Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present application relates to the technical field of communication, for example, to a resource determination method, a communication node and a storage medium. BACKGROUND
[0002] To improve uplink (UL) coverage, reduce UL transmission latency, and increase UL transmission capacity in time division duplexing (TDD) systems, subband full duplex (SBFD) technology has emerged. SBFD technology enables full duplex at the base station side by partitioning non-overlapping uplink / downlink subbands in a single TDD single carrier and performing data transmission and reception separately on each subband. At present, a carrier may be configured with multiple subcarrier spaces (SCSs), and different SCSs correspond to different carrier bandwidths. However, if a carrier is configured or determined to have different SCSs, how to configure the frequency-domain resources of SBFD subbands has not been researched in the related art. Furthermore, the SBFD subband is periodically configured in the time domain, and this period is considered to be equal to one or more TDD frame structure periods. If a correlation between the period of the SBFD subband and the TDD frame structure period is present, how to configure the time-domain resources of the SBFD subbands has also not been researched in the related art. [0032] It should be understood that the embodiments described herein are only intended to illustrate the present application, and are not intended to limit the present application. The embodiments of the present application are described in detail hereinafter with reference to the drawings.
[0033] To improve UL coverage, reduce UL transmission latency and increase UL transmission capacity of TDD systems, an SBFD technology for a UE in a radio resource control (RRC) connected state has emerged.
[0034] For SBFD technology, one UL subband and at most two downlink (DL) subbands may be configured in some or all DL slots / symbols. For example, the UL subband and the DL subband are required to be configured based on a pair of DL bandwidth part (BWP) and UL BWP, and the pair of DL BWP and UL BWP is required to have the same center frequency. In the frequency domain, the frequency-domain resources of the UL subband and the frequency-domain resources of the DL subband are generally considered to be configured within the frequency-domain range of the DL BWP. The DL BWP is valid in the DL symbols or the DL slots. However, in the frequency domain, the frequency-domain resources of the UL subband and the frequency-domain resources of the DL subband may also be configured outside the DL BWP. For example, some or all of the frequency-domain resources of the UL subband and the frequency-domain resources of the DL subband are outside the frequency-domain range of the DL BWP.
[0035] The UL subband and the DL subband are also referred to as an SBFD subband, that is, an SBFD subband configured in the DL symbols / slots of the DL BWP, and the SBFD subband typically includes at least one DL subband and one UL subband.
[0036] For example, in a 100 MHz TDD carrier, 20 consecutive resource blocks (RBs) are configured as a UL subband in the DL symbols / slots of the DL BWP, and the remaining frequency-domain resources of the DL BWP are a DL subband (a gap may not be configured). Alternatively, one DL subband may also be configured in the DL symbols / slots of the DL BWP. In this manner, in the DL symbols / slots, the UL subband may be used for UL transmission, and the DL subband may be used for DL transmission. FIG. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of an SBFD subband according to an embodiment. As shown in FIG. 1, an SBFD subband includes one UL subband and two DL subbands, and this frequency-domain pattern is generally referred to as "DUD" (based on a frequency-domain structure). FIG. 2 is another schematic structural diagram of an SBFD subband according to an embodiment. As shown in FIG. 2, an SBFD subband includes one UL subband and one DL subband, and the UL subband is located below the DL subband. This frequency-domain pattern is generally referred to as "DU" (based on a frequency-domain structure).
[0037] At present, SBFD technology has the following characteristics: the base station is capable of simultaneously performing reception in the UL subband and transmission in the DL subband in the same time domain. The UE is incapable of simultaneously performing reception in the UL subband and transmission in the DL subband in the same time domain. Here, the UL subband and the DL subband are configured in the same orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols / slots and are frequency-division multiplexed.
[0038] The SBFD subband operation described above is performed on a pair of DL BWP and UL BWP, and the pair of DL BWP and UL BWP has aligned center frequencies.
[0039] At present, a carrier may be configured with multiple SCSs, and the SCSs are used to determine the carrier bandwidth within the carrier. For example, if a carrier is configured with two SCSs, namely SCS1 and SCS2, the base station or the UE may determine two carrier bandwidths from this carrier, and the two carrier bandwidths correspond to SCS1 and SCS2, respectively. That is, UE1 is configured / determined to have SCS1 as the SCS for the carrier, UE1 may configure a carrier bandwidth 1 based on SCS1, and a DL BWP or a UL BWP is configured for UE1 within the carrier bandwidth 1, and SCSs are configured for the DL BWP and UL BWP respectively. In this manner, UE1 may perform DL reception based on the DL BWP and the corresponding SCS or perform UL transmission based on the UL BWP and the corresponding SCS.
[0040] It should be noted that SCS1 and SCS2 here refer to SCSs corresponding to the carrier. The DL BWP or UL BWP of UE1 is also configured with a corresponding SCS. Here, the SCS configured for the DL BWP or the SCS configured for the UL BWP of UE1 may be different from SCS1 of the carrier configured / determined for UE1.
