MODULAR MIXED DRYER FOR GRAINS AND CORN ON THE COB

Claims

A mixed dryer (100) for corn or similar, suitable for both grains and cobs, comprising a variety of modules (50), each of which has at least one drying cell (10) intended to receive the corn, a hot air generator (30) and its air distribution network (35) for sending the hot air to said cell; the dryer has an automatic filling system (20) configured to fill each cell (10) uniformly; each cell (10) has at its bottom at least one drying duct (16) perforated with several holes and through which the hot air supplied by the generator passes; the holes have a variable separation along the duct so as to ensure a constant airflow through the corn; furthermore, the dryer has an air recycling tunnel (352) for reinjecting used, slightly humid air into the cell.
