[25] In an embodiment of this application, a method for controlling fracturing operation is provided for application in a fracturing operation scenario. In particular, the method may be applied to intelligent control of on-site equipment during a fracturing operation. For example, during the fracturing operation, information about a fracturing operation site may be acquired, to determine an operation instruction for an operation apparatus, and further intelligently control the operation apparatus.

[26] The method for controlling fracturing operation according to an embodiment of this application may be performed by a control apparatus. The control apparatus may be an electronic apparatus, or may include multiple electronic apparatuses. In other words, a method for controlling fracturing operation according to an embodiment of this application may be performed by an electronic apparatus. The electronic apparatus may include, for example, an intelligent fracturing decision-making command apparatus; or a terminal apparatus, such as a desktop computer, a notebook computer, a mobile phone, a tablet computer, or the like; or a server, such as an independent physical server, a server cluster including multiple servers, or a cloud server capable of performing cloud computing. When a method for controlling fracturing operation according to an embodiment of this application is performed by multiple electronic apparatuses, the multiple electronic apparatuses may form a service cluster and cooperate with each other to perform various steps.

[27] The following illustrates in detail methods for controlling fracturing operation according to embodiments of this application by using specific example embodiments and application scenarios thereof with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[28] Referring to FIG. 1, FIG. 1 is a flowchart of a method for controlling fracturing operation according to an embodiment of this application. As shown in FIG. 1, the method includes the following steps.

[29] Step 110: A control apparatus acquires operation information of an operation apparatus at a fracturing operation site.

[30] In this embodiment of the application, the control apparatus may be an instrumentation device at the fracturing operation site. The control apparatus may include a data collection module, and the data collection module may be configured to acquire the operation information of the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site. The operation apparatus may be various apparatuses at the fracturing operation site, and may include apparatuses such as a fracturing pump set, a wellhead manifold, a proppant blending apparatus, hydration equipment, a proppant conveying apparatus, a water supply tank group, a proppant supply tank group, and a low-pressure manifold, etc. The operation information may include information such as a rheological parameter of fracturing fluid, an operation pressure, an injection rate, a wellbore parameter (e.g., a measurement depth, an inner diameter, a hole deviation angle, an azimuth angle, and a temperature), a type of proppant, a flow rate of proppant, a state of proppant blending, an accumulated amount of proppant, a remaining amount of proppant, an amount of liquid, and a valve opening degree of a wellhead manifold. The operation apparatus may report the operation information of the operation apparatus in real time during the fracturing operation, and thereby, the control apparatus may acquire the real-time operation information of the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site.

[31] In an embodiment of this application, the control apparatus may include an apparatus operation parameter management module. The apparatus operation parameter management module may be configured to intuitively display, in real time, operation parameter(s) of the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site and an operation state of the operation apparatus.

[32] Step 120: The control apparatus acquires an operation effect of the operation apparatus based on the operation information.

[33] In this embodiment of this application, the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site may report the operation information of the operation apparatus in real time, and after receiving the operation information, the control apparatus may acquire the operation effect of the operation apparatus from the operation information. The operation effect of the operation apparatus may be determined based on the information in the operation information, such as a rheological parameter of the fracturing fluid, an operation pressure, an injection rate, a wellbore parameter, a type of proppant, a flow rate of proppant, etc. The operation effect may include the operation pressure at the fracturing operation site.

[34] In an embodiment of this application, the operation effect acquired by the control apparatus may be used to monitor the fracturing operation at the operation site, to monitor whether an adjustment needs to be performed at the operation site, to ensure that a current fracturing operation task can be successfully performed.

[35] Step 130: The control apparatus acquires target information of the operation apparatus. The target information includes at least one of: safety information related to the fracturing operation site of the operation apparatus, health diagnosis information of the operation apparatus, or abnormality alarm information of the operation apparatus.

[36] In this embodiment of this application, the safety information related to the fracturing operation site of the operation apparatus may include manifold leakage identification information, personnel intrusion identification information in a high-pressure area, and high-temperature or fire early warning information. Specifically, a sensor (e.g., a temperature sensor), a camera, and the like may be arranged at the fracturing operation site. The temperature sensor is used to determine the high temperature or fire early warning information at the fracturing operation site, and the camera is used to determine whether there is personnel intrusion in the high-pressure area (an area with a relatively high operation pressure) at the fracturing operation site.

[37] In an embodiment of this application, whether an unsafe behavior exists at the fracturing operation site, and whether the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site is in an unsafe state, may be determined by collecting the safety information related to the fracturing operation site of the operation apparatus. The control apparatus acquires the safety information related to the fracturing operation site of the operation apparatus, to ensure safety of the fracturing operation site, and avoid potential safety hazards.