[0041] Similarly, if UE2 is configured / determined to have SCS2 as the SCS for the carrier, UE2 may configure a carrier bandwidth 2 based on SCS2, and a DL BWP or UL BWP is configured for UE2 in the carrier bandwidth 2, and SCSs are configured for the DL BWP and UL BWP respectively. In this manner, UE2 may perform DL reception based on the DL BWP and the corresponding SCS, or perform UL transmission based on the UL BWP and the corresponding SCS.
[0042] It should be noted that SCS1 and SCS2 here refer to SCSs corresponding to the carrier. The DL BWP or UL BWP of UE2 is also configured with a corresponding SCS. Here, the SCS configured for the DL BWP or the SCS configured for the UL BWP of UE2 may be different from SCS2 of the carrier configured / determined for UE2.
[0043] If a carrier is configured or determined to have different SCSs, how to configure the frequency-domain resources of SBFD subbands has not been researched in the related art.
[0044] Furthermore, in the related art, SBFD subbands are periodically configured in the time domain, and the period for SBFD subbands is considered to be equal to one or more TDD frame structure periods. Further, the TDD frame structure period may have a dual period, that is, two TDD frame structure periods are merged into one period, and one SBFD period may be equal to the dual period.
[0045] If a correlation between the period for the SBFD subbands and the TDD frame structure period is present, how to configure the time-domain resources of the SBFD subbands has not been researched in the related art.
[0046] The resource determination method provided by the present application is applicable to various wireless communication systems, such as a long term evolution (LTE) system, a 4th-generation (4G) system, a 5th-generation (5G) system, an LTE and 5G hybrid architecture system, a 5G new radio (NR) system, and new communication systems emerging in future communication development, such as a 6th-generation (6G) system. FIG. 3 schematic networking diagram of a wireless communication system according to an embodiment. As shown in FIG. 3, the wireless communication system includes a terminal device 110, an access network device 120, and a core network device 130.
[0047] The terminal device 110 may be a device having wireless transceiver capability and may be deployed on land (such as indoors or outdoors, handheld, wearable, or vehicle-mounted), on water (such as a ship), or in the air (such as an airplane, a balloon, or a satellite). Examples of the terminal device 110 include: a passive terminal, a UE, a mobile phone, a mobile station, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, an ultra-mobile personal computer (UMPC), a handheld computer, a netbook, a personal digital assistant (PDA), other network-connected user devices, a virtual reality (VR) terminal, an augmented reality (AR) terminal, a wireless terminal in industrial control, a wireless terminal in self-driving, a wireless terminal in remote medical applications, a wireless terminal in smart grids, a wireless terminal in transportation safety, a wireless terminal in smart cities, a wireless terminal in smart homes, an Internet-of-Things node in the Internet of Things, a vehicle-mounted communication device in the Internet of Vehicles, an entertainment or gaming device or system; or a global positioning system device. The embodiments of the present application do not limit the specific technology or specific device form adopted by the terminal device. In addition, the terminal device may be simply referred to as a terminal.
[0048] The access network device 120 is an access device through which the terminal device 110 accesses the wireless communication system in a wireless manner. The access network device may be a reader / writer, a base station or an evolved base station (eNB or eNodeB) in long term evolution advanced (LTEA), a transmission reception point (TRP), a base station or a next generation NodeB (gNB) in 5G mobile communication systems, a base station in future mobile communication systems or an access node in wireless fidelity (WiFi) systems, etc. The base station may include various network-side devices (such as a macro base station, a micro base station, a home base station, a wireless remote station, a router, a WiFi device, a primary cell, and a secondary cell), and a location management function (LMF) device. The access network device 120 may also be a module or unit implementing some functions of the base station. For example, the access network device 120 may be a central unit (CU) or a distributed unit (DU). The embodiment of the present application does not limit the specific technology and specific device form adopted by the access network device. Moreover, the access network device may be simply referred to as the base station.
[0049] The core network device 130 may include an access and mobility management element and a session management element. In an example, the terminal device 110 may access the core network through the access network device 120 to achieve data transmission.
[0050] In the embodiments of the present application, a resource determination method, a communication node and a storage medium operable in the wireless communication system are provided, enabling the time-frequency resource configuration of the SBFD subband, thereby achieving high-bandwidth and low-latency communication, and improving system performance through flexible scheduling of the SBFD subband.
[0051] Next, the resource determination method, the communication nodes and technical effects thereof are described below.
[0052] For ease of description, the technical terms in the present application are explained as follows:
[0053] SBFD symbol: a symbol configured with an SBFD subband.
[0054] SBFD slot: a slot containing an SBFD symbol.
[0055] Non-SBFD symbol: a symbol not configured with an SBFD subband, i.e., a conventional symbol.
[0056] Non-SBFD slot: a slot not containing an SBFD symbol.
[0057] The base station may perform reception in the UL subband and transmission in the DL subband of the SBFD subband, respectively, within the same time domain. For example, the base station performs transmission in symbols 1 to 9 of the DL subband while performing reception in symbols 1 to 9 of the UL subband. The DL subband and the UL subband are frequency -division multiplexed. The UE still performs reception and transmission based on time division multiplexing.
