Kraft paper web

Abstract

The invention relates to a kraft paper web made of kraft paper, in particular sack kraft paper, with an elongation at break determined according to ISO 1924-3, wherein the elongation at break of the kraft paper web in the transverse direction is at least 4% and wherein the kraft paper web has a transverse width (101) of at least 4.0 m, wherein the elongation at break in % measured in the transverse direction in an edge region (102) of the kraft paper web is greater by a factor of at most 1.3, preferably by a factor of at most 1.2, than the elongation at break in % measured in the transverse direction in a central region (103) of the kraft paper web, wherein the edge region (102) has a normal distance of between 0 cm and 50 cm to an outer edge (104) of the kraft paper web extending in the machine direction and wherein the central region (103) has a normal distance to an outer edge (104) of the kraft paper web extending in the machine direction that is ±25 cm of half the width (101) corresponds to the kraft paper web.The invention further relates to a method.
