Abstract

Omnidirectional wind turbine consisting of a housing (1), a conical rotor (2), and an electric generator (3). The housing comprises concentric profile rings (4) arranged one above the other, fixed radially (5) by aerodynamic vertical support walls. Together, they form an upwardly tapered vertical air duct within the housing, in which special aerodynamic surfaces are installed to create turbulence in the airflow (6). A conical element (7) is installed in the lower, wider section of the upwardly tapered vertical air duct. Each profile ring has an inner and an outer edge, with the diameter of the inner opening of the profile rings varying. Each higher ring has a smaller diameter inner opening compared to the ring below it.Each profile ring has a continuous cross-sectional profile that can represent a straight, curved, or broken line, or another geometric shape. The conical rotor of the turbine (2) is mounted at the upper end of the tapered vertical air duct.