[0058] To further improve the system efficiency and spectrum efficiency, the present application proposes a co-frequency co-time full duplex (CCFD) operation. First, a CCFD subband resource is proposed; that is, for a carrier, a CCFD subband is configured in the frequency domain (the configuration of this CCFD subband may reuse the configuration of the SBFD subband described below). For example, in this CCFD subband, the base station performs transmission on some RBs of the CCFD subband over symbols 1 to 9, and simultaneously performs reception on these RBs of the CCFD subband over symbols 1 to 9. That is, the base station uses the same time-frequency resource to simultaneously perform reception and transmission. The UE still performs reception and transmission based on time division multiplexing.
[0059] In a carrier, the base station configures an RB set based on consecutive RBs in the frequency domain as a CCFD subband for a CCFD operation, and configures some slots or symbols as a CCFD subband for the CCFD operation based on symbols or slots in the time domain. In this manner, some time-frequency resources (denoted as resources A) for the CCFD operation are obtained. Resources A are also referred to as a CCFD subband and may be used for DL transmission and UL reception. At least from the base station side, resources A may be used for co-frequency co-time full duplex transmission. That is, the base station may transmit DL signals and receive UL signals in resources A at the same time and on the same frequency. The UE side may only support DL transmission and UL transmission in a time division manner.
[0060] In the present application, a symbol configured with resources A is called a CCFD symbol, and a slot configured with resources A is called a CCFD slot; while a symbol not configured with resources A is called a non-CCFD symbol (e.g., a conventional DL symbol, a conventional UL symbol, or a conventional F symbol), a slot not configured with resources A is called a non-CCFD slot (e.g., a conventional DL slot, a conventional UL slot, or a conventional F slot). FIG. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of resources A according to an embodiment.
[0061] The following methods are described based on the SBFD subband, but these methods may also be applicable to the CCFD subband, for example, by simply taking the CCFD symbol / slot as the SBFD symbol / slot, and taking the non-CCFD symbol / slot as the non-SBFD symbol / slot. Furthermore, if the following methods are described based on the UL subband or the DL subband, the DL subband and the UL subband may be replaced with the CCFD subband, since the CCFD subband supports simultaneously DL reception and UL transmission.
[0062] In the present application, an SBFD subband may be understood as including a DL subband, a UL subband and a frequency-domain gap. In addition, the SBFD subband may also be directly replaced with a UL subband or a DL subband. For example, the configuration of time-domain and frequency-domain resources of an SBFD subband may alternatively be replaced with the configuration of time-domain and frequency-domain resources of a UL subband or with the configuration of time-domain and frequency-domain resources of a DL subband.
[0063] FIG. 5 is a flowchart of a resource determination method according to an embodiment. As shown in FIG. 5, the method provided in this embodiment is applicable to a first communication node (also referred to as a first communication node device, a first node, or a first device), such as a UE. The method includes the following.

The flexible symbol is not configured as a UL symbol by TDD-UL-DL-ConfigDedicated and an SFI.
[0092] In an embodiment, when a first SCS is a reference SCS, and the first SCS is smaller than a second SCS, a slot and / or a symbol of an SBFD subband corresponding to the second SCS is determined based on a slot and / or a symbol of an SBFD subband corresponding to the first SCS. The slot and / or the symbol of the SBFD subband corresponding to the second SCS overlaps in the time domain and corresponds to the slot and / or the symbol of the SBFD subband corresponding to the first SCS. The slot and / or the symbol of the SBFD subband corresponding to the first SCS is configured based on the reference SCS.
[0093] In S120, a time-frequency resource of the SBFD subband is determined based on the resource configuration information.
[0094] In an embodiment, a manner for determining the time-frequency resource of the SBFD subband based on the resource configuration information may include: determining a time-domain resource of the SBFD subband based on the time-domain configuration information; and determining a frequency-domain resource of the SBFD subband based on the frequency-domain configuration information.
[0095] Specifically, based on the frequency-domain configuration information, the frequency-domain resource of the SBFD subband may be determined in any one of the following manners: in manner one, based on the frequency-domain configuration information, CRBs of SBFD subbands in carrier bandwidths corresponding to different SCSs for one carrier are determined; and in manner two, based on the frequency-domain configuration information, a CRB of an SBFD subband in a carrier bandwidth corresponding to one SCS for one carrier is determined; and based on the CRB of the SBFD subband in the carrier bandwidth corresponding to the one SCS, CRBs of SBFD subbands in carrier bandwidths corresponding to the remaining SCSs are determined.
[0096] In an embodiment, SBFD subbands in different carrier bandwidths satisfy at least one of the following rules:
[0097] frequency-domain resources of the SBFD subbands remain contiguous;
[0098] a first subcarrier of a start CRB of one SBFD subband is center-aligned with a first subcarrier of a start CRB of another SBFD subband;
[0099] a last subcarrier of an end CRB of one SBFD subband is center-aligned with a last subcarrier of an end CRB of another SBFD subband;

[0102] the number of CRBs of one SBFD subband is 2u2-u1 times the number of CRBs of another SBFD subband, where u1 and u2 are both constants, an SCS of the one SBFD subband is 15*2u1 kHz, an SCS of the other SBFD subband is 15*2u2 kHz, and u2 is greater than u1; and
[0103] an SBFD subband includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to an SCS corresponding to the SBFD subband.
