ENVIRONMENT DETECTION METHOD AND RELATED APPARATUS

[0001] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202410396147.0, filed with the China National Intellectual Property Administration on March 30, 2024 and entitled "ENVIRONMENT DETECTION METHOD AND RELATED APPARATUS", which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.TECHNICAL FIELD

[0002] This application relates to the field of automobile technologies, and in particular, to an environment detection method and a related apparatus.BACKGROUND

[0003] In a scenario in which a vehicle is parked, there may be instances of scratches or collisions occurring on the vehicle, potentially causing damage to the vehicle. In an area without surveillance, it is difficult or impossible for a vehicle owner to obtain proof materials. To protect vehicle parking safety and protect rights and interests of the vehicle owner, when a risk on the vehicle is detected, the vehicle owner can be notified and a video around the vehicle can be saved. However, power consumption for implementing the function in an existing design is high. Therefore, how to design a solution with low power consumption and high detection accuracy becomes a problem to be urgently resolved currently.SUMMARY

[0004] Embodiments of this application provide an environment detection method and a related apparatus, to reduce power consumption when a safety guard function is enabled.

[0005] According to a first aspect, an embodiment of this application provides an environment detection method, and the method may be performed by a detection unit. The detection unit may be a device, or may be a chip (system) or a circuit used for the device. This is not limited in this application. In the method, when a vehicle is in a parking state, a detection unit obtains first environment data, and performs environment detection based on the first environment data. When detecting a first trigger event, the detection unit may send a first wakeup signal and second environment data to a compute unit. The second environment data includes the first environment data and / or a data processing result obtained based on the first environment data. In this embodiment of this application, when the vehicle is in the parking state, the detection unit is in a powered state (or referred to as in an operating state), and before receiving the first wakeup signal, the compute unit is in a sleep state. In the method, the detection unit with low always-on power consumption wakes up the compute unit with higher power consumption, to perform accurate detection. This ensures detection accuracy of an environment safety detection function, and facilitates reduction of power consumption.

[0006] In a possible implementation, the power consumption of the detection unit is lower than the power consumption of the compute unit during operation after the compute unit is woken up.

[0007] In a possible implementation, the first environment data includes a vibration signal from an acceleration sensor.

[0008] The method further includes:

[0009] When the vibration signal exceeds a first vibration threshold, the detection unit determines that the first trigger event is detected.

[0010] In this implementation, when preliminarily identifying a vibration event that may cause danger, the detection unit can wake up the compute unit to perform more accurate detection, thereby enhancing operability.

[0011] In a possible implementation, the first environment data includes sensing data from an environment sensor.

[0012] The method further includes:

[0013] The detection unit determines, based on the sensing data, whether a moving object exists around the vehicle.

[0014] When determining that the moving object exists around the vehicle, the detection unit determines that the first trigger event is detected.

[0015] In this implementation, when detecting that the object approaches an area around the vehicle, the detection unit can wake up the compute unit to perform more accurate detection, thereby enhancing operability.

[0016] In a possible implementation, the detection unit includes a sensing data processing module and a vibration signal processing module, and the first environment data includes a vibration signal from an acceleration sensor and sensing data from an environment sensor.

[0017] The method further includes:

[0018] The vibration signal processing module sends a second wakeup signal to the sensing data processing module when the vibration signal exceeds a first vibration threshold.

[0019] The sensing data processing module determines, based on the sensing data, whether a moving object exists around the vehicle.

[0020] When determining that the moving object exists around the vehicle, the sensing data processing module determines that the first trigger event is detected.

[0021] Before receiving the second wakeup signal, the sensing data processing module is in the sleep state.

[0022] In this implementation, after detecting vibration, the vibration signal processing module wakes up the sensing data processing module to perform detection through vision and a radar, and finally enables the compute unit. This hierarchical wakeup manner can further reduce the power consumption.

[0023] According to a second aspect, an embodiment of this application provides an environment detection method, and the method may be performed by a compute unit. The compute unit may be a device, or may be a chip (system) or a circuit used for the device. This is not limited in this application. In the method, the compute unit receives a first wakeup signal and second environment data from a detection unit. Therefore, after the compute unit is woken up, the compute unit may determine, based on the second environment data, whether to generate alarm information. It should be understood that the second environment data includes first environment data and / or a data processing result obtained based on the first environment data.