[38] In an embodiment of this application, the health diagnosis information of the operation apparatus may be state monitoring information and fault monitoring information of key operation apparatuses at the fracturing operation site. Specifically, the health diagnosis information of the operation apparatus may include at least one of: health diagnosis information of a plunger pump, health diagnosis information of a motor, health diagnosis information of a centrifugal pump and a proppant auger, and the like. Sensors (e.g., a vibration sensor, a pressure sensor, etc.) may be arranged at the fracturing operation site to monitor the states of key operation apparatuses such as the plunger pump, the motor, the centrifugal pump, and the proppant auger.

[39] In an embodiment of this application, the abnormality alarm information of the operation apparatus may be state alarm information of the operation apparatus during a fracturing operation. Specifically, the operation apparatus may send pressure early warning information or high temperature early warning information to the control apparatus when a pressure of the operation apparatus exceeds a preset pressure threshold, or a temperature of the operation apparatus exceeds a preset temperature threshold.

[40] Step 140: The control apparatus determines an operation instruction for the operation apparatus based on the operation effect and the target information.

[41] In an embodiment of this application, the control apparatus may include an operation decision-making module, and the operation decision-making module may be configured to perform autonomous decision-making on the fracturing operation based on the acquired information related to the fracturing operation site (e.g., the operation effect and the target information of the operation apparatus), and determine the operation instruction for the operation apparatus.

[42] In an embodiment of this application, after acquiring the operation effect of the operation apparatus and at least one piece of the target information (the safety information related to the fracturing operation site of the operation apparatus, the health diagnosis information of the operation apparatus, and the abnormality alarm information of the operation apparatus), the control apparatus may make a comprehensive decision based on the at least two pieces of information, and determine the operation instruction for the operation apparatus. The operation instruction may include instructions such as a proppant amount hold instruction, an injection rate hold instruction, a proppant ratio reduction instruction, a proppant stop instruction, an injection rate reduction instruction, and a shutdown instruction, etc. In addition, the operation instruction for the operation apparatus may include an operation apparatus parameter related to the operation instruction. For example, when the operation instruction is a proppant amount reduction instruction, the operation instruction may include a specific parameter of the proppant amount reduction.

[43] In an embodiment of this application, the operation instruction for the operation apparatus may be determined based on the operation effect and any one piece of the target information (the safety information related to the fracturing operation site of the operation apparatus, the health diagnosis information of the operation apparatus, and the abnormality alarm information of the operation apparatus). Alternatively, the operation instruction for the operation apparatus may be determined based on the operation effect and any two pieces of information of the target information. Alternatively, the operation instruction for the operation apparatus may be determined based on the operation effect, the safety information related to the fracturing operation site of the operation apparatus, the health diagnosis information of the operation apparatus, and the abnormality alarm information of the operation apparatus.

[44] In an embodiment of this application, the operation instruction includes an operation flow switching instruction, and the operation flow switching instruction is configured to instruct the operation apparatus to perform operation flow switching. The control apparatus acquiring the operation information of the operation apparatus at the operation site includes: the control apparatus receiving real-time operation data transmitted by the operation apparatus at the operation site. The control apparatus determining the operation instruction for the operation apparatus based on the operation effect and the target information includes: the control apparatus determining whether the operation apparatus meets an operation switching condition based on the real-time operation data and the target information; and the control apparatus generating the operation flow switching instruction when the operation apparatus meets the operation switching condition.

[45] In an embodiment of this application, the control apparatus may include a complete flow control and process visualization module. The complete flow control and process visualization module is configured to control a fracturing operation flow at the operation site and visualize real-time operation data of apparatuses (including a high-pressure apparatus and a low-pressure apparatus) at the operation site. Specifically, before a fracturing operation starts, managerial personnel may select to start a fracturing operation flow via the complete flow control and process visualization module. In addition, a certain fracturing operation flow may also be selected to control on-site equipment. The fracturing operation flow may include a pressure test flow, a circulation and draining flow, and the like.

[46] In the complete flow control and process visualization module, a stage data table of a fracturing operation technology may be preset. The stage data table describes parameter(s) of the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site in each flow, and content of the stage data table may be determined based on experiences of historical fracturing operations.

[47] In an embodiment of this application, the control apparatus acquires the operation data of the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site in real time. When the control apparatus determines that the current operation data of the operation apparatus meets an operation switching condition, the control apparatus may generate the operation flow switching instruction. The operation flow switching instruction may include related parameter(s) of the operation apparatus in a next operation flow. The operation switching condition may be determined based on the stage data table.

