and the indoor-side frame portion 512 by the coupling member 513, the heat insulating performance can be improved, and since the fiber-reinforced core member 423 is disposed above the coupling member 513, the strength at a portion at which the coupling member 513 is disposed can be ensured.

[0127] In the present embodiment, the stile-and-rail main bodies 311, 321, 331, 341, 411, 421, 431, and 441 are wood material. Accordingly, by ensuring the strength by providing the fiber-reinforced core members 313, 323, 333, 343, 413, 423, 433, and 443 on the stile-and-rail main bodies 311, 321, 331, 341, 411, 421, 431, and 441, even when the stile-and-rail main bodies 311, 321, 331, 341, 411, 421, 431, and 441 are formed of wood material in order to increase a proportion of wood material in order to produce the authentic feel of wood material, in the fitting 1 disposed at the opening 11 of the large opening, the width in the in-plane direction of the stiles and rails of the sashes (the fixed sash 3 and the sliding sash 4) can be reduced, and in the stiles and rails, slimming of the stiles and rails can be achieved while producing the authentic feel of wood material.

[0128] In the present embodiment, the meeting stile 44 includes the airtight-member disposition frame 4413 fixed to the stile-and-rail main body 441, and the airtight-member disposition frame 4413 is made of metal or resin. Accordingly, by configuring the airtight-member disposition frame 4413 to be made of metal or resin that is less likely to be deformed and less likely to be deteriorated compared with wood material, the airtightness can be reliably maintained. By configuring the airtight-member disposition frame 4413 to be made of metal or resin, processing is easier than forming the airtight-member disposition frame 4413 of wood material.

[0129] The fitting 1 of the present embodiment includes the glass 45, the roller 5 provided at the lower end portion of the glass 45 in the in-plane direction and including the two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522 disposed so as to be separated from each other in the depth direction, and the fiber-reinforced core member 423 as the strength member disposed between the roller 5 and the glass 45 and provided straddling the two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522.

[0130] Therefore, by including the roller 5 having the two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522 disposed so as to be separated from each other in the depth direction, the width in the in-plane direction of the bottom rail 42 can be reduced while the sliding sash 4 is stably caused to travel by the two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522, and slimming of the bottom rail 42 can be achieved. By providing the fiber-reinforced core member 423 as the strength member between the roller 5 and the glass 45, the load of the glass 45 can be supported by the fiber-reinforced core member 423 and the strength can be ensured. Accordingly, strength to support the heavy-weight glass can be provided. In the present embodiment, the configuration in which the fiber-reinforced core member 423 as the strength member is provided between the roller 5 and the glass 45 is adopted; however, in a case in which the strength member is provided between the roller 5 and the glass 45, the strength member is not limited to the fiber-reinforced core member 423. The strength member is not particularly limited as long as the member can ensure the strength.

[0131] In the present embodiment, by configuring the fiber-reinforced core member 423 with fiber-reinforced plastic, both high heat insulating properties and high strength can be ensured.

[0132] Next, a bottom rail 42A of a sliding sash 4A of a second embodiment will be described. As illustrated in FIG. 9, a configuration of the bottom rail 42A of the sliding sash 4A of the second embodiment mainly differs from the configuration of the bottom rail 42 of the sliding sash 4 of the first embodiment illustrated in FIG. 8. In the second embodiment, regarding a configuration similar to that of the first embodiment, the same reference numerals are given to the same members and description is omitted.

[0133] As illustrated in FIG. 9, the bottom rail 42A includes a wooden stile-and-rail main body 721 disposed at a lower end portion of the glass 45 in the in-plane direction, a fiber-reinforced core member 723 (strength member) disposed inside the stile-and-rail main body 721, and a roller 6 disposed at a lower end portion of the bottom rail 42A.

[0134] The fiber-reinforced core member 723 includes a core-member depth-direction extending plate 7231 (first portion) extending in the depth direction and a pair of L-shaped inward protruding portions 7232 (second portions) protruding from an indoor-side X2 end portion and an outdoor-side X1 end portion in the depth direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 7231 toward an upper side in the up-down direction (an inner side in the in-plane direction) along the in-plane surface of the glass 35.

[0135] The pair of L-shaped inward protruding portions 7232 each includes an upward inner-side extending plate 7232a (second portion) extending from both end portions in the depth direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 7231 toward the upper side in the up-down direction (the inner side in the in-plane direction), and a pair of outer-side extending plates 7232b (outer-side extending portions) extending from an upper end portion (an end portion on the inner side in the in-plane direction) of the upward inner-side extending plate 7232a toward the indoor side X2 (outer side) or the outdoor side X1 (outer side) in the depth direction of the glass 45. The pair of outer-side extending plates 7232b is formed so as to extend toward outer sides in the depth direction (the indoor side X2 and the outdoor side X1) beyond the indoor-side X2 in-plane surface and the outdoor-side X1 in-plane surface of the glass 45 in the thickness direction at the lower end portion of the glass 45.

[0136] A U-shaped U-shape portion 726 opening upward, the U-shape portion 726 being formed by the core-member depth-direction extending plate 7231 of the fiber-reinforced core member 723 and the pair of upward inner-side extending plates 7232a of the pair of L-shaped inward protruding portions 7232, is disposed so as to cover the lower end portion of the glass 45, and covers indoor-side X2 and outdoor-side X1 surfaces and a lower-end depth surface of the lower end portion of the glass 45.

