Example embodiments of the disclosure relate to methods, devices, and a computer-readable storage medium for dynamic activation of a transmit configuration indicator (TCI). In one method, a first device receives a first indication and a second indication. The first indication indicates that a first switch is to be performed from a first source TCI state to a first target TCI state, and the second indication indicates that a second switch is to be performed from a second source TCI state to a second target TCI state. The first source TCI state has been activated for a first network device, and the second source TCI state has been activated for a second network device. The reference signals associated with the first target TCI state and the second target TCI state are adjacent. The first device determines the order in which the first and second switches are to be performed.