[48] In this embodiment of this application, the operation data of the fracturing operation site may be acquired in real time by the control apparatus. When the operation data meets the operation switching condition, the operation flow switching instruction is determined, to control the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site to perform the next flow of the fracturing operation. Personnel are not required to check whether to enter the next flow of the fracturing operation in the complete process, and the complete process of the fracturing operation may be performed autonomously.

[49] In an embodiment of this application, referring to FIG. 2, the control apparatus may include a complete flow control and process visualization module, an apparatus operation parameter management module, an operation decision-making module, and a data collection module.

[50] Step 150: The control apparatus sends the operation instruction to the operation apparatus, and the operation instruction is used to control an operation task of the operation apparatus.

[51] In an embodiment of this application, after determining the operation instruction, the control apparatus may control (e.g., reduce a proppant ratio, reduce an injection rate, and shut down) an apparatus at the fracturing operation site via the operation instruction.

[52] In an embodiment of this application, the control apparatus sending the operation instruction to the operation apparatus in step 150 includes: the control apparatus sending the operation instruction to a control center, so that the control center acquires a target operation instruction based on the operation instruction, and the target operation instruction is used to directly control an operation of the operation apparatus.

[53] In an embodiment of this application, the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site may be further controlled by the control center. Specifically, after determining the operation instruction for the operation apparatus, the control apparatus may send the operation instruction to the control center, and the control center further determines, based on the operation instruction, the target operation instruction for directly controlling the operation of the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site. For example, when the operation instruction is a proppant amount reduction instruction, and the operation instruction includes a specific parameter of the proppant amount reduction. The control center may acquire the proppant amount reduction instruction and the specific parameter of the proppant amount reduction. Based on this, a current proppant amount reduction instruction may be allocated to a specific operation apparatus to execute the current proppant amount reduction instruction, namely, the target operation instruction is determined, and the target operation instruction directly controls an operation of the specific operation apparatus.

[54] In an embodiment of this application, the control center may directly control the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site, and determine the operation of the operation apparatus in more detail, so that the operation instruction sent by the control apparatus is successfully executed.

[55] In an embodiment of this application, the control apparatus acquires the operation information of the operation apparatus at the operation site. The control apparatus acquires the operation effect of the operation apparatus based on the operation information. The control apparatus acquires the target information of the operation apparatus, and the target information includes at least one of: the safety information related to the operation site of the operation apparatus, the health diagnosis information of the operation apparatus, or the abnormality alarm information of the operation apparatus. The control apparatus determines the operation instruction for the operation apparatus based on the operation effect and the target information. The control apparatus sends the operation instruction to the operation apparatus, and the operation instruction is configured to control the operation task of the operation apparatus. In this way, based on the operation effect of the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site and at least one of the safety information related to the fracturing operation site of the operation apparatus, the health diagnosis information of the operation apparatus, or the abnormality alarm information of the operation apparatus, the control apparatus may determine the operation instruction for the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site, and control the operation task of the operation apparatus by the operation instruction. The operation instruction for the operation apparatus may be determined by at least two pieces of information of the operation site, to improve accuracy of the operation instruction. In addition, the complete process may be executed by the control apparatus without manual intervention, thereby solving a problem of relatively high labor costs in a related technology.

[56] Referring to FIG. 3, FIG. 3 is a flowchart of a method for controlling fracturing operation according to an embodiment of this application. As shown in FIG. 3, the method includes the following steps.

[57] Step 310: A control apparatus acquires operation information of an operation apparatus at an operation site.

[58] Step 320: The control apparatus acquires an operation effect of the operation apparatus based on the operation information.

[59] Step 330: The control apparatus acquires target information of the operation apparatus, and the target information includes at least one of: safety information related to the operation site of the operation apparatus, health diagnosis information of the operation apparatus, or abnormality alarm information of the operation apparatus.

[60] Step 340: The control apparatus determines an operation instruction for the operation apparatus based on the operation effect and the target information.

[61] Step 350: The control apparatus sends the operation instruction to a control center.

[62] In an embodiment of this application, the control center may be configured to further directly manage the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site. The control apparatus sends the operation instruction to the control center, and the control center may further deliver the operation instruction to the operation apparatus corresponding to the operation instruction.

[63] Exemplarily, in an embodiment of this application, the operation apparatus includes M first operation apparatuses, and the control center includes M first control modules each for a corresponding one of the M first operation apparatuses. Each control module is configured to control its corresponding first operation apparatus, and M is a positive integer.

