Abstract
A device for treating raw or wastewater by means of a membrane separation process comprises a pump body (10) having a pressure pipe (11) enclosing an interior (12) and having an outer wall (13). A filter module (2) can be inserted into the interior (12) and has a semipermeable membrane that separates a raw water side from a permeate side. The pump body (10) further comprises an outer pipe (14) that coaxially surrounds the pressure pipe (11) at a predetermined distance (dR) and has an inner wall (15) and an annular space (16) formed between the outer wall (13) of the pressure pipe (11) and the inner wall (15) of the outer pipe (14), extending in an axial direction (x). A ring piston (17) is guided in the axial direction (x) so as to be movable in the annular space (16) and is in sealing contact with the outer wall (13) of the pressure tube (11) and the inner wall (15) of the outer tube (14).The ring piston (17) is designed so that raw water is drawn in via a raw water inlet (21) by manual lifting movements, pressed into the filter module (2) at a predetermined pressure and then the permeate is discharged via a permeate outlet (32).
