Abstract

An information transmission method for reducing PAPR, a transmitting terminal and a receiving terminal are provided, to solve the technical problem that it is difficult for a transmitting terminal to reliably transmit side information to a receiving terminal by using conventional methods for reducing PAPR. The method includes: scrambling an initial data block according to a predetermined scrambling mode to obtain a scrambled target data block; determining a scrambling mode index corresponding to the predetermined scrambling mode according to a predetermined relation between scrambling mode indexes and scrambling modes; generating side information carrying the determined scrambling mode index based on the scrambling mode index; and transmitting the side information and the target data block to a receiving terminal.
