Abstract

A device for a wood-burning stove (1) is described, comprising a lifting device (6) for a main closing element (3) that can be moved between a closed and an open position and which, together with a secondary closing element (4), defines a combustion chamber (2). To reduce soiling of the living space while simultaneously reducing the required installation space and increasing design freedom, it is proposed that the main closing element (3), located on one side of the secondary closing element (4), be supported by a carrier (5) that encompasses the secondary closing element (4) on the lifting device (6) located on the other side of the secondary closing element (4).
