Cranial remodeling orthosis

Abstract

The object of the invention is a cranial remodeling orthosis and a method of designing and producing the same. The cranial remodeling orthosis of the invention comprises an outer shell (1 ) and an inner shell (4), wherein the inner wall (2) of the outer shell defines an inner cavity (3) of the outer shell for insertion of the wearer's head, wherein the cranial remodeling orthosis further comprises an inner shell (4) that is removably connected to the outer shell (1 ), wherein the inner shell (4) defines a reduced inner cavity (5) for insertion of the wearer's head that has a smaller volume than the inner cavity (3) of the outer shell. The inner shell (4) is removably connected to the outer shell (1 ) in at least 2 different places distributed around the circumference of the inner shell (4).
