Claims

A device for the grazing illumination of road infrastructure is described, comprising at least one light source and at least one reflector. The light source emits a plurality of light rays. The reflector reflects at least a portion of the light rays emitted by the light source and defines an opening through which the light rays emitted by the light source exit the device. When the device is installed to illuminate a section of the road infrastructure, the light source is positioned at least partially above a plane substantially parallel to the road surface of the section of the road infrastructure and tangent to the top of the reflector opening.In addition, the reflector is designed to reflect at least a portion of the light rays emitted by the light source towards the road surface of the road infrastructure section when the device is installed to illuminate the road infrastructure section.
