AMMONIA-FREE LATEX COMPOSITIONS

Claims

Compositions comprising a stabilized, ammonia-free latex; a coagulation accelerator; a vulcanizing agent; and optionally a film-forming agent are provided herein. Preferably, the coagulation accelerator is morpholine. A method for producing a formed article is also provided herein, the method comprising (a) optionally, a preheating step in which a mold is heated to an elevated temperature; (b) a coagulant application step in which a coagulant composition is applied to a mold; (c) a dip step in which a mold is immersed in a bath comprising a dip-molding composition, as described herein; (d) a vulcanization step in which the mold is exposed to an elevated temperature and / or ultraviolet radiation; (e) a demolding step in which the formed article is separated from the mold; and (f) a washing step in which the demolded article is washed.