[0104] FIG. 6 is another flowchart illustrating a resource determination method according to an embodiment. As shown in FIG. 6, the method provided in this embodiment is applicable to a second communication node (also referred to as a second communication node device, a second node, or a second device), such as a base station. The method includes the following: information includes time-domain configuration information and frequency-domain configuration information. The time-domain configuration information is used to indicate a time-domain resource position of an SBFD subband based on an SBFD period or a time-domain resource position of an SBFD subband based on a TDD period. The frequency-domain configuration information is used to indicate a frequency-domain resource position of the SBFD subband corresponding to at least one SCS based on a carrier.
[0106] In an embodiment, before S210 is executed, the second communication node may first determine the resource configuration information. In addition, the second communication node may also determine a time-frequency resource of the SBFD subband based on the resource configuration information.
[0107] In an embodiment, the SBFD subband includes at least one of a DL subband or a UL subband, and a frequency-domain gap. That is, the SBFD subband may include a DL subband, a UL subband, and a frequency-domain gap. Alternatively, the SBFD subband may include a DL subband and a frequency-domain gap. Alternatively, the SBFD subband may include a UL subband and a frequency-domain gap.
[0108] In an embodiment, the time-domain configuration information includes first information and second information. The first information is used to indicate a configuration manner of the SBFD subband within one SBFD period, and the second information is used to indicate slots and symbols of the SBFD subband within one SBFD period. The frequency-domain configuration information is used to indicate a CRB of the SBFD subband corresponding to at least one SCS based on the carrier. The frequency-domain resource position corresponding to a different SCS is described by a CRB associated with the different SCS.
[0109] In an embodiment, one SBFD period includes at least one TDD frame structure period, and a configuration manner of the SBFD subband in one SBFD period includes any one of the following:
[0110] the SBFD subband is configured in each TDD frame structure period; and
[0111] the SBFD subband is configured in part of the at least one TDD frame structure period.
[0112] In an embodiment, the time-domain resource position of the SBFD subband includes at least one of the following positions: a start slot, a start symbol, an end slot, or an end symbol.
[0113] When the start slot is absent, the first slot in one SBFD period or in one TDD frame structure period is taken as the start slot by default.
[0114] When the start symbol is absent, the first symbol in an indicated start slot is taken as the start symbol.
[0115] When the end slot is absent, the last slot among the remaining slots in one SBFD period or in one TDD frame structure period, except for an uplink slot or a flexible slot, is taken as the end slot by default. At least one of the flexible slots is not configured as an uplink symbol or is not configured for semi-static uplink transmission. The end slot is replaceable by the number of consecutive slots starting from the start slot.
[0116] When the end symbol is absent, the last symbol among the remaining symbols in one SBFD period or in one TDD frame structure period, except for an uplink symbol or a flexible symbol, is taken as the end symbol by default. The flexible symbol is not configured as an uplink symbol or is not configured for semi-static uplink transmission.
[0117] In an embodiment, the number of bits of the start slot or the number of bits of the end slot is determined according to at least one of the following:
[0118] a sum of the number of all downlink slots and the number of all special slots in one SBFD period or in one TDD frame structure period, where the special slots include at least one of a first slot and a second slot, the first slot includes at least one uplink symbol and at least one downlink symbol, the second slot includes a flexible symbol, and the flexible symbol is not configured as an uplink symbol or is not configured for semi-static uplink transmission; or
[0119] the maximum number of slots allowed to be configured for the SBFD subband in one SBFD period or in one TDD frame structure period.
[0120] In an embodiment, the number of bits of the start symbol is determined according to at least one of the following:
[0121] a sum of the number of all downlink symbols and the number of all flexible symbols in one start slot, where the flexible symbols are not configured as uplink symbols or are not used for semi-static uplink transmission;
[0122] first k1 symbols of the start slot; or
[0123] last k1 symbols of the start slot.
[0124] In an embodiment, the number of bits of the end symbol is determined according to at least one of the following:
[0125] a sum of the number of all downlink symbols and the number of all flexible symbols in one end slot, where the flexible symbols are not configured as uplink symbols or are not used for semi-static uplink transmission;
[0126] first k2 symbols of the end slot, or
[0127] last k2 symbols of the end slot.
[0128] k1 and k2 are both positive integers.
