Claims

A method for improving production performance through fluid sampling and rock-fluid interaction testing may include obtaining an initial measurement of a parameter associated with the rock sample, when the rock sample is taken from a well. The method may further include combining the rock sample with a test fluid for a period of time. The method may also include obtaining a second measurement of the parameter associated with the rock sample after that period of time. The method may further include comparing the first and second measurements. The method may also include generating a field operating plan for the well, where the field operating plan uses a recommended operating fluid based on the comparison of the first and second measurements.
