Abstract

The invention relates to a storage system (1) for storing unit loads (S) comprising an evaluation unit (27) which is configured to evaluate storage profile data and determine the actual distance between two adjacent unit loads (S), compare this distance with the target distance and the minimum distance, and generate a first instruction or a second instruction for a position correction of the unit loads (S), depending on whether the actual distance is less than or greater than the minimum distance. Furthermore, the invention relates to a corresponding method.
