Abstract

An electric motor, particularly for a food processor, is proposed, wherein the rotor of the electric motor includes a mounting device for mounting permanent magnets inserted in the rotor. The mounting device has a base body and flexible fixing elements projecting from the base body for fixing the permanent magnets, which press the permanent magnets radially against corresponding stops. Alternatively or additionally, the mounting device can form receiving chambers for collecting excess adhesive during the bonding of the permanent magnets. Furthermore, a food processor with a corresponding electric motor is proposed. In addition, a method for mounting an electric motor in which a permanent magnet is bonded is proposed. For this purpose, a mounting device is used which, by means of a fixing element, presses the permanent magnet in a radial direction against a corresponding stop in order to fix the permanent magnet during the curing of the adhesive, and / or to collect the excess adhesive in a receiving chamber.