[0137] By disposing the lower end portion of the glass 45 so as to be covered by the U-shape portion 726, in the up-down direction, the lower end portion of the glass 45 is disposed between the pair of upward inner-side extending plates 7232a of the pair of L-shaped inward protruding portions 7232 in the depth direction in a state in which a lower end surface (depth surface) of the lower end portion extending in the depth direction is disposed on an upper surface of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 7231.

[0138] The pair of upward inner-side extending plates 7232a is disposed along the indoor-side X2 in-plane surface and the outdoor-side X1 in-plane surface at the lower end portion of the glass 45. Therefore, the lower end portion of the glass 35 can be supported in a state in which the pair of upward inner-side extending plates 7232a are along the indoor-side X2 in-plane surface and the outdoor-side X1 in-plane surface at the lower end portion of the glass 45.

[0139] The wooden stile-and-rail main body 721 is disposed so as to cover the fiber-reinforced core member 723 around the fiber-reinforced core member 723. The wooden stile-and-rail main body 721 includes an L-shaped indoor-side member 7211 disposed on the indoor side X2 of the lower end portion of the glass 45 and an L-shaped outdoor-side member 7212 disposed on the outdoor side X1 of the lower end portion of the glass 45.

[0140] The indoor-side member 7211 is formed in an L shape, and includes a depth-direction extending portion 7211a extending toward the indoor side X2 by a predetermined length from a position facing an indoor-side X2 in-plane surface on the lower-end-portion side of the glass 45, and a downwardly extending portion 7211b extending downward from an indoor-side X2 end portion of the depth-direction extending portion 7211a. The depth-direction extending portion 7211a extends in the depth direction along an upper surface of the outer-side extending plate 7232b on the indoor side X2 of the fiber-reinforced core member 723. The downwardly extending portion 7211b extends in the up-down direction along an indoor-side X2 surface of an indoor-side frame portion 612 (described later) of a wheel support frame 61 of the roller 6.

[0141] The outdoor-side member 7212 is formed in an L shape, and includes a depth-direction extending portion 7212a extending toward the outdoor side X1 by a predetermined length from a position facing an outdoor-side X1 in-plane surface on the lower-end-portion side of the glass 45, and a downwardly extending portion 7212b extending downward from an outdoor-side X1 end portion of the depth-direction extending portion 7212a. The depth-direction extending portion 7212a extends in the depth direction along an upper surface of the outer-side extending plate 7232b on the outdoor side X1 of the fiber-reinforced core member 723. The downwardly extending portion 7212b extends in the up-down direction along an outdoor-side X1 surface of an outdoor-side frame portion 611 (described later) of the wheel support frame 61 of the roller 6.

[0142] In a state in which the lower end portion of the glass 45 is disposed in the U-shape portion 726, an adhesive 727 is disposed between an indoor-side X2 surface on the lower-end-portion side of the glass 45 and an outdoor-side X1 end surface of the depth-direction extending portion 7211a of the indoor-side member 7211 and an outdoor-side X1 end surface of the L-shaped inward protruding portion 7232 on the indoor side X2. An adhesive 727 is disposed between an outdoor-side X1 surface on the lower-end-portion side of the glass 45 and an indoor-side X2 end surface of the depth-direction extending portion 7212a of the outdoor-side member 7212 and an indoor-side X2 end surface of the L-shaped inward protruding portion 7232 on the outdoor side X1.

[0143] As illustrated in FIG. 9, the roller 6 is disposed below the fiber-reinforced core member 723 disposed below the lower end portion of the glass 45. The roller 6 is disposed on a lower surface of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 7231 of the fiber-reinforced core member 723.

[0144] The roller 6 includes a wheel support frame 61 (reinforcing portion) and a two-row wheel configuration portion 62 configured by providing two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622 in the depth direction, the two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622 being arranged in a plurality of sets in the left-right direction. The two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622 are disposed at a lower end portion of the bottom rail 42A (glass holder) configured to hold the lower end portion of the glass 45. The two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622 are respectively disposed below the pair of outer-side extending plates 7232b formed on outer sides (the indoor side X2 and the outdoor side X1) of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 7231 of the fiber-reinforced core member 723. The fiber-reinforced core member 723 is disposed straddling the two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622 of the roller 6 disposed separately on the indoor side X2 and the outdoor side X1 in the depth direction, at an upper portion of the two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622. In the present embodiment, as in the roller 5 of the first embodiment, as illustrated in FIG. 1, in the roller 6, the two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622 are arranged in four sets in the left-right direction.

[0145] As illustrated in FIG. 9, the two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622 are disposed separately on the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 in the depth direction across the lower end portion of the glass 45 in the depth direction. Specifically, of the two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622, the wheel portion 621 on the outdoor side X1 is disposed so as to be separated toward the outdoor side X1 from an outdoor-side X1 in-plane surface of the lower end portion of the glass 45, and the wheel portion 622 on the indoor side X2 is disposed so as to be separated toward the indoor side X2 from an indoor-side X2 in-plane surface of the lower end portion of the glass 45.

