Claims

An apparatus and methods are provided for an adhered closure for sealing contents within a container. The adhered closure may include a single layer of thermoformed PET. The adhered closure may include a closure portion that is attached to a tamper-evident band by an anchor. The anchor may retain the closure portion attached to the tamper-evident band. The closure portion may be threaded to a finishing portion of the container to seal the contents within the container. The anchor may remain intact and allow the closure portion to tilt away from the finishing portion.
