Claims

A lighting system for a sports court (100) is disclosed herein, comprising: - main spotlights (1), each mounted with an optical axis (X1) directed downwards to illuminate the sports court surface (101), and - sky-oriented units (2), each mounted with an optical axis (X2) directed upwards to illuminate the playing balls in flight above the sports court surface (101). A padel court equipped with said lighting system, and a method for illuminating a padel court, are also disclosed.
