Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing multilayer plastic strapping and to a multilayer plastic strapping. The method comprises providing a first and a second plastic material, melting them together, combining the two plastic melts, forming a multilayer film strand, and cutting the film strand before or after a stretching step. The first plastic material is provided with a proportion of 50 wt.% to 100 wt.% of exclusively mechanically recycled plastic material. The multilayer film strand is formed such that it consists of 50 wt.% to 90 wt.% of the first plastic material and 10 wt.% to 50 wt.% of the second plastic material.The multi-layered plastic strapping band consists of a base layer made of the first plastic material and at least one surface layer made of a second plastic material connected to a top and / or bottom of this base layer.
