Claims

A device and method for administering biological material and / or synthetic chemicals into a liquid medium comprising securing a capsule to an opening of a container, wherein the capsule comprises a cap portion for securing the capsule to the container and an elongated portion comprising a cavity defined by a frangible bottom, wherein the cavity comprises live biological material and a plunger comprising a disruption mechanism, suspending the elongated portion of the capsule in an inner cavity of the container, pressing the plunger, cutting or disrupting the frangible bottom of the capsule, and releasing the material into the liquid medium.