[0146] The two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622 are disposed at positions on the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 of a range in the depth direction in which the glass 45 is disposed in the depth direction, and parts on upper portion sides of the two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622 are disposed at positions overlapping with the lower end portion of the glass 45 when viewed in the depth direction in the up-down direction. Accordingly, the width in the in-plane direction (the width in the up-down direction) of the bottom rail 42A can be reduced compared with a case in which the wheel portions are disposed at the lower end portion of the glass 45.

[0147] The two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622 are rotatably disposed at upper end portions of an outdoor-side lower-frame slide rail 223A and an indoor-side lower-frame slide rail 224A formed on a lower frame 22A. The outdoor-side lower-frame slide rail 223A and an indoor-side lower-frame slide rail 224A of the second embodiment are disposed so as to be separated from each other in the depth direction by a greater distance than the outdoor-side lower-frame slide rail 223 and the indoor-side lower-frame slide rail 224 of the first embodiment.

[0148] The wheel support frame 61 is formed so as to extend in the depth direction below the fiber-reinforced core member 723. The wheel support frame 61 supports the two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622 and reinforces the bottom rail 42A by being provided below the fiber-reinforced core member 723. The wheel support frame 61 is formed by being divided into two parts in the depth direction, namely an outdoor-side frame portion 611 (outdoor-side reinforcing portion) and an indoor-side frame portion 612 (indoor-side reinforcing portion). The outdoor-side frame portion 611 and the indoor-side frame portion 612 are each formed of a metal material such as aluminum. A coupling member 613 (bridge member) is disposed between the outdoor-side frame portion 611 and the indoor-side frame portion 612. The coupling member 613 is formed of a member having heat insulating properties such as resin, and couples the outdoor-side frame portion 611 and the indoor-side frame portion 612. The coupling member 613 is provided below the fiber-reinforced core member 723.

[0149] The coupling member 613 blocks heat transfer from the outdoor side X1 to the indoor side X2 in the wheel support frame 61 of the roller 6. The fiber-reinforced core member 723 (strength member) is disposed above the coupling member 613. Therefore, even when the coupling member 613 is formed of resin, since the coupling member 613 is provided below the fiber-reinforced core member 723, the strength of the wheel support frame 61 can be ensured by disposing the fiber-reinforced core member 723 above the coupling member 613.

[0150] The outdoor-side frame portion 611 includes a frame body 611a opening downward and a hollow portion 611b disposed at a lower portion on the indoor side X2 of the frame body 611a. The wheel portion 621 on the outdoor side X1 is disposed inside the frame body 611a. A downwardly extending piece 614 protruding downward is formed at an outdoor-side X1 end portion of the outdoor-side frame portion 611. An airtight member 2232 attached to an airtight-member disposition portion 2231 protruding toward the outdoor side X1 from a portion closer to an upper end portion in the middle of the outdoor-side lower-frame slide rail 223A of the lower frame 22A in the up-down direction is in contact with the downwardly extending piece 614.

[0151] The indoor-side frame portion 612 includes a frame body 612a opening downward and a hollow portion 612b disposed at a lower portion on the outdoor side X1 of the frame body 612a. The wheel portion 622 on the indoor side X2 is disposed inside the frame body 612a.

[0152] The fitting 1 of the second embodiment has the following effects.

[0153] The fitting 1 of the present embodiment includes the glass 45, the roller 6 provided at the lower end portion of the glass 45 in the in-plane direction and including the two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622 disposed so as to be separated from each other in the depth direction, and the fiber-reinforced core member 723 as the strength member disposed between the roller 6 and the glass 45 and provided straddling the two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622.

[0154] Therefore, as in the first embodiment described above, the strength of the glass holder can be improved while the heat insulating performance is ensured, and as a result, design quality can be improved by achieving slimming of the stiles and rails. Furthermore, by including the roller 6 having the two rows of wheel portions 621 and 622 disposed so as to be separated from each other in the depth direction, the width in the in-plane direction of the bottom rail 42A can be reduced while the sliding sash 4 is stably caused to travel by the two rows of wheel portions 521 and 522, and slimming of the bottom rail 42A can be achieved. By providing the fiber-reinforced core member 723 as the strength member between the roller 6 and the glass 45, the load of the glass 45 can be supported by the fiber-reinforced core member 723 and the strength can be ensured. Accordingly, strength to support the heavy-weight glass can be provided. In the present embodiment, the configuration in which the fiber-reinforced core member 723 as the strength member is provided between the roller 6 and the glass 45 is adopted; however, in a case in which the strength member is provided between the roller 6 and the glass 45, the strength member is not limited to the fiber-reinforced core member 723. The strength member is not particularly limited as long as the member can ensure the strength.

[0155] In the present embodiment, the fiber-reinforced core member 723 is provided so as to cover the lower end portion of the glass 45 in the in-plane direction, and includes the U-shape portion 726 covering the end portion of the glass 45 in the in-plane direction. Accordingly, the fiber-reinforced core member 723 can be easily supported by covering the lower end portion of the glass 45 in the in-plane direction by the U-shape portion 726.

