Abstract
The invention relates to a method for the dynamic control of the energy carrier and oxidant supply (1, 2) in a thermal reactor (3). To enable precise and dynamic control of such a thermal reactor (3), it is proposed that a quantity of pyrolysis gas be determined in successive time steps from the difference between the quantity of carbon-containing energy carriers supplied and the carbon species discharged from the thermal reactor (3). A pyrolysis power is then calculated from this quantity of pyrolysis gas, and in real time, both the energy carrier supply (1) and the oxidant supply (2) are controlled so that the sum of the energy carrier power and the pyrolysis power yields a predetermined target power.