[64] In an embodiment of this application, the first operation apparatuses may include a proppant blending apparatus, hydration equipment, a proppant conveying apparatus, a water supply tank group, a proppant supply tank group, and a low-pressure manifold. Each first operation apparatus may correspond to a first control module. Specifically, the proppant blending apparatus may correspond to a proppant blending coordinated control module, the hydration equipment may correspond to a hydration coordinated control module, the proppant conveying apparatus may correspond to a proppant conveying coordinated control module, the water supply tank group may correspond to a liquid tank coordinated control module, the proppant supply tank group may correspond to a proppant tank coordinated control module, and the low-pressure manifold may correspond to a low-pressure manifold remote-control module.

[65] In an embodiment of this application, the control center includes the M first control modules each for a corresponding one of the M first operation apparatuses, and each control module is configured to control its corresponding first operation apparatus. In this way, cluster control of the M first operation apparatuses may be implemented, and each first control module controls one first operation apparatus, so that the M first operation apparatuses may be effectively managed and controlled.

[66] Exemplarily, in an embodiment of this application, the operation apparatus includes P first operation apparatuses located in a first apparatus area and Q second operation apparatuses located in a second apparatus area. Both P and Q are positive integers, and a pressure at which the first operation apparatuses perform a fracturing operation is less than a pressure at which the second operation apparatuses perform a fracturing operation. The operation instruction includes a first operation instruction and / or a second operation instruction. The control center includes a first control center and a second control center.

[67] In an embodiment of this application, an operation apparatus may be divided into a high-pressure apparatus and a low-pressure apparatus according to a pressure at which the operation apparatus performs operation at the fracturing operation site. For example, in an actual operation process of a fracturing unit, a remote-control hydraulic station, and a wellhead manifold, pressures generally reach 50 MPa, or even nearly 100 MPa, which are relatively high. In an actual operation process of apparatuses such as a proppant blending apparatus, hydration equipment, a proppant conveying apparatus, a water supply tank group, a proppant supply tank group, and a low-pressure manifold, operation pressures are relatively low.

[68] In an embodiment of this application, the first apparatus area may be a low-pressure apparatus area, and the first operation apparatuses may be low-pressure apparatuses (which may include the apparatuses such as the proppant blending apparatus, the hydration equipment, the proppant conveying apparatus, the water supply tank group, the proppant supply tank group, and the low-pressure manifold). The second apparatus area may be a high-pressure apparatus area, and the second operation apparatuses may be high-pressure apparatuses (which may include the apparatuses such as the fracturing unit, the remote-control hydraulic station, and the wellhead manifold). The first control center may be a low-pressure system control center, the second control center may be a high-pressure system control center, and the first control center and the second control center may be respectively configured to control the apparatuses in the first apparatus area and the second apparatus area.

[69] In an embodiment of this application, during a fracturing operation, an operation instruction determined by the control apparatus may be configured to control a low-pressure apparatus and / or a high-pressure apparatus. Specifically, referring to FIG. 4, the control apparatus may send the operation instruction to a data command forwarding server, and the data and command forwarding server converts the operation instruction into a first operation instruction for controlling the low-pressure apparatus and / or a second operation instruction for controlling the high-pressure apparatus. The first operation instruction is transmitted to the first control center, and the second operation instruction is transmitted to the second control center.

[70] Step 360: The control center acquires a target operation instruction based on the operation instruction, where the target operation instruction is used to directly control an operation of the operation apparatus, and the control center is located on a transmission path between the control apparatus and the operation apparatus.

[71] In an embodiment of this application, the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site may be further controlled by the control center. Specifically, after determining the operation instruction for the operation apparatus, the control apparatus may send the operation instruction to the control center, and the control center further determines, based on the operation instruction, a target operation instruction for directly controlling the operation of the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site. For example, when the operation instruction is a proppant amount reduction instruction, the operation instruction includes a specific parameter of the proppant amount reduction.

[72] In an embodiment of this application, the operation instruction includes a first operation instruction and / or a second operation instruction. The control center includes a first control center and a second control center. The control center acquiring the target operation instruction based on the operation instruction in step 360 includes: the first control center acquiring a first target operation instruction based on the first operation instruction, and the first target operation instruction is configured to directly control an operation of at least one first operation apparatus of the P first operation apparatuses, where the first control center is in communication connection with the P first operation apparatuses; or the second control center acquiring a second target operation instruction based on the second operation instruction, and the second target operation instruction is configured to directly control an operation of at least one second operation apparatus of the Q second operation apparatuses, where the second control center is in communication connection with the Q second operation apparatuses.