[0156] In the present embodiment, the fiber-reinforced core member 723 provided at the lower end portion of the glass 45 includes the core-member depth-direction extending plate 7231 disposed along the lower end portion of the glass 45 and the pair of outer-side extending plates 7232b extending toward the outer side in the thickness direction of the glass 45 beyond the in-plane surface of the glass 45. In the present embodiment, the pair of outer-side extending plates 7232b is formed so as to extend toward the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 from both end portions on the open side of the U-shape portion 726. Accordingly, even in a case in which a load of the glass 45 is applied at the lower end portion of the glass 45, the load of the glass 45 can be dispersed and received by the pair of outer-side extending plates 7232b on the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 in the thickness direction of the glass 45, so that deformation of the lower end portion of the sliding sash 4A can be suppressed.

[0157] The present embodiment includes the wheel support frame 61 disposed at the lower end portion of the sliding sash 4A, the wheel support frame 61 includes the outdoor-side frame portion 611, the indoor-side frame portion 612, and the coupling member 613 disposed between the outdoor-side frame portion 611 and the indoor-side frame portion 612, and the coupling member 613 is provided below the fiber-reinforced core member 723. Accordingly, by coupling the outdoor-side frame portion 611 and the indoor-side frame portion 612 by the coupling member 613, the heat insulating performance can be improved, and since the fiber-reinforced core member 723 is disposed above the coupling member 613, the strength at a portion at which the coupling member 613 is disposed can be ensured.

[0158] In the present embodiment, by configuring the fiber-reinforced core member 723 with fiber-reinforced plastic, both high heat insulating properties and high strength can be ensured.

[0159] Next, a meeting stile 34B of a fixed sash 3B of a third embodiment and a meeting stile 44B of a sliding sash 4B of the third embodiment will be described. As illustrated in FIG. 10, structures of the meeting stile 34B of the fixed sash 3B of the third embodiment and the meeting stile 44B of the sliding sash 4B of the third embodiment mainly differ from structures of the meeting stile 34 of the fixed sash 3 of the first embodiment and the meeting stile 44 of the sliding sash 4 of the first embodiment illustrated in FIG. 7. [0214] In a state in which the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction is disposed so as to be covered by the U-shape portion 356, between indoor-side X2 and outdoor-side X1 in-plane surfaces of the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction and the first inward protruding portion 3532 on the indoor side X2 and the first inward protruding portion 3532 on the outdoor side X1 of the fiber-reinforced core member 353, at the open-side portion of the U-shape portion 356, a sealing member 357 is disposed, and at a closed-side portion of the U-shape portion 356, a backup member 358 is disposed between the sealing member 357 and a left-side surface in the left-right direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3531 of the fiber-reinforced core member 353. As the sealing member 357, a glazing channel may be used.

[0215] On the indoor side X2 and the outdoor side X1 of the glass 35, the attachment plate 3541 of the resin angle 354 is inserted between the first inward protruding portion 3532 and the second inward protruding portion 3533, respectively, and is attached by press-fitting. The resin angle 354 includes the attachment plate 3541 disposed in the gap between the first inward protruding portion 3532 and the second inward protruding portion 3533 and extending in the left-right direction, and a covering plate 3542 connected to a left-side end portion in the left-right direction of the attachment plate 3541 and extending in the depth direction.

[0216] The covering plate 3542 is formed so as to extend in the depth direction along a left-side end surface in the left-right direction of the sealing member 357, and left-side end surfaces in the left-right direction of the first inward protruding portion 3532 and the second inward protruding portion 3533, and extends in the depth direction so as to cover the portion sealed by the sealing member 357. An inward cover portion 3513 (described later) of the wooden stile-and-rail main body 351 is attached to a left-side surface in the left-right direction of the covering plate 3542.

[0217] The wooden stile-and-rail main body 351 is disposed so as to cover the fiber-reinforced core member 353 around the fiber-reinforced core member 353. The wooden stile-and-rail main body 351 includes a surrounding member 3511 disposed so as to surround a right-side portion in the left-right direction and an outdoor-side X1 end-portion side portion of the fiber-reinforced core member 353, an indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 3512 disposed on an indoor-side X2 end-portion side of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3531 of the fiber-reinforced core member 353, and a pair of inward cover portions 3513 disposed along left-side surfaces in the left-right direction of the pair of resin angles 354. The surrounding member 3511, the indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 3512, and the pair of inward cover portions 3513 are configured with wooden members (wood material).

[0218] The surrounding member 3511 includes a depth-direction extending portion 3511a extending in the depth direction and an in-plane-direction inward extending portion 3511b extending from an outdoor-side X1 end portion of the depth-direction extending portion 3511a toward the left side in the left-right direction.

[0219] The depth-direction extending portion 3511a extends in the depth direction along a right-side surface in the left-right direction of the U-shaped hook portion 3534 of the fiber-reinforced core member 353 and a right-side surface in the left-right direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3531, so as to cover the right-side surface in the left-right direction of the U-shaped hook portion 3534 of the fiber-reinforced core member 353 and the right-side surface in the left-right direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 3531. The in-plane-direction inward extending portion 3511b extends in the in-plane direction along an outdoor-side X1 surface of the second inward protruding portion 3533 on the outdoor side X1 of the fiber-reinforced core member 353, so as to cover the outdoor-side X1 surface of the second inward protruding portion 3533 on the outdoor side X1 of the fiber-reinforced core member 353.

[0220] The indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 3512 is disposed along an indoor-side X2 surface of the second inward protruding portion 3533 on the indoor side X2 of the fiber-reinforced core member 353.

