Abstract

The invention describes a guide element for a conveyor belt in a chicken coop for laying hens. The conveyor belt can be used as a manure conveyor, an egg conveyor, or for both applications. The guide element is mounted longitudinally between the drive and deflection rollers on the frame of the chicken coop, aviary, or nesting box to guide the conveyor belt in the center and prevent sagging. For this purpose, the upper or lower surface of the belt can be guided at one or more positions on the left and right sides. The use of at least one guide element ensures the reliable operation of the conveyor belt in the center beneath the aviary.