[0024] In this embodiment of this application, the detection unit with low always-on power consumption wakes up the compute unit with higher power consumption, to perform accurate detection. This ensures detection accuracy of an environment safety detection function, and facilitates reduction of power consumption.

[0025] In a possible implementation, the second environment data includes the first environment data and the data processing result obtained based on the first environment data, the first environment data includes sensing data and a vibration signal, the data processing result includes a possible area in which the moving object is located, and the possible area in which the moving object is located is determined based on the sensing data.

[0026] That the compute unit determines, based on the second environment data, whether to generate the alarm information includes:

[0027] The compute unit determines a target moving object based on the sensing data and the possible area in which the moving object is located.

[0028] The compute unit generates the alarm information when a distance between the target moving object and a vehicle is less than or equal to a distance threshold, and / or vibration intensity of the vehicle is greater than or equal to a second vibration threshold.

[0029] The compute unit re-enters a sleep state when the distance between the target moving object and the vehicle is greater than the distance threshold, and the vibration intensity of the vehicle is less than the second vibration threshold.

[0030] The vibration intensity of the vehicle is determined based on the vibration signal.

[0031] In this implementation, when detecting a dangerous event, the compute unit generates the alarm information, to remind a user in time. When detecting no dangerous event, the compute unit re-enters the sleep state, which facilitates the reduction of the power consumption.

[0032] In a possible implementation, that the compute unit determines the target moving object based on the sensing data and the possible area in which the moving object is located includes:

[0033] The compute unit determines, based on the sensing data, an area in which at least one object of interest is located.

[0039] When the vibration intensity of the vehicle is greater than or equal to a vibration threshold, or the distance between the target moving object and the vehicle is less than or equal to the distance threshold, and the vibration intensity of the vehicle is greater than or equal to the second vibration threshold, the target alarm severity is a second alarm severity.

[0040] In this implementation, different alarm severities may be set to indicate severity levels of different alarms, and the severity levels of the different alarms further reflect severity levels of dangerous events that occur on the vehicle, thereby helping remind a vehicle owner to check a vehicle condition in time.

[00151] In addition, in a process of performing the method according to any one of the first aspect to the third aspect and the possible implementations of the first aspect to the third aspect, a process of sending information and / or receiving information in the foregoing method may be understood as a process in which a processor outputs information, and / or a process in which the processor receives input information. When outputting the information, the processor may output the information to a transceiver (or a communication interface or a sending module), so that the transceiver transmits the information. After the information is output by the processor, other processing may further need to be performed on the information before the information arrives at the transceiver. Similarly, when the processor receives the input information, the transceiver (or the communication interface or the sending module) receives the information, and inputs the information into the processor. Further, after the transceiver receives the information, other processing may need to be performed on the information before the information is input into the processor.

[00152] According to the foregoing principle, for example, sending the information in the foregoing method may be understood as outputting the information by the processor. For another example, receiving the information may be understood as receiving the input information by the processor.

[00153] Optionally, operations such as transmission, sending, and receiving related to the processor may be more generally understood as operations such as output, receiving, and input of the processor, unless otherwise specified, or provided that the operations do not contradict actual functions or internal logic of the operations in related descriptions.

[00154] Optionally, in a process of performing the method according to any one of the first aspect to the third aspect and the possible implementations of the first aspect to the third aspect, the processor may be a processor specially configured to perform these methods, or may be a processor, for example, a general-purpose processor, that performs these methods by executing computer instructions in a memory. The memory may be a non-transitory (non-transitory) memory, for example, a read-only memory (read-only memory, ROM). The memory and the processor may be integrated on a same chip, or may be separately disposed on different chips. A type of the memory and a manner of disposing the memory and the processor are not limited in embodiments of this application.

[00155] In a possible implementation, at least one memory is located outside an apparatus.

[00156] In another possible implementation, at least one memory is located inside an apparatus.

[00157] In still another possible implementation, some memories in at least one memory are located inside an apparatus, and the other memories are located outside the apparatus.

[00158] In this application, the processor and the memory may alternatively be integrated into one device. In other words, the processor and the memory may alternatively be integrated together.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

[00169] The following describes embodiments of this application with reference to the accompanying drawings in embodiments of this application. It should be noted that in this application, terms such as "example" or "for example" represent giving an example, an illustration, or a description. Any embodiment or design scheme described as an "example" or "for example" in this application should not be construed as being more preferred or having more advantages than another embodiment or design scheme. Exactly, use of the word like "example" or "for example" is intended to present a related concept in a specific manner.