[0129] In an embodiment, the time-domain resource position of the SBFD subband is determined in at least one of the following manners:
[0130] in one SBFD period or in one TDD frame structure period, all symbols are taken as a set, a symbol from the set is indicated as a start symbol, the last symbol among the remaining symbols except for a UL subband and a flexible symbol is taken as an end symbol by default, and all symbols from the start symbol to the end symbol are configured as the SBFD subband; where the flexible symbol is not configured as a UL symbol by TDD-UL-DL-ConfigDedicated and an SFI;
[0131] when one SBFD period includes at least two TDD frame structure periods, all symbols in a TDD frame structure period configured with the SBFD subband are taken as a set, a symbol from the set is indicated as a start symbol, the last symbol among the remaining symbols in the TDD frame structure period configured with the SBFD subband except for a UL subband and a flexible symbol is taken as an end symbol by default, and all symbols from the start symbol to the end symbol are configured as the SBFD subband. The flexible symbol is not configured as a UL symbol by TDD-UL-DL-ConfigDedicated and an SFI;
[0132] in one SBFD period or in one TDD frame structure period, all slots are taken as a set, a slot from the set is indicated as a start slot, the first symbol or a predefined symbol in the start slot is taken as a start symbol of the SBFD subband, the last symbol among the remaining symbols except for a UL subband and a flexible symbol is taken as an end symbol by default, and all symbols from the start symbol to the end symbol are configured as the SBFD subband. The flexible symbol is not configured as a UL symbol by TDD-UL-DL-ConfigDedicated and an SFI; or
[0133] when one SBFD period includes at least two TDD frame structure periods, all slots in a TDD frame structure period configured with the SBFD subband are taken as a set, a slot from the set is indicated as a start slot, the first symbol or a predefined symbol in the start slot is taken as a start symbol of the SBFD subband, the last symbol among the remaining symbols in the TDD frame structure period configured with the SBFD subband except for a UL subband and a flexible symbol is taken as an end symbol by default, and all symbols from the start symbol to the end symbol are configured as the SBFD subband. The flexible symbol is not configured as a UL symbol by TDD-UL-DL-ConfigDedicated and an SFI.
[0134] In an embodiment, when a first SCS is a reference SCS, and the first SCS is smaller than a second SCS, a slot and / or a symbol of an SBFD subband corresponding to the second SCS is determined based on a slot and / or a symbol of an SBFD subband corresponding to the first SCS.
[0135] In an embodiment, a manner for determining the time-frequency resource of the SBFD subband based on the resource configuration information may include: determining the time-domain resource of the SBFD subband based on the time-domain configuration information; and determining a frequency-domain resource of the SBFD subband based on the frequency-domain configuration information.
[0136] Specifically, based on the frequency-domain configuration information, the frequency-domain resource of the SBFD subband may be determined in any one of the following manners: in manner one, based on the frequency-domain configuration information, CRBs of SBFD subbands in carrier bandwidths corresponding to different SCSs for one carrier are determined; and in manner two, based on the frequency-domain configuration information, a CRB of an SBFD subband in a carrier bandwidth corresponding to one SCS for one carrier is determined; and based on the CRB of the SBFD subband in the carrier bandwidth corresponding to the one SCS, CRBs of SBFD subbands in carrier bandwidths corresponding to the remaining SCSs are determined.
[0137] In an embodiment, SBFD subbands in different carrier bandwidths satisfy at least one of the following rules:
[0138] frequency-domain resources of the SBFD subbands remain contiguous;
[0139] a first subcarrier of a start CRB of one SBFD subband is center-aligned with a first subcarrier of a start CRB of another SBFD subband;
[0140] a last subcarrier of an end CRB of one SBFD subband is center-aligned with a last subcarrier of an end CRB of another SBFD subband;
[0141] a center of a last subcarrier of an end CRB of one SBFD subband is aligned with an end of a last subcarrier of an end CRB of another SBFD subband;
[0142] a center of a first subcarrier of a start CRB of one SBFD subband is aligned with a start of a first subcarrier of a start CRB of another SBFD subband;
[0143] the number of CRBs of one SBFD subband is 2u2-u1 times the number of CRBs of another SBFD subband, where u1 and u2 are both constants, an SCS of the one SBFD subband is 15*2u1 kHz, an SCS of the other SBFD subband is 15*2u2 kHz, and u2 is greater than u1; or
[0144] an SBFD subband includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to an SCS corresponding to the SBFD subband.
[0145] The following exemplary descriptions of configuring the SBFD subband in the time domain and the frequency domain illustrate the resource determination method provided in the present application. In the following examples, the first communication node is a UE, and the second communication node is a base station.
[0146] Example 1-1 of configuring the SBFD subband in the time domain
[0147] The base station and the UE agree that the base station determines which symbols within one SBFD period are configured as the SBFD subband based on at least one of a start slot, a start symbol, an end slot, or an end symbol.
[0148] A period of the SBFD subband (denoted as an SBFD period) is equal to one or more TDD frame structure periods. The following method may be used to configure slots and / or symbols of the SBFD subband in one SBFD period (or one TDD frame structure period).