[0221] The pair of inward cover portions 3513 is disposed on the left side in the left-right direction of the sealing member 357 in order to hide the sealing member 357 disposed on the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 of the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction. The pair of inward cover portions 3513 is attached to the first inward protruding portion 3532 and the second inward protruding portion 3533 of the fiber-reinforced core member 353 via the resin angle 354.

[0222] The pair of inward cover portions 3513 extends in the depth direction along a left-side surface in the left-right direction of the covering plate 3542 of the resin angle 354 attached to the left side in the left-right direction of the first inward protruding portion 3532 and the second inward protruding portion 3533 of the fiber-reinforced core member 353 on the indoor side X2 and the outdoor side X1 of the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction. The pair of inward cover portions 3513 is attached to the left-side surface in the left-right direction of the covering plate 3542 of the resin angle 354.

[0223] In a case in which the wooden inward cover portion 3513 is disposed on the left side in the left-right direction of the sealing member 357 via the resin angle 354 after the sealing member 357 is applied to the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 of the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction, in a state in which the inward cover portion 3513 is attached in advance to the left-side surface in the left-right direction of the covering plate 3542 of the resin angle 354, the attachment plate 3541 of the resin angle 354 is inserted between the first inward protruding portion 3532 and the second inward protruding portion 3533 of the fiber-reinforced core member 353 by press-fitting and attached. In a case in which the wooden inward cover portion 3513 disposed on the left side in the left-right direction of the sealing member 357 is removed, in a state in which the inward cover portion 3513 is attached to the left-side surface in the left-right direction of the covering plate 3542 of the resin angle 354, the attachment plate 3541 of the resin angle 354 is removed from the first inward protruding portion 3532 and the second inward protruding portion 3533 of the fiber-reinforced core member 353. In this manner, in a state in which the inward cover portion 3513 is attached to the resin angle 354, the inward cover portion 3513 can be retrofitted to the fiber-reinforced core member 353 or removed from the fiber-reinforced core member 353.

[0224] As described above, by attaching the wooden inward cover portion 3513 on the left side in the left-right direction of the sealing member 357 via the resin angle 354, the sealing member 357 disposed on the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 of the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction can be hidden by the wooden inward cover portion 3513, so that design quality can be improved.

[0225] Since the wooden inward cover portion 3513 is attached to the fiber-reinforced core member 353 via the resin angle 354, the wooden inward cover portion 3513 can be attached to the fiber-reinforced core member 353 via the resin angle 354 in a state in which warping of the wooden inward cover portion 3513 is suppressed, compared with directly attaching the wooden inward cover portion 3513 to the fiber-reinforced core member 353.

[0226] By covering the sealing member 357 disposed on the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 of the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction with the resin angle 354 made of resin having excellent heat insulating properties and the wooden inward cover portion 3513 having excellent heat insulating properties, the heat insulating properties can be improved.

[0227] In this manner, since the wooden inward cover portion 3513 can be attached to the fiber-reinforced core member 353 via the resin angle 354 made of resin after the sealing member 357 is applied to the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 of the right-side end portion of the glass 35 in the left-right direction, an attachment structure of the wooden inward cover portion 3513 having both improvement in design quality, suppression of warping of wood material, and improvement in heat insulating properties can be provided.

[0228] Next, of the meeting stile 34F of the fixed sash 3F and the meeting stile 44F of the sliding sash 4F of the seventh embodiment, the meeting stile 44F of the sliding sash 4F will be described.

[0229] As illustrated in FIG. 14, the meeting stile 44F includes a wooden stile-and-rail main body 451 disposed at a left-side (one side in the in-plane direction) end portion of the glass 45 in the left-right direction, a fiber-reinforced core member 453 disposed inside the stile-and-rail main body 451, and a pair of resin angles 454.

[0230] The meeting stile 44F has a configuration in which an airtight-member disposition portion 4536 integral with the fiber-reinforced core member 453 is provided at a portion at which the indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 3512 was disposed, the inward cover portion 4513 on the outdoor side X1 is formed so as to be extended toward the outdoor side X1, and a spacer 4514 is disposed between the airtight-member disposition portion 4536 and the inward cover portion 4513 on the outdoor side X1, after the meeting stile 34F of the fixed sash 3F illustrated in FIG. 14 described above has been rotated by 180°. Configurations of the pair of inward cover portions 4513 and the pair of resin angles 454 of the wooden stile-and-rail main body 451 are configurations similar to configurations of the pair of inward cover portions 3513 and the resin angles 354 of the wooden stile-and-rail main body 351 of the meeting stile 34 of the fixed sash 3F. Regarding description of the meeting stile 44F, for a configuration similar to that of the meeting stile 34F of the fixed sash 3F illustrated in FIG. 14 described above, corresponding reference numerals are given and description is omitted.

[0231] In the fiber-reinforced core member 453 of the meeting stile 44F, a protruding plate 4535 protruding toward the outdoor side X1 from a right-side end portion in the left-right direction of an inward protruding portion 4533 on the outdoor side X1 is formed at the inward protruding portion 4533 on the outdoor side X1. An outdoor-side X1 end portion of a core-member depth-direction extending plate 4531 of the fiber-reinforced core member 453, the inward protruding portion 4533 on the outdoor side X1, and the protruding plate 4535 constitute a U-shaped airtight-member disposition portion 4536 that is recessed toward the indoor side X2 and opens toward the outdoor side X1.