[00170] In embodiments of this application, "at least one" means one or more, and "a plurality of" means two or more. "At least one of the following items (pieces)" or a similar expression thereof indicates any combination of these items, including a single item (piece) or any combination of a plurality of items (pieces). For example, at least one item (piece) of a, b, or c may indicate: a, b, c, (a and b), (a and c), (b and c), or (a, b, and c), where a, b, and c may be singular or plural. The term "and / or" describes an association relationship between associated objects, and indicates that three relationships may exist. For example, A and / or B may indicate the following three cases: Only A exists, both A and B exist, and only B exists, where A and B may be singular or plural. The character " / " generally indicates an "or" relationship between the associated objects.

[00171] In addition, unless otherwise stated, ordinal numbers such as "first" and "second" in embodiments of this application are for differentiation between a plurality of objects, but are not intended to limit an order, a time sequence, priorities, or importance degrees of the plurality of objects. For example, a first message and a second message are merely used to distinguish between different message types, but do not indicate different structures, importance degrees, or the like of the two messages.

[00172] Some terms in this application are first described, to help a person skilled in the art have a better understanding.

[00173] 1. Safety guard function

[00174] The safety guard function is a function that detects a safety status of a vehicle via an onboard sensor when the vehicle is parked and that notifies a vehicle owner and records related environment information when determining potential threats such as damage or intrusion.

[00175] 2. Sensor

[00176] Sensors in embodiments of this application include an acceleration sensor (or referred to as a vibration sensor, a vibrating sensor, or the like) and environment sensors. The environment sensors may include a visual sensor, a radar sensor, and / or the like, which are not limited. For example, the visual sensor includes a fisheye camera, an eagle eye camera, a monocular camera, a binocular camera, a four-channel camera, and the like. This is not limited herein. The radar sensor may include radio detection and ranging (radio detection and ranging, Radar), light detection and ranging (light detection and ranging, LiDAR), a millimeter-wave radar, an ultrasonic radar, and the like. This is not limited herein.

[00177] In real life, after a driver parks and leaves a vehicle, sometimes there may be instances of scratches or collisions occurring on the vehicle. A safety guard function is introduced to meet a requirement of vehicle safety detecting after the driver leaves the vehicle. With the safety guard function enabled, onboard sensors detect a safety status of the vehicle, generate warnings when predefined events occur, and record sensed data. This helps vehicle owners protect their rights and interests, and reduce their losses. In related technologies, intelligent driving (intelligent driving domain for short) sensors and analysis capabilities are usually used to implement the safety guard function. Because an intelligent driving algorithm module is reused, the intelligent driving algorithm module needs to be run when the safety guard function is run. Consequently, computational power consumption is high, and power consumption is also high. How to design a solution with low power consumption and high detection accuracy becomes a problem to be urgently resolved currently.

[00178] In view of this, this application provides an environment detection method, to reduce vehicle power consumption and facilitate improvement of user experience.

[00179] For example, FIG. 1 is a diagram of a system architecture to which an embodiment of this application is applicable. As shown in FIG. 1, the system includes a mobile data center (mobile data center, MDC) and a cockpit domain controller (cockpit domain controller, CDC). The MDC includes a four-channel camera, an ultrasonic radar, an acceleration sensor, a microcontroller unit (microcontroller unit, MCU), a system on chip (system on chip, SoC), and the like. The SoC is connected to the four-channel camera, the acceleration sensor and the ultrasonic radar are connected to the MCU, and the MCU is connected to the SoC. Through deployment of lightweight vibration detection and radar detection algorithms on the MCU, high-power-consumption components such as the SoC and the CDC do not need to be always on during running of a safety guard function. Specifically, the MCU may be always on, and receive vibration information collected by the acceleration sensor to perform vibration detection, or receive a radar signal collected by the radar to perform radar detection. If the MCU identifies vibration that may cause a threat to the vehicle or an object near the vehicle, the MCU wakes up the SoC to perform detection with higher precision. After the SoC is woken up, the SoC receives a video data stream collected by the four-channel camera and vibration and radar detection information provided by the MCU. After the video data stream and the vibration and radar detection information are processed according to algorithms such as a motion frame detection algorithm, a radar detection algorithm, a vibration detection algorithm, and a person-vehicle artificial intelligence (artificial intelligence, AI) detection algorithm, the SoC determines whether a dangerous event occurs. If it is determined that an event that causes damage to the vehicle occurs, alarm information is sent to the CDC. In addition, the CDC may flush a video corresponding to the dangerous event to a disk. It should be understood that the lightweight vibration detection and radar detection algorithms are deployed on the MCU, and the MCU is powered by a small battery (for example, 20 Ah).