[0149] Parameter 1: Start slot
[0150] Parameter 1 is used to describe the first slot configured as the SBFD subband in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). The specific signaling design includes determining the number of bits of parameter 1 in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) based on a sum of the number of all S slots and / or all flexible slots (F slots) and the number of all DL slots (excluding UL slots). For example, the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) includes seven DL slots, one S slot, and two UL slots. Assuming that the base station instructs the UE (or the base station and the UE agree) that the SBFD subband is configured in the DL slots, S slots, and F slots, the base station determines that the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) includes eight slots (i.e., seven DL slots and one S slot). Therefore, the number of bits of parameter 1 is determined as 3 bits. Of course, without considering the signaling overhead of parameter 1, the number of bits of parameter 1 may also be determined based on the number of all slots in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). Parameter 1 is determined based on the first slot (or the first D slot, or the first S slot, or the first F slot) in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period).
[0151] It should be noted that the S slot contains at least one UL symbol and at least one DL symbol. If a slot contains a DL symbol, the slot is referred to as a DL slot. In the present application, if a slot contains a flexible symbol (F symbol), the slot is referred to as an F slot. If all F symbols in an F slot are configured as UL symbols by TDD-UL-DL-ConfigDedicated and downlink control information (DCI) signaling (e.g., the SFI in DCI format 2_0), or if all F symbols in an F slot are configured for semi-static uplink transmission (e.g., physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) / physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) / physical random access channel (PRACH) / sounding reference signal (SRS)), this F slot is not included in the F slot described in the present application; otherwise, the F slot is included in the F slot described in the present application.
[0152] Parameter 1 may also be used to indicate the maximum number of slots allowed to be configured for the SBFD subband in the SBFD period or the TDD frame structure period. That is, the SBFD subband is allowed to be configured with n slots among all S slots and / or all F slots and all DL slots (or among the remaining slots except for the UL slots) in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). The value of n may be configured by the base station or agreed upon by the base station and the UE. For example, the number n of slots here may be the maximum number of SBFD slots allowed to be configured in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) as agreed upon by the base station and the UE. If the value of n is not configured, all S slots and / or all F slots and all DL slots (or the remaining slots except for the UL slots) in this SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) are allowed to be configured as the SBFD subband by default. These n slots may be the first n or last n slots among all S slots and / or all F slots, and all DL slots (or among the remaining slots except for the UL slots) in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). For example, the n DL slots may be the first n DL slots or the last n DL slots in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period); or if the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) includes two TDD frame structure periods, the n DL slots may be the first n DL slots or the last n DL slots in the second (or first) TDD frame structure period in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) (the specific TDD frame structure period may be indicated by signaling or may be predefined). For another example, a set containing n values is agreed upon or configured. For example, the set contains values {1, 2, 3, 4}, and the number of bits of parameter 1 is determined based on the number of elements configured in the set, thus reducing the signaling overhead of parameter 1. For another example, if the set is not configured, the base station and the UE agree that the first DL slot in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) is determined as the aforementioned start slot, thus saving the signaling overhead of parameter 1. For another example, if the set is configured, but the base station does not provide parameter 1 (based on the set), the base station and the UE agree that parameter 1 is equal to the first value in the set, which can also reduce the signaling overhead.
[0153] Parameter 1 may also be omitted; for example, parameter 1 is not provided, but the base station and the UE agree on a start slot in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). For example, it is agreed that the start slot is the first (or second) DL slot, the first (or second) S slot, or the first (or second) F slot (among the remaining slots except for the UL slots) in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). That is, it is agreed that the start slot is a certain slot among the first p (p is configured or predefined, e.g., p is less than 4) DL slots in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period).
[0154] Parameter 2: Start symbol
[0155] Parameter 2 is used to describe the start symbol of the SBFD subband in the determined start slot. The design of parameter 2 aims to determine the start symbol in the determined start slot in a manner similar to determining the start slot in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). The specific signaling design includes determining the number of bits of parameter 2 within the start slot based on the number of all DL symbols and / or F symbols (i.e., excluding UL symbols). For example, the start slot includes seven DL symbols, one F symbol, and two UL symbols. Assuming that the base station indicates to the UE (or the base station and the UE agree) that the SBFD subband is configured in the DL symbols and the F symbols, the base station determines that the start slot includes eight symbols (i.e., seven DL symbols and one F symbol). Therefore, the number of bits of parameter 2 is determined as 3 bits. Of course, without considering the signaling overhead of parameter 2, the number of bits of parameter 2 may also be determined based on the number of all symbols (14) in the start slot. The value of parameter 2 is determined based on the first symbol (or the first D symbol, or the first F symbol) in the start slot.
[0156] It should be noted that in the present application, if an F symbol is configured as a UL symbol by TDD-UL-DL-ConfigDedicated and DCI signaling (e.g., the SFI in DCI format 2_0), or if an F symbol is configured for semi-static uplink transmission (e.g., PUSCH / PUCCH / PRACH / SRS), the F symbol is not included in the F symbol described in the present application; otherwise, the F symbol is included in the F symbol described in the present application.
