Abstract

A goniometer (2) for an X-ray measuring apparatus (1) is described, comprising: a first goniometer arm (12a) which is rotatable and angularly adjustable about a goniometer axis (9) and on which an X-ray illumination system (3) can be mounted or is mounted; a second goniometer arm (12b) which is rotatable and angularly adjustable about the goniometer axis (9) and on which a detection system (5) can be mounted; a sample holder system (8); characterized in that the sample holder system (8) is mounted on the first goniometer arm (12a) in such a way that it moves with it when the first goniometer arm (12a) is pivoted.
