Claims
A method for stopping a hydraulic fracturing oscillating pump comprising reducing the speed of a motor in a first mode where the speed demand is reduced for a first time period and the torque limit is held constant during the first time period; and further reducing the speed of the motor in a second mode where the speed demand is held constant for a second time period and the torque limit is reduced during the second time period. The motor is stopped during or after the second time period. The motor is mechanically coupled to an oscillating pump.
