Abstract

Car body (1) for a rail vehicle, comprising the major components underframe (3), side walls (4), roof (5) and at least one partition wall (2) arranged inside the car body (1), wherein inside the car body (1) several mounting brackets (6) arranged along a plane are firmly connected to at least one major component (3, 4, 5), which hold the partition wall (2) in its mounting position with respect to the longitudinal direction of the car body, wherein the partition wall (2) has a distance on all sides along its circumferential line to the major components (3, 4, 5) during all permissible deformations of the major components (3, 4, 5).
