Abstract
The invention relates to a high-voltage system battery with at least two battery modules (2) which are electrically connected in series, characterized in that a pyrotechnic safety element (3) is electrically connected between at least two battery modules (2) which is designed to disconnect the electrical connection between the battery modules (2) in the event of a malfunction of the battery.
