Heat pump module

Abstract

The invention relates to a heat pump module for supplying heat to a building, comprising a cuboid housing divided into a cold section (9) and a hot section (10). A heat pump (2), which can be an air-source heat pump, is located in the cold section (9). According to a first aspect, the cold section (9) has a front opening (11) for expelling heat-exchanged air or for drawing in heat-exchanged air, and a ceiling opening (12) is provided for drawing in and expelling heat-exchanged air. According to a second aspect, a heat pump assembly operating with propane as a refrigerant is provided, wherein the cold section has at least one discharge opening through which propane can be discharged to the environment in the event of a leak in the heat pump assembly.