[0232] An airtight member 4537 is attached to a recess of the airtight-member disposition portion 4536 opening toward the outdoor side X1. The airtight member 4537 includes a horizontal plate portion 4537a extending in the left-right direction, an airtight pressing portion 4537b protruding from an outdoor-side X1 surface of the horizontal plate portion 4537a toward the outdoor side X1, a central protrusion 4537c protruding from a center in the left-right direction of an indoor-side X2 surface of the horizontal plate portion 4537a toward the indoor side X2, and a pair of fitting protrusions 4537d protruding from both end portion sides in the left-right direction of the indoor-side X2 surface of the horizontal plate portion 4537a toward the indoor side X2.

[0233] The airtight member 4537 is fixed by being bonded by an adhesive 4538 to an outdoor-side X1 surface of a bottom portion of the recess of the airtight-member disposition portion 4536 in a state in which a base end of the airtight member 4537 is inserted into the recess of the airtight-member disposition portion 4536, and on a base-end side, the pair of fitting protrusions 4537d is fitted to side walls of both end portions in the left-right direction on a bottom-portion side of the recess of the airtight-member disposition portion 4536. The adhesive 4538 is filled between the central protrusion 4537c and each of the pair of fitting protrusions 4537d disposed on both sides in the left-right direction of the central protrusion 4537c on the base-end side of the airtight member 4537, and bonds and fixes the base end of the airtight member 4537 and the bottom portion of the recess of the airtight-member disposition portion 4536.

[0234] In the present embodiment, the fiber-reinforced core member 453 is configured with fiber-reinforced plastic, and is difficult to form into a complex shape such as, for example, a C-shaped hole shape having a pair of inner protruding portions protruding inward from both end portions. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the airtight-member disposition portion 4536 is configured by simply providing a recess in the fiber-reinforced core member 453, and the base-end side of the airtight member 4537 is bonded and fixed to the recess of the airtight-member disposition portion 4536 by the adhesive 4538.

[0235] The airtight pressing portion 4537b of the airtight member 4537 is in contact with an indoor-side X2 surface of the U-shaped hook portion 3534 of the meeting stile 34F of the fixed sash 3F in a case in which the sliding sash 4F is positioned at the closed position.

[0236] In the present embodiment, since the airtight-member disposition portion 4536 is provided integrally with the fiber-reinforced core member 453, the number of components can be reduced because the airtight member 4537 can be directly attached to the fiber-reinforced core member 453 without providing a separate member, compared with a case in which a separate metal airtight-disposition portion such as aluminum (for example, the hook portion 464 of FIG. 10, the indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 4712 of FIG. 11, the indoor-side in-plane-direction inner-side member 4822 of FIG. 12, and the airtight-member disposition frame 4913 of FIG. 13) is provided on the fiber-reinforced core member as in the embodiments described above. In the present embodiment, since the airtight-member disposition portion 4536 can be provided integrally with the fiber-reinforced core member 453 without providing a separate metal airtight-member disposition portion such as aluminum, the heat insulating properties can be improved compared with a case in which a separate metal airtight-member disposition portion such as aluminum is provided.

[0237] Next, the bottom rail 42F of the sliding sash 4F of the seventh embodiment will be described. As illustrated in FIG. 15, the bottom rail 42F includes a wooden stile-and-rail main body 821 disposed at a lower end portion of the glass 45 in the in-plane direction, a fiber-reinforced core member 823 (strength member) disposed inside the stile-and-rail main body 821, a pair of resin angles 824, and a roller 9 disposed at a lower end portion of the bottom rail 42F.

[0238] The fiber-reinforced core member 823 is disposed so as to cover the lower end portion of the glass 45. The fiber-reinforced core member 823 includes a core-member depth-direction extending plate 8231 (first portion) extending in the depth direction, a pair of two inward protruding portions 8232 and 8233 (second portions) provided on each of the indoor side X2 and the outdoor side X1 of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 8231 and protruding toward an upper side in the up-down direction (an inner side in the in-plane direction), and a pair of outward extending portions 8234 (second portions) extending from an indoor-side X2 end portion and an outdoor-side X1 end portion in the depth direction of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 8231 toward a lower side in the up-down direction (an outer side in the in-plane direction).

[0239] The pair of two inward protruding portions 8232 and 8233 is provided as a pair on the indoor side X2 and the outdoor side X1 of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 8231, with the two inward protruding portions 8232 and 8233 as one set. The two inward protruding portions 8232 and 8233 are configured with a first inward protruding portion 8232 protruding upward on a side close to the glass 45, and a second inward protruding portion 8233 protruding upward from an indoor-side X2 end portion or an outdoor-side X1 end portion of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 8231 on a side far from the glass 45.

[0240] The first inward protruding portion 8232 and the second inward protruding portion 8233 extend in the up-down direction and are disposed in parallel side by side in the depth direction with a gap of a predetermined width in the depth direction. The first inward protruding portion 8232, the second inward protruding portion 8233, and the core-member depth-direction extending plate 8231 are disposed in a U shape in which a gap opening toward the upper side in the up-down direction is formed, and an attachment plate 8241 of a resin angle 824 (described later) is inserted between the first inward protruding portion 8232 and the second inward protruding portion 8233 by press-fitting.