[00180] For another example, FIG. 2 is a diagram of another system architecture to which an embodiment of this application is applicable. As shown in FIG. 2, the system includes a four-channel camera, an ultrasonic radar, an acceleration sensor, automatic parking assist (automatic parking assist, APA), an MCU, and a CDC. The APA is connected to the four-channel camera and the ultrasonic radar, the acceleration sensor is connected to the MCU, and both the APA and the MCU are connected to the CDC. Through deployment of a lightweight vibration detection algorithm on the MCU and lightweight visual detection and radar detection algorithms on the APA, a high-power-consumption component such as the CDC does not need to be always on during running of a safety guard function. Specifically, the MCU is always on to obtain and detect a vibration signal collected by the acceleration sensor, and if detecting vibration that may cause a threat to a vehicle, wakes up the CDC to perform further detection with higher precision. In addition, the APA may also perform detection based on sensing data collected by the ultrasonic radar and the four-channel camera. When detecting that there is an approaching object around the vehicle, the APA may also wake up the CDC to perform further detection with higher precision. After the CDC is woken up, the CDC can perform motion frame detection, radar detection, vibration detection, person-vehicle AI detection, and the like on data from the MCU and the APA based on a visual system; use a converged processing system to comprehensively determine a detection result of the visual system; if determining that an event that causes damage to the vehicle occurs, trigger a highlight alarm on a display and remotely pushes the alarm to a user's mobile phone, and finally flush a valid video to a disk of a storage system. It should be understood that both the APA and the MCU may operate independently. Algorithms such as the lightweight visual detection and radar detection algorithms are deployed on the APA, and an algorithm such as the lightweight vibration detection algorithm is deployed on the MCU. Power is supplied by a small battery (for example, 20 Ah).

[00181] It should be noted that "parking" mentioned in this application means that the vehicle stops and is shifted into park. Optionally, parking may also be referred to as stopping sometimes. This is not limited in this application. In addition, being in a powered state may also be understood as being in an operating state.

[00182] The following describes in detail the environment detection method and a related apparatus provided in this application.

[00183] FIG. 3 is a schematic flowchart of an environment detection method according to an embodiment of this application. As shown in FIG. 3, the environment detection method includes the following steps S301 to S303. The method shown in FIG. 3 may be performed by a vehicle, or the method shown in FIG. 3 may be performed by a chip, an in-vehicle component, or the like that is deployed with detection software in the vehicle. For example, the detection software may be deployed in an in-vehicle component (or a chip) such as a CDC, an MDC, an APA, or an MCU of the vehicle. This is not limited in this application. For ease of description, in FIG. 3, an example in which the in-vehicle component deployed with the detection software in the vehicle performs the method is mainly used for description. Specifically, the vehicle component may be a detection unit, a compute unit, a control unit, or the like. It should be noted that FIG. 3 is a schematic flowchart of a method embodiment of this application, and shows detailed communication steps or operations of the method. However, these steps or operations are merely examples. Variants of various operations in FIG. 3 or other operations may be further performed in embodiments of this application. In addition, the steps in FIG. 3 may be separately performed in a sequence different from that shown in FIG. 3, and possibly, not all the operations in FIG. 3 need to be performed.

[00184] S301: When the vehicle is in a parking state, the detection unit obtains first environment data, and performs environment detection based on the first environment data.

[00185] In some feasible implementations, when the vehicle is in the parking state, a sensor deployed on the vehicle continuously collects the first environment data around the vehicle, and sends the collected first environment data to the detection unit. Correspondingly, after receiving the first environment data from the sensor, the detection unit may perform environment detection based on the obtained first environment data. When the vehicle is in the parking state, the detection unit is in a powered state, and before receiving a first wakeup signal, the compute unit is in a sleep state. In addition, power consumption of the detection unit is lower than power consumption of the compute unit during operation after the compute unit is woken up.

