Abstract

The present invention relates to a mixing device (100) for combining an anode purge gas (ASG) with a cathode exhaust gas (CEG) from a fuel cell (211). The mixing device (100) has a pipe section (110) with a pipe inlet (111) and a pipe outlet (112), between which the pipe section (110) extends longitudinally in a main extension direction (102) to guide the cathode exhaust gas (CEG) flowing in an exhaust gas direction from the pipe inlet (111) to the pipe outlet (112). The pipe section (110) further has a purge gas connection section (113, 114) for connecting the pipe section (110) to a purge gas line (230), which is arranged on a pipe wall section between the pipe inlet (111) and pipe outlet (112).In the pipe section (110), a diffuser (120) for distributing the anode purge gas (ASG) is further arranged, which has a diffuser body (121) with a plurality of distribution openings (1213) and a diffuser line (122) for guiding the anode purge gas (ASG) from the purge gas connection section (113, 114) to the distribution openings (1213). The diffuser body (121) has at least two diffuser sections (1211, 1212) which extend in opposite directions (131, 132) with respect to the main direction of extension (102) in order to distribute the anode purge gas (ASG) in the cathode exhaust gas (CAG) in and against the direction of exhaust gas. The invention further relates to a fuel cell system (200) and a cathode exhaust line (300), each of which has the mixing device (100) according to the invention.
