Abstract

Contacting unit (K) for providing an electrical contact between a connection point of an energy storage device (10) and a connecting cable (7) of a charging or consumer circuit, comprising an electrically insulating housing (1) with a receptacle (2) extending along a longitudinal axis (L) of the housing (1) for an electrically conductive ball (4), wherein the ball (4) is rotatably mounted in the receptacle (2) of the housing (1) and is preloaded against a receiving opening (3) of the receptacle (2) by means of an elastic element (9).It is proposed that a current collector plate (6) be provided which is linearly displaceable within the receptacle (2) along the longitudinal axis (L) and which is mounted in a rotationally secure manner about the longitudinal axis (L), which is electrically connected to the connecting cable (7) via its side facing away from the receptacle opening (3) and is provided on its side facing the receptacle opening (3) with a contact cap (8) for the ball (4) which has an electrically conductive contact surface that at least partially surrounds the ball (4) for the mounting and contacting of the ball (4).