[00186] In a possible implementation (1), if the system architecture shown in FIG. 1 is used, the detection unit may be specifically the MCU, and sensors connected to the MCU may include an acceleration sensor and a radar sensor, that is, the acceleration sensor and the radar sensor are communicatively connected to the MCU. First environment data collected by the acceleration sensor is a vibration signal, and first environment data collected by the radar sensor is a radar signal. The MCU may determine, based on the vibration signal, whether the vehicle generates abnormal vibration, or may determine, based on the radar signal, whether a moving object exists around the vehicle. Specifically, when vibration intensity indicated by the vibration signal is not less than a first vibration threshold, it may be determined that the vehicle generates the abnormal vibration; or when vibration intensity indicated by the vibration signal is less than a first vibration threshold, it may be determined that the vehicle does not generate the abnormal vibration. It is determined, through radar detection, whether the object approaches the vehicle. For example, when it is determined, based on the radar signal, that a distance between the moving object and the vehicle is less than or equal to a distance threshold (referred to as a first distance threshold below for ease of differentiation), it may be determined that the moving object exists around the vehicle; or when a distance between the moving object and the vehicle is greater than a first distance threshold, it may be determined that no moving object exists around the vehicle. It should be understood that a branch to which the case of "equal to" in embodiments of this application belongs may be determined based on an actual case, and is not limited.

[00187] Generally, if the MCU detects the abnormal vibration and / or detects that the moving object approaches the vehicle, it is considered that a first trigger event is detected. For example, the moving object may be a person, a motor vehicle, a non-motor vehicle, or the like that is in a moving state. This is not limited.

[00188] In a possible implementation (2), if the system architecture shown in FIG. 2 is used, the detection unit may specifically include the MCU and / or the APA. A sensor connected to the MCU may be an acceleration sensor, and a sensor connected to the APA may include an environment sensor. The environment sensor herein may be specifically a visual sensor and / or a radar sensor. For ease of description, an example in which environment sensors include the visual sensor and the radar sensor is used for description below. First environment data collected by the acceleration sensor is a vibration signal, and first environment data collected by the environment sensor is sensing data. For example, both video / picture data collected by the visual sensor and a radar signal collected by the radar sensor may be understood as sensing data. The MCU may determine, based on the vibration signal, whether the vehicle generates abnormal vibration, and the APA may determine, based on the radar signal or the video / picture data, whether a moving object exists around the vehicle. Specifically, the APA may process the radar signal or the video / picture data according to a motion detection algorithm, to determine whether the moving object exists around the vehicle.

[00189] S302: When detecting the first trigger event, the detection unit sends the first wakeup signal and second environment data to the compute unit. Correspondingly, the compute unit receives the first wakeup signal and the second environment data from the detection unit.

[00190] In some feasible implementations, the detection unit may determine, by performing environment detection on the first environment data, whether the first trigger event exists. Generally, when it is determined that the vehicle generates the abnormal vibration and / or that the moving object exists around the vehicle, it may be determined that the first trigger event is detected. Therefore, the detection unit wakes up the calculation unit, and sends the second environment data to the calculation unit. The second environment data includes the first environment data and / or a data processing result obtained based on the first environment data. It should be understood that the first wakeup signal and the second environment data may be sent to the calculation unit together, or may be separately sent to the calculation unit. This is not limited in this application. Correspondingly, for the calculation unit, the first wakeup signal and the second environment data may be received at a time, or may be received separately. This is not limited in this application. In addition, for a compute device, the compute device usually needs to be first woken up, and receives the second environment data.

[00191] For example, the first environment data included in the second environment data may be the sensing data (for example, one or more of the video / picture data or the radar signal) and the vibration signal, and the data processing result includes a possible area in which the moving object is located. The possible area in which the moving object is located may be determined based on the sensing data. For example, the detection unit may process the video / picture data according to a motion frame detection algorithm, to determine the possible area in which the moving object is located. For another example, the detection unit may process the radar signal according to a radar detection algorithm, to determine the possible area in which the moving object is located. For another example, the detection unit may also determine, as the possible area in which the moving object is located, a union set area of a possible area determined based on the video / picture data and a possible area determined based on the radar signal. This is not limited in this application.

