Procedure for identifying the cause of a detected vehicle parameter deviation

Abstract

To improve the monitoring of vehicles (2) in a vehicle fleet (1), a cause for a detected vehicle parameter deviation of at least one faulty vehicle (2) is identified, wherein a digital model (M) of the at least one faulty vehicle (2) is used in a computing unit (6) external to the vehicles (2) of the vehicle fleet (1), wherein at least one model parameter value of at least one model parameter (MP) of the model (M) is changed such that an adapted model (M*) represents the detected vehicle parameter deviation, wherein the change of the at least one model parameter value is used as the identified cause of the vehicle parameter deviation for monitoring the vehicle fleet (1).