[0241] A U-shaped U-shape portion 826 opening toward the upper side in the up-down direction, the U-shape portion 826 being formed by the core-member depth-direction extending plate 8231 of the fiber-reinforced core member 823, the first inward protruding portion 8232 on the indoor side X2, and the first inward protruding portion 8232 on the outdoor side X1, is disposed so as to cover the lower end portion of the glass 45, and covers an indoor-side X2 surface, an outdoor-side X1 surface, and a depth surface of the lower end portion of the glass 45.

[0242] In a state in which the lower end portion of the glass 45 is disposed so as to be covered by the U-shape portion 826, between the indoor-side X2 and outdoor-side X1 in-plane surfaces of the lower end portion of the glass 45 and the first inward protruding portion 8232 on the indoor side X2 and the first inward protruding portion 8232 on the outdoor side X1 of the fiber-reinforced core member 823, at the open-side portion of the U-shape portion 826, a sealing member 827 is disposed, and at a closed-side portion of the U-shape portion 826, a backup member 828 is disposed between the sealing member 827 and an upper-side surface of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 8231 of the fiber-reinforced core member 823. As the sealing member 827, a glazing channel may be used.

[0243] On the indoor side X2 and the outdoor side X1 of the glass 45, the attachment plate 8241 of the resin angle 824 is inserted between the first inward protruding portion 8232 and the second inward protruding portion 8233, respectively, and is attached by press-fitting. The resin angle 824 includes the attachment plate 8241 disposed in the gap between the first inward protruding portion 8232 and the second inward protruding portion 8233 and extending in the up-down direction, and a covering plate 8242 connected to an upper-side end portion in the up-down direction of the attachment plate 8241 and extending in the depth direction.

[0244] The covering plate 8242 is formed so as to extend in the depth direction along an upper-side end surface of the sealing member 827 and upper-side end surfaces of the first inward protruding portion 8232 and the second inward protruding portion 8233, and extends in the depth direction so as to cover a portion sealed by the sealing member 827. An inward cover portion 8212 (described later) of the wooden stile-and-rail main body 821 is attached to an upper-side surface of the covering plate 8242.

[0245] The wooden stile-and-rail main body 821 is disposed so as to cover the fiber-reinforced core member 823 around the fiber-reinforced core member 823. The wooden stile-and-rail main body 821 includes a pair of depth-direction outer-side members 8211 extending in the up-down direction (in-plane direction) along an indoor-side X2 surface and an outdoor-side X1 surface of the fiber-reinforced core member 823, and a pair of inward cover portions 8212 disposed along upper-side surfaces of the pair of resin angles 824. The pair of depth-direction outer-side members 8211 and the pair of inward cover portions 8212 are configured with wooden members (wood material).

[0246] The pair of inward cover portions 8212 is disposed on an upper side of the sealing member 827 in order to hide the sealing member 827 disposed on the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 of the lower end portion of the glass 45. The pair of inward cover portions 8212 is attached to the first inward protruding portion 8232 and the second inward protruding portion 8233 of the fiber-reinforced core member 823 via the resin angle 824, respectively.

[0247] The pair of inward cover portions 8212 extends in the depth direction along an upper-side surface of the covering plate 8242 of the resin angle 824 attached on the upper side of the first inward protruding portion 8232 and the second inward protruding portion 8233 of the fiber-reinforced core member 823 on the indoor side X2 and the outdoor side X1 of the lower end portion of the glass 45, respectively. The pair of inward cover portions 8212 is attached to the upper-side surface of the covering plate 8242 of the resin angle 824, respectively.

[0248] In a case in which the wooden inward cover portion 8212 is disposed on the upper side of the sealing member 827 via the resin angle 824 after the sealing member 827 is applied to the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 of the lower end portion of the glass 45, in a state in which the inward cover portion 8212 is attached in advance to the upper-side surface of the covering plate 8242 of the resin angle 824, the attachment plate 8241 of the resin angle 824 is inserted between the first inward protruding portion 8232 and the second inward protruding portion 8233 of the fiber-reinforced core member 823 by press-fitting and attached. In a case in which the wooden inward cover portion 8212 disposed on the upper side of the sealing member 827 is removed, in a state in which the inward cover portion 8212 is attached to the upper-side surface of the covering plate 8242 of the resin angle 824, the attachment plate 8241 of the resin angle 824 is removed from the first inward protruding portion 8232 and the second inward protruding portion 8233 of the fiber-reinforced core member 823. In this manner, in a state in which the inward cover portion 8212 is attached to the resin angle 824, the inward cover portion 8212 can be retrofitted to the fiber-reinforced core member 823 or removed from the fiber-reinforced core member 823.

[0249] As described above, by attaching the wooden inward cover portion 8212 on the upper side of the sealing member 827 via the resin angle 824, the sealing member 827 disposed on the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 of the lower end portion of the glass 45 in the left-right direction can be hidden by the wooden inward cover portion 8212, so that design quality can be improved.

