Claims

A system may include a white light source, an ultraviolet light source, a digital machine vision camera to capture images of rock cut samples illuminated by the white light source and the ultraviolet light source, and circuitry capable of generating calibrated images of rock cut samples with contrast between rock cut samples with hydrocarbons and rock cut samples without hydrocarbons.