[0157] Parameter 2 may also be indicated from k1 symbols (generally DL symbols) in the start slot. For example, the value of k1 may be configured by the base station or agreed upon by the base station and the UE. For example, the k1 symbols may be the first k1 (DL) symbols or the last k1 (DL) symbols in the start slot. For another example, a set containing k1 values is agreed upon or configured. For example, the set contains values {1, 2, 3, 4}, and the number of bits of parameter 2 is determined based on the number of elements configured in the set, thus reducing the signaling overhead of parameter 2. For another example, if the set is not configured, the base station and the UE agree that the first symbol in the start slot is determined as the aforementioned start symbol, thus saving the signaling overhead of parameter 2. For another example, if the set is configured, but the base station does not provide parameter 2 (based on the set), the base station and the UE agree that parameter 2 is equal to the first value in the set, which can also reduce the signaling overhead.
[0158] Parameter 2 may also be omitted; for example, parameter 2 is not provided, but the base station and the UE agree on a start symbol in the start slot. For example, it is agreed that the start symbol is the first (or second) symbol in the start slot, that is, it is agreed that the start symbol is a certain symbol among the first p1 (p1 is configured or predefined, e.g., p1 is less than 4) symbols in the start slot.
[0159] Parameter 3: End slot
[0160] Parameter 3 is used to describe the last slot configured as the SBFD subband in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). Alternatively, parameter 3 is used to describe the number of slots continuously configured as the SBFD subband from the start slot in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) (that is, parameter 3 describes the number of consecutive slots, and the following specific signaling design may also be adopted). The specific signaling design includes determining the number of bits of parameter 3 in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) based on a sum of the number of all S slots and / or all flexible slots (F slots) and the number of all DL slots (i.e., excluding UL slots). For example, the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) includes seven DL slots, one S slot and two UL slots. Assuming that the base station instructs the UE (or the base station and the UE agree) that the SBFD subband is configured in the DL slots, S slots and F slots, the base station determines that the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) includes eight slots (i.e., seven DL slots and one S slot). Therefore, the number of bits of parameter 3 is determined as 3 bits. Of course, without considering the signaling overhead of parameter 3, the number of bits of parameter 3 may also be determined based on the number of all slots in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). The value of parameter 3 is determined based on the first slot (or the first D slot, or the first S slot, or the first F slot) in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period).
[0161] Parameter 3 may also be used to indicate the maximum number of slots allowed to be configured for the SBFD subband in the SBFD period or the TDD frame structure period. That is, the SBFD subband is allowed to be configured with u slots among all S slots and / or all F slots and all DL slots (or among the remaining slots except for the UL slots) in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). The value of u may be configured by the base station or agreed upon by the base station and the UE. For example, the number u of slots here may be the maximum number of SBFD slots allowed to be configured in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) as agreed upon by the base station and the UE. If the value of u is not configured, all S slots and / or all F slots and all DL slots (or the remaining slots except for the UL slots) in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) are allowed to be configured as the SBFD subband by default. The u slots may be the first u slots or the last u slots among all the S slots and / or all the F slots, and all the DL slots (or among the remaining slots except for the UL slots) in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). For example, the u DL slots and / or S slots may be the last u DL slots and / or S slots or the first u DL slots and / or S slots in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period); or if the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) includes two TDD frame structure periods, the u DL slots may be the first u DL slots or the last u DL slots in the second (or first) TDD frame structure period in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) (the specific TDD frame structure period may be indicated by signaling or may be predefined). For another example, a set containing u values is agreed or configured. For example, the set contains values {1, 2, 3, 4}, and the number of bits of parameter 3 is determined based on the number of elements configured in the set, thus reducing the signaling overhead of parameter 3. For another example, if the set is not configured, the base station and the UE agree that the last DL slot or the last S slot in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) is determined as the aforementioned end slot, thus saving the signaling overhead of parameter 3. For another example, if the set is configured, but the base station does not provide parameter 3 (based on the set), the base station and the UE agree that parameter 3 is equal to the first value in the set, which can also reduce the signaling overhead.
[0162] Parameter 3 may also be omitted; for example, parameter 3 is not provided, but the base station and the UE agree on an end slot in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). For example, it is agreed that the end slot is the last (or next-to-last) DL slot, the last (or next-to-last) S slot, or the last (or next-to-last) F slot in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). That is, it is agreed that the end slot is a certain slot among at least one of the last p2 (p2 is configured or predefined, e.g., p2 is less than 4) DL slots, the last p2 S slots or the last p2 F slots in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period).
[0163] In another possible implementation, the end slot may be determined based on the start slot and the number of consecutive slots. Therefore, parameter 3 is used to describe the number of slots continuously configured as the SBFD subband from the start slot in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). The above same principle for parameter 3 may be reused, and will not be repeated here. The specific signaling design includes determining the number of bits of parameter 3 in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) based on a sum of the number of all S slots and / or all F slots and the number of all DL slots (i.e., excluding UL slots). For example, the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) includes seven DL slots, one S slot, and two UL slots.
