Computer-implemented method and system for tracking events related to an object. Method for tracking events related to an object, including passing the object through N entities, the method comprising: (S1) assigning object data to the object, including a biometric that forms a measurable identification of the object and a biography that forms a description of the object; (S2) assigning a unique object ledger to the object, which sequentially records object event records describing all object events; and (S3) assigning a unique entity ledger to each of the N entities, the entity ledger sequentially recording entity event records, each describing an entity event related to the entity and related to the object and / or any additional objects;where each event related to the object is recorded twice, specifically, once in the object ledger and once in the entity ledger of the entity related to the event that occurs.;