[00192] In the possible implementation (1), if the system architecture shown in FIG. 1 is used, the compute unit may be the SoC. In other words, when the MCU detects that the vehicle generates the abnormal vibration or the moving object exists around the vehicle, the MCU can wake up the SoC, and send the second environment data to the SoC. For example, the second environment data may include the vibration signal.

[00193] In the possible implementation (2), if the system architecture shown in FIG. 2 is used, the compute unit may be the CDC. In other words, when the MCU detects that the vehicle generates the abnormal vibration or the APA detects that the moving object exists around the vehicle, the MCU or the APA can wake up the CDC, and send the second environment data to the CDC. For example, the second environment data may include the video / picture data, the vibration signal, the possible area in which the moving object is located, and the like.

[00194] S303: The compute unit determines, based on the second environment data, whether to generate alarm information.

[00195] As described above, the second environment data includes the first environment data and the data processing result obtained based on the first environment data. The first environment data includes the sensing data (for example, the video / picture data and the radar signal) and the vibration signal, and the data processing result includes the possible area in which the moving object is located. In some feasible implementations, the compute unit may process the video / picture data according to an AI detection algorithm, to determine whether an object of interest exists. When the compute unit does not detect any object of interest, the compute unit may re-enter the sleep state. When the compute unit detects at least one object of interest, the compute unit may further determine a target moving object based on an area in which the at least one object of interest is located and the possible area in which the moving object is located. Specifically, when an overlapping degree between an area in which an object of interest is located and the possible area in which the moving object is located is greater than or equal to a preset overlapping degree threshold, the object of interest may be considered as the target moving object. The object of interest may be a person, a motor vehicle, a non-motor vehicle, or the like. This is not limited in this application.

[00196] For example, FIG. 4 is a diagram of a target moving object according to an embodiment of this application. As shown in FIG. 4, video / picture data is processed according to an AI detection algorithm, and four objects of interest may be detected: an object of interest 1, an object of interest 2, an object of interest 3, and an object of interest 4. Because overlapping degrees between a possible area in which a moving object is located and areas in which the object of interest 1, the object of interest 2, and the object of interest 3 are located are all less than a preset overlapping degree threshold, and an overlapping degree between an area in which the object of interest 4 is located and the possible area in which the moving object is located is greater than the preset overlapping degree threshold, the object of interest 4 is the target moving object.

[00197] It may be understood that the compute unit may generate alarm information when a distance between the target moving object and a vehicle is less than or equal to a distance threshold (referred to as a second distance threshold below for ease of differentiation), and / or when vibration intensity of the vehicle indicated by a vibration signal is greater than or equal to a second vibration threshold. The compute unit re-enters a sleep state when the distance between the target moving object and the vehicle is greater than the second distance threshold, and the vibration intensity of the vehicle is less than the second vibration threshold. Generally, a first distance threshold is greater than the second distance threshold, and a first vibration threshold is less than the second vibration threshold.

[00198] Optionally, the alarm information may include a target alarm severity, the target alarm severity is one of a plurality of alarm severities, and the plurality of alarm severities indicate severity levels of the alarm information. For example, the plurality of alarm severities include a first alarm severity and a second alarm severity, where the first alarm severity is lower than the second alarm severity. Specifically, when the distance between the target moving object and the vehicle is less than or equal to the second distance threshold, or the distance between the target moving object and the vehicle is less than or equal to the second distance threshold, and the vibration intensity of the vehicle is less than the second vibration threshold, the target alarm severity is the first alarm severity. When the vibration intensity of the vehicle is greater than or equal to a vibration threshold, or the distance between the target moving object and the vehicle is less than or equal to the second distance threshold, and the vibration intensity of the vehicle is greater than or equal to the second vibration threshold, the target alarm severity is the second alarm severity.

