Abstract
Rescue system (1) for a building (2) comprising an escape unit (3) with space for at least one person and a propellant (4) configured to drive the escape unit (3) to a separation movement from the building (2), wherein the escape unit (3) has a braking unit (5) designed to decelerate a free fall of the escape unit (3) after a separation of the escape unit (3) from the building (2).
