Claims

This description provides a cassette for housing a plurality of flexible pouches and / or semi-rigid containers in a freeze dryer. The flexible pouches and semi-rigid containers include a chamber containing a pharmaceutical product that is freeze-dried by the freeze dryer. The cassette includes a frame and a plurality of partition walls arranged within the frame. The cassette includes a plurality of compartments arranged within the frame and separated by the plurality of partition walls. Each compartment receives a respective flexible pouch and / or semi-rigid container. The cassette includes a plurality of supports arranged in the plurality of compartments. Each support holds the chamber of a respective flexible pouch or semi-rigid container in an inclined position such that the chamber of the respective flexible pouch or semi-rigid container is oriented vertically with respect to the base.