[0250] Since the wooden inward cover portion 8212 is attached to the fiber-reinforced core member 823 via the resin angle 824, the wooden inward cover portion 8212 can be attached to the fiber-reinforced core member 823 via the resin angle 824 in a state in which warping of the wooden inward cover portion 8212 is suppressed, compared with directly attaching the wooden inward cover portion 8212 to the fiber-reinforced core member 823.

[0251] By covering the sealing member 827 disposed on the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 of the lower end portion of the glass 45 with the resin angle 824 made of resin having excellent heat insulating properties and the wooden inward cover portion 8212 having excellent heat insulating properties, the heat insulating properties can be improved.

[0252] In this manner, since the wooden inward cover portion 8212 can be attached to the fiber-reinforced core member 823 via the resin angle 824 made of resin after the sealing member 827 is applied to the outdoor side X1 and the indoor side X2 of the lower end portion of the glass 45, an attachment structure of the wooden inward cover portion 8212 having both improvement in design quality, suppression of warping of wood material, and improvement in heat insulating properties can be provided.

[0253] As illustrated in FIG. 15, the roller 9 is disposed below the fiber-reinforced core member 823 disposed below the lower end portion of the glass 45. The roller 9 is disposed on a lower surface of the core-member depth-direction extending plate 8231 of the fiber-reinforced core member 823. In description of the roller 9 of the present embodiment, for a configuration similar to that of the roller 5 illustrated in FIG. 8 described above, corresponding reference numerals are given and description is omitted.

[0254] The roller 9 includes a wheel support frame 91 (reinforcing portion) and a two-row wheel configuration portion 92 configured by providing two rows of wheel portions 921 and 922 in the depth direction, the two rows of wheel portions 921 and 922 being arranged in a plurality of sets in the left-right direction.

[0255] The wheel support frame 91 is disposed below the fiber-reinforced core member 823. The wheel support frame 91 supports the two rows of wheel portions 921 and 922 and reinforces the bottom rail 42F by being provided below the fiber-reinforced core member 823. The wheel support frame 91 is formed by being divided into two parts in the depth direction, namely an outdoor-side frame portion 911 (outdoor-side reinforcing portion) and an indoor-side frame portion 912 (indoor-side reinforcing portion). The outdoor-side frame portion 911 and the indoor-side frame portion 912 are each formed of a metal material such as aluminum.

[0256] A coupling member 913 (bridge member) is disposed between the outdoor-side frame portion 911 and the indoor-side frame portion 912. The coupling member 913 is formed of a member having heat insulating properties such as resin, and couples the outdoor-side frame portion 911 and the indoor-side frame portion 912. The coupling member 913 is provided below the fiber-reinforced core member 823.

[0257] The outdoor-side frame portion 911 is formed so as to open downward, and the wheel portion 921 on the outdoor side X1 is disposed inside the outdoor-side frame portion 911. The indoor-side frame portion 912 is formed so as to be directed downward, and the wheel portion 922 on the indoor side X2 is disposed inside the indoor-side frame portion 912.

[0258] An upper surface of the outdoor-side frame portion 911 and an upper surface of the indoor-side frame portion 912 are formed at the same position in a height direction. The core-member depth-direction extending plate 8231 of the fiber-reinforced core member 823 is disposed straddling the upper surface of the outdoor-side frame portion 911 and the upper surface of the indoor-side frame portion 912. In the present embodiment, the roller 9 is attached to the bottom rail 42F simply by placing the core-member depth-direction extending plate 8231 of the fiber-reinforced core member 823 on the upper surface of the outdoor-side frame portion 911 and the upper surface of the indoor-side frame portion 912 of the wheel support frame 91. Specifically, the roller 9 is attached to the bottom rail 42F of the sliding sash 4F without using a fixing member such as a screw, by placing the sliding sash 4F on the upper surface of the outdoor-side frame portion 911 and the upper surface of the indoor-side frame portion 912 of the wheel support frame 91.

[0259] In a case in which maintenance of the roller 9 is performed, without removing the sliding sash 4F from the frame 2, the sliding sash 4F is lifted by, for example, approximately 5 mm, and, for example, a wooden member attached to a lower end portion of the meeting stile 44F is removed, and the wheel support frame 91 of the roller 9 is slid in a longitudinal direction of the bottom rail 42F. Accordingly, the roller 9 can be removed from a longitudinal-direction end portion of the bottom rail 42F without removing the sliding sash 4F from the frame 2.

[0260] After repair or replacement of the roller 9 is performed, without removing the sliding sash 4F from the frame 2, the sliding sash 4F is lifted by, for example, approximately 5 mm, and the wheel support frame 91 of the roller 9 is inserted from the longitudinal-direction end portion of the bottom rail 42F, and the wheel support frame 91 of the roller 9 is slid in the longitudinal direction of the bottom rail 42F. Accordingly, the roller 9 can be attached to the bottom rail 42F without removing the sliding sash 4F from the frame 2. As described above, in performing maintenance of the roller 9, the roller 9 can be attached to or removed from the bottom rail 42F without removing the sliding sash 4F from the frame 2, so that maintenance of the roller 9 can be easily performed.

[0261] Next, a fitting 1A of an eighth embodiment will be described. Whereas the fitting 1 of the first embodiment illustrated in FIG. 1 is configured by including the sliding sash 4 of a single-sliding type, the fitting 1A of the eighth embodiment is configured by including two sliding sashes 3X and 4X of a double-sliding type.
