ELECTRICITY GENERATING APPARATUS FROM HYDRAULIC ENERGY

Claims

It is a device designed to be placed on a riverbed to harness the hydraulic energy generated by the water current. It comprises a fixed mounting structure on which a hydraulic transmission module (M) is mounted, carrying a plurality of central pusher vanes (11) attached to left (9) and right (10) lateral chains. These chains extend between at least a first freely rotating transverse shaft (7) and a second transverse shaft (8), which carry linkages to the aforementioned left (9) and right (10) lateral chains. At least one of these transverse shafts is coupled to a speed multiplier associated with an electric power generator.The fixed mounting structure consists of a left stringer (5) and a right stringer (6) connected, via respective left crossbars (3) and right crossbars (4), to a respective left side float (1) and a respective right side float (2). A plurality of central pusher vanes (11) are fixed transversely to the left (9) and right (10) side chains. A plurality of fixed left side vanes (12) and a plurality of fixed right side vanes (13) are attached to the left stringer (5) and the right stringer (6), respectively. An indefinite number of units, each consisting of a transverse shaft coupled to a respective speed multiplier, which is in turn connected to a respective electricity generator, are arranged along the structure and connected to the left (9) and right (10) side chains.