[73] In an embodiment of this application, referring to FIG. 5, the first control center may be a low-pressure system control center, and the low-pressure system control center may include a proppant blending coordinated control module, a hydration coordinated control module, a proppant conveying coordinated control module, a proppant tank coordinated control module, a liquid tank coordinated control module, and a low-pressure manifold remote-control module. A dedicated intelligent control module may be arranged in the low-pressure system control center. The dedicated intelligent control module may convert, based on a first operation instruction sent by the control apparatus, the first operation instruction into a first target operation control instruction for controlling a first operation apparatus corresponding to a first control module. Multiple first target operation control instructions may be generated, so that the operation of at least one first operation apparatus of the P first operation apparatuses may be directly controlled by the first target operation control instructions.

[74] In an embodiment of this application, referring to FIG. 6, the second control center may be a high-pressure system control center. The second operation apparatuses include a fracturing unit, a wellhead valve, and a remote-control hydraulic station. The high-pressure system control center may include a fracturing pump set control module, an automatic injection rate control module, an automatic circulation / draining control module, and a wellhead manifold remote-control module. The wellhead manifold remote-control module may be configured to acquire a second target operation control instruction based on the second operation instruction, and the second target operation control instruction may be a wellhead manifold valve control instruction. The wellhead manifold remote-control module may perform opening / closing control on a wellhead or a manifold valve in the high-pressure apparatus area via the wellhead manifold valve control instruction.

[75] In an embodiment of this application, the second control center includes a first control module and a second control module. The second operation apparatuses include a fracturing unit. The second control center acquiring the second target operation instruction based on the second operation instruction includes: the first control module generating a fracturing pump control instruction based on an apparatus parameter in the second operation instruction, and transmitting the fracturing pump control instruction to the second control module; and the second control module controlling a fracturing operation of the fracturing unit based on the fracturing pump control instruction.

[76] In an embodiment of this application, the first control module may include an automatic injection rate control module and an automatic circulation / draining control module, and the second control module may include a fracturing pump set control module. Specifically, the automatic injection rate control module may include a dedicated intelligent automatic injection rate allocation algorithm module. When the second control center receives the second operation instruction, the automatic injection rate control module may receive an injection rate control instruction as well as injection rate and pressure protection data. The automatic injection rate control module may convert the injection rate control instruction and the injection rate and pressure protection data into a fracturing pump control instruction by the dedicated intelligent automatic injection allocation algorithm module, and transmit the fracturing pump control instruction to the fracturing pump set control module.

[77] In an embodiment of this application, after the fracturing pump control module receives the fracturing pump control instruction transmitted by the automatic injection rate control module, the fracturing pump control module may directly control the fracturing unit (including an electric fracturing unit, a diesel fracturing unit, and a turbo fracturing pump unit) in the high-pressure apparatus area to perform intelligent automatic injection rate allocation cruise.

[78] In addition, when the second control center receives the second operation instruction, the automatic circulation / draining control module may receive an automatic circulation / draining flow control command and data such as an injection rate and a duration. The automatic circulation / draining control module may determine an automatic circulation or draining control instruction, i.e., a fracturing pump control instruction, for a fracturing pump based on the automatic circulation / draining flow control command and the data such as the injection rate and the duration, and transmit the fracturing pump control instruction to the fracturing pump control module.

[79] In an embodiment of this application, after the fracturing pump control module receives the fracturing pump control instruction transmitted by the automatic circulation / draining control module, the fracturing pump control module may directly control the fracturing unit (including the electric fracturing unit, the diesel fracturing unit, and the turbo fracturing pump unit) in the high-pressure apparatus area to perform an automatic circulation or draining control flow.

[80] In this embodiment of this application, the control apparatus sends the operation instruction to the control center. The control center acquires the target operation instruction based on the operation instruction. The target operation instruction is used to directly control the operation of the operation apparatus, and the control center is located on the transmission path between the control apparatus and the operation apparatus. In this way, the control center may directly control the operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site, and determine the operation of each operation apparatus at the fracturing operation site in more detail, so that the operation instruction sent by the control apparatus may be successfully executed.

[92] In an embodiment of this application, the operation apparatus includes P first operation apparatuses located in a first apparatus area and Q second operation apparatuses located in a second apparatus area. Both P and Q are positive integers, and a pressure at which the first operation apparatuses perform a fracturing operation is less than a pressure at which the second operation apparatuses perform a fracturing operation. The operation instruction includes a first operation instruction and / or a second operation instruction.

[93] Step 750: The control apparatus sends the first operation instruction to the first control center.

[94] Step 760: The first control center acquires a first target operation instruction based on the first operation instruction, and the first target operation instruction is configured to directly control an operation of at least one first operation apparatus of the P first operation apparatuses.
