COMPARTMENTALIZED HYDRAULIC FRACTURING SYSTEM

Claims

A compartmentalized hydraulic fracturing (frac) system may include a mono line configured to transport fracturing fluid to a well. The system may include multiple zones, each comprising: an assembly of one or more fracturing pumps, each configured to pump fracturing fluid into the mono line; an isolation valve configured to control the flow of fracturing fluid between the fracturing pump assembly and the mono line; and a purge valve configured to release pressurized fracturing fluid from the fracturing pump assembly when open. The system may include dividing walls between the multiple zones. The system may include a control system configured to deactivate or reactivate one of the zones by controlling the fracturing pump assembly, the isolation valve, and the purge valve for that zone.