[00199] In the possible implementation (1), if the system architecture shown in FIG. 1 is used, the compute unit may be the SoC. In other words, when the MCU detects that the vehicle generates abnormal vibration, and / or the moving object exists around the vehicle, the MCU can wake up the SoC. After the SoC is woken up, the SoC may generate the alarm information based on second environment data. Optionally, the SoC may further wake up a control unit (for example, the control unit may be a CDC), and send the alarm information to the CDC. For example, the SoC may send a third wakeup signal to the CDC, to wake up the CDC. After receiving the alarm information, the CDC can prompt an alarm based on the alarm information. For example, when the target alarm severity is the first alarm severity, the CDC may display first alarm prompt information via an in-vehicle display device, for example, highlight the prompt on an in-vehicle screen. When the target alarm severity is the second alarm severity, the CDC may send second alarm prompt information to a user terminal. Optionally, the CDC may further push corresponding video / picture data to the user terminal, so that a user can view a vehicle status in time. In addition, the CDC may further store the video / picture data associated with the alarm information (or referred to as flushing the video / picture data associated with the alarm information to a disk). The video / picture data associated with the alarm information herein may be understood as all video / picture data that triggers generation of the alarm information. Optionally, after the CDC stores the video / picture data associated with the alarm information, the CDC may enter the sleep state. Optionally, if the SoC does not receive new second environment data within first duration after generating the alarm information, the SoC enters the sleep state.

[00200] For example, for an implementation process of the foregoing implementation (1), refer to a procedure shown in FIG. 5A and FIG. 5B. S1: When the vehicle is in a parking state, obtain the vibration signal to perform vibration detection, and obtain a radar signal to perform radar detection. S2: When detecting a first trigger event, the MCU sends a first wakeup signal and the second environment data to the SoC. S3: The SoC determines, based on the second environment data, whether to generate the alarm information. The following three branches are included: Branch 1: When the distance between the target moving object and the vehicle is less than or equal to the second distance threshold, but the vibration intensity is less than the second vibration threshold, generate alarm information including the first alarm severity. Branch 2: When the distance between the target moving object and the vehicle is less than or equal to the second distance threshold, and the vibration intensity is greater than or equal to the second vibration threshold, generate alarm information including the second alarm severity. Branch 3: When the distance between the target moving object and the vehicle is greater than the second distance threshold, and the vibration intensity is less than the second vibration threshold, the SoC enters the sleep state. S4: When generating the alarm information, the SoC sends the alarm information to the CDC. S5: The CDC gives a corresponding warning based on the alarm severity, and flushes the video / picture data to the disk. S6: The SoC enters the sleep state. Generally, if the SoC does not receive the new second environment data within the first duration after generating the alarm information, the SoC enters the sleep state. S7: The CDC enters the sleep state. Generally, after the CDC stores the video / picture data associated with the alarm information, the CDC may enter the sleep state.

[00201] In the possible implementation (2), if the system architecture shown in FIG. 2 is used, the compute unit may be the CDC. In other words, when the MCU detects that the vehicle generates abnormal vibration, or the APA detects that the moving object exists around the vehicle, the MCU or the APA can wake up the CDC. After being woken up, the CDC may generate the alarm information based on second environment data, and prompt an alarm based on the alarm information. In addition, the CDC may further store the video / picture data associated with the alarm information. Optionally, after the CDC stores the video / picture data associated with the alarm information, the CDC may re-enter the sleep state, or if the CDC does not receive new second environment data within first duration after generating the alarm information, the CDC enters the sleep state.

[00202] For example, for an implementation process of the foregoing implementation (2), refer to a procedure shown in FIG. 6A and FIG. 6B. S1: When the vehicle is in a parking state, the MCU obtains the vibration signal to perform vibration detection (or, S1': When the vehicle is in the parking state, the APA obtains the radar signal to perform radar detection, or the APA obtains the video / picture data to perform picture detection). S2: When detecting the abnormal vibration, the MCU sends a first wakeup signal and the second environment data to the CDC (or, S2': When detecting that the moving object exists around the vehicle, the APA sends the first wakeup signal and the second environment data to the CDC). S3: The CDC determines, based on the second environment data, whether to generate the alarm information. Branch 3: The CDC enters the sleep state when the distance between the target moving object and the vehicle is greater than the second distance threshold, and the vibration intensity is less than the second vibration threshold. S4: The CDC gives a corresponding warning based on the alarm severity, and flushes the video / picture data to the disk. S5: The CDC enters the sleep state. Generally, after the CDC stores the video / picture data associated with the alarm information, the CDC may re-enter the sleep state, or if the CDC does not receive the new second environment data within the first duration after generating the alarm information, the CDC enters the sleep state.

