Claims

The present invention relates to biotechnology applied to agriculture, more specifically to a novel microbial strain that can be used in the development of biological products for the control of pests and diseases in agricultural crops. The invention also relates to uses, methods of application, and compositions comprising said strain.

1. Microbial strain of Cordyceps javanica, characterized by being a strain of Cordyceps javanica deposited with the number ATCC PTA-127833.

2. Microbial strain of Cordyceps javanica according to claim 1, characterized in that it is for use in biological activity against Diaphorina citri, Bemisia tabaci, Helicoverpa armigera, Dalbulus maidis, Unaspis citri.

8. Agricultural composition, characterized in that it comprises or consists of: (a) the Cordyceps javanica strain deposited with the ATCC number PTA-127833; and (b) a suitable agricultural medium comprising a suitable carrier, a surfactant and, optionally, a buffer.
