Claims

Some embodiments of the present invention may include a wear member assembly attachable to a material handling apparatus. The wear member assembly may include a wear member, a base, and a locking pin assembly. The base may have a projection extending upward from the upper surface of the base and an opening in the base. The projection may have a surface facing laterally toward the center of the base. The wear member may include a rib projecting downward from the lower surface and an opening for the wear member. The rib may have a lateral surface of the wear member configured to contact the lateral surface of the base at the projection and a lower surface configured to contact the upper surface of the base.The base opening and the wear member opening can be aligned so that a locking pin assembly can be inserted through them to secure the wear member to the base.