[00203] In this embodiment of this application, a lightweight vibration detection algorithm or lightweight visual detection and radar detection algorithms are moved to a detection unit (for example, the MCU or the APA) with low power consumption, and a small battery supplies power. The compute unit (for example, the SoC or the CDC) is woken up only when necessary, to run a full detection algorithm, so that the power consumption can be reduced while ensuring detection effect to be accurate.

[00204] FIG. 7 is another schematic flowchart of an environment detection method according to an embodiment of this application. As shown in FIG. 7, the environment detection method includes the following steps S701 to S705. The method shown in FIG. 7 may be performed by a vehicle, or the method shown in FIG. 7 may be performed by a chip, an in-vehicle component, or the like that is deployed with detection software in the vehicle. For example, the detection software may be deployed in an in-vehicle component (or a chip) such as a CDC, an MDC, an APA, or an MCU of the vehicle. This is not limited in this application. For ease of description, in FIG. 7, an example in which in-vehicle components deployed with the detection software in the vehicle perform the method is mainly used for description. Specifically, the vehicle components may be a sensing data processing module, a vibration signal processing module, and a compute unit. It should be understood that, if the system architecture shown in FIG. 2 is used, the vibration signal processing module may be the MCU, the sensing data processing module may be the APA, and the compute unit may be the CDC. This embodiment is mainly described based on the architecture shown in FIG. 2. It should be noted that FIG. 7 is a schematic flowchart of a method embodiment of this application, and shows detailed communication steps or operations of the method. However, these steps or operations are merely examples. Variants of various operations in FIG. 7 or other operations may be further performed in embodiments of this application. In addition, the steps in FIG. 7 may be separately performed in a sequence different from that shown in FIG. 7, and possibly, not all the operations in FIG. 7 need to be performed.

[00205] S701: The MCU determines, based on a vibration signal and a first vibration threshold, whether the vehicle generates abnormal vibration.

[00206] In some feasible implementations, a sensor connected to the MCU may be an acceleration sensor. First environment data collected by the acceleration sensor is the vibration signal, and the MCU may determine, based on the vibration signal from the acceleration sensor and the first vibration threshold, whether the vehicle generates the abnormal vibration. Specifically, when vibration intensity indicated by the vibration signal is not less than the first vibration threshold, the MCU may determine that the vehicle generates the abnormal vibration; or when vibration intensity indicated by the vibration signal is less than the first vibration threshold, the MCU may determine that the vehicle does not generate the abnormal vibration.

[00207] S702: When determining that the vehicle generates the abnormal vibration, the MCU sends a second wakeup signal to the APA. Correspondingly, the APA receives the second wakeup signal from the MCU.

[00208] In some feasible implementations, a sensor connected to the APA may include an environment sensor. The environment sensor herein may be specifically a visual sensor and / or a radar sensor. For ease of description, an example in which environment sensors include the visual sensor and the radar sensor is used for description below. First environment data collected by the environment sensor is sensing data. For example, both video / picture data collected by the visual sensor and a radar signal collected by the radar sensor may be understood as sensing data.

[00209] It should be noted that when the MCU determines that the vehicle generates the abnormal vibration, the MCU can wake up the APA.

[00210] S703: When determining, based on the sensing data, that a moving object exists around the vehicle, the APA determines that a first trigger event is detected.

[00211] It should be understood that, after the APA is woken up by the MCU, the APA may determine, based on the radar signal or the video / picture data, whether the moving object exists around the vehicle. Generally, when the moving object exists around the vehicle, it may be considered that the first trigger event is detected.

[00212] S704: When detecting the first trigger event, the APA sends a first wakeup signal and second environment data to the CDC. Correspondingly, the CDC receives the first wakeup signal and the second environment data from the APA.

[00213] In some feasible implementations, when detecting the first trigger event, the APA can wake up the CDC, and send the second environment data to the CDC.

[00214] S705: The CDC determines, based on the second environment data, whether to generate alarm information.

[00215] For implementation of determining, by the CDC based on the second environment data, whether to generate the alarm information, refer to related descriptions in step S303 in the embodiment corresponding to FIG. 3. Details are not described herein again.

[00216] In this embodiment of this application, after detecting the vibration, the MCU wakes up the APA to perform detection through vision and a radar, and finally enables the CDC. This hierarchical wakeup manner can further reduce power consumption.
