Greenable building element

Abstract

The invention relates to a greenable building element for improving the microclimate and binding dust in urban areas. To provide an easy-to-maintain greenable building element that allows for immediate greening and landscaping of visible surfaces, it is proposed that the greenable building element comprises a visible outer shell (1) with a minimum compressive strength of 100 N / mm², a middle layer (2) made of a water-permeable material with a minimum compressive strength of 20 N / mm², a back shell (3) opposite the outer shell (1) with a minimum compressive strength of 100 N / mm², and a water- and air-permeable container (6) integrated into the middle layer (2) for receiving a plant substrate (5), wherein the outer shell (1) has at least one opening (4) for plants (7) growing from the plant substrate (5).
