Device for punching a miter notch

Abstract

A device for punching a miter notch into a profile strip (4) is described, comprising a frame extending from a base (1). The frame includes a guide (8) extending in the direction of the miter axis and perpendicular to the base (1) for a punching blade (6) provided with end-face cutting edges (7) for the miter notch, and a strip receptacle between the base (1) and the guide (8). To simplify the design, it is proposed that the frame form a housing (2) with the strip receptacle in the form of a through-opening suitable for punching the profile strip (4). This through-opening is located between a housing recess (3) complementary to the cross-section of the profile strip (4) and a cover (5) covering this housing recess (3). The punching blade (6) is provided with a striking pin (9).
