Claims

It is a straw-walking device suitable for incorporation into an agricultural combine harvester, for the purpose of moving the harvested material and shaking it to separate the grains. It comprises a frame (7) to which transverse shafts (5) are attached. These shafts carry eccentrically fixed disc-shaped gears (6), on which link chains (8) mesh to perform endless longitudinal displacement and simultaneously an oscillating motion that shakes the material being moved. One of the transverse shafts is a drive shaft connected to a motor via a mechanical transmission. It also includes freely rotating transverse shafts (9) that carry eccentric pulleys (10) which guide the movement of the chains (8). The link chains (8) include a plurality of transverse bars (12) that sweep and shake the material they receive.Below the upper displacement section of the link chains (8), a sieve (13) extends.