[0164] Parameter 3 may also be used to indicate the maximum number of slots allowed to be configured for the SBFD subband in the SBFD period or the TDD frame structure period. That is, the SBFD subband is allowed to be configured with u slots among the DL slots and / or S slots in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). The value of u may be configured by the base station or agreed upon by the base station and the UE. For example, the u DL slots and / or S slots may be the last u DL slots and / or S slots or the first u DL slots and / or S slots in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period); or if the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) includes two TDD frame structure periods, the u DL slots and / or S slots may be the last u DL slots and / or S slots or the first u DL slots and / or S slots in the second (or first) TDD frame structure period in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) (the specific TDD frame structure period may be indicated by signaling or may be predefined). For another example, a set containing u values is agreed or configured. For example, the set contains values {1, 2, 3, 4}, and the number of bits of parameter 3 is determined based on the number of elements configured in the set, thus reducing the signaling overhead of parameter 3. For another example, if the set is not configured, the base station and the UE agree that the last DL slot or the last S slot in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) is the aforementioned end slot, thus saving the signaling overhead of parameter 3. For another example, if the set is configured, but the base station does not provide parameter 3 (based on the set), the base station and the UE agree that parameter 3 is equal to the first value in the set, which can also reduce the signaling overhead.
[0165] Parameter 3 may also be omitted; for example, parameter 3 is not provided, but the base station and the UE agree on the number of consecutive slots in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). For example, in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period), it is agreed that the consecutive slots start from the indicated start slot and end at the last (or second-to-last) DL slot, the last (or second-to-last) S slot, or the last (or second-to-last) F slot.
[0166] Parameter 4: End symbol
[0167] Parameter 4 is used to describe the end symbol of the SBFD subband in the determined end slot. The specific signaling design includes determining the number of bits of parameter 4 based on the number of all DL symbols and / or F symbols (i.e., excluding UL symbols) within the end slot. For example, the end slot includes seven DL symbols, one F symbol and two UL symbols. Assuming that the base station indicates to the UE (or the base station and the UE agree) that the SBFD subband is configured in the DL symbols and the F symbols, the base station determines that the end slot includes eight symbols (i.e., seven DL symbols and one F symbol). Therefore, the number of bits of parameter 4 is determined as 3 bits. Of course, without considering the signaling overhead of parameter 4, the number of bits of parameter 4 may also be determined based on the number of all symbols (14) in the start slot. It should be noted that the value of parameter 4 in the present application is determined based on the first symbol (or the first D symbol or the first F symbol) in the end slot.
[0168] Parameter 4 may also be indicated from k2 symbols (generally DL symbols or F symbols, excluding UL symbols) in the end slot. For example, the value of k2 may be configured by the base station or agreed upon by the base station and the UE. For example, the k2 symbols may be the first k2 symbols or the last k2 symbols in the end slot. For another example, a set containing k2 values is agreed upon or configured. For example, the set contains values {1, 2, 3, 4}, and the number of bits of parameter 4 is determined based on the number of elements configured in the set, thus reducing the signaling overhead of parameter 4. It should be noted that the last symbol means that the end symbol is the last DL symbol or the last F symbol in the end slot, the second-to-last symbol means that the end symbol is the second-to-last DL symbol or the second-to-last F symbol in the end slot, and so on. For another example, if the set is not configured, the base station and the UE agree that the last DL symbol or the last F symbol in the end slot is the end symbol, thus saving the signaling overhead of parameter 4. For another example, if the set is configured, but the base station does not provide parameter 4 (based on the set), the base station and the UE agree that parameter 4 is equal to the first value in the set, which can also reduce the signaling overhead.
[0169] Parameter 4 may also be omitted; for example, parameter 4 is not provided, but the base station and the UE agree on an end symbol in the end slot. For example, it is agreed that the end symbol is the last (or second-to-last) DL symbol or F symbol in the end slot, that is, it is agreed that the end symbol is a certain symbol among the last p3 (p3 is configured or predefined, e.g., p3 is less than 4) symbols in the end slot.
[0170] The above parameter 1, parameter 2, parameter 3, or parameter 4 may also be omitted in the SBFD subband configuration below.
[0171] In addition, in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period), the remaining slots except for UL slots (the remaining slots include DL slots, S slots and F slots) are taken as a set (the set is only for ease of description and does not affect the essence of the method, and the original order of these slots remains unchanged in the time domain). The first slot in the set is used as the starting point, and parameter 1 and parameter 3 are used to determine which slots are configured as the SBFD subband. Furthermore, parameter 2 is used to describe the start symbol of the start slot, and parameter 4 is used to describe the end symbol of the end slot. Of course, parameter 3 and parameter 4 may be omitted; in this case, the end slot of the last slot is determined as the end symbol is the last DL symbol or the last F symbol in the last slot in the set by default. Of course, parameter 1 and parameter 3 may also be encoded as a single parameter. For example, if parameter 1 is the start slot and parameter 3 is the number of consecutive slots, parameter 1 and parameter 3 may be jointly encoded to form a start and length indicator value (SLIV) parameter (referring to TS38.214 for details) to reduce the signaling overhead, thereby determining the SBFD slots. Then, parameter 2 and parameter 4 are further used to determine the start symbol and the end symbol. The related restrictions for parameter 1 to parameter 4 may be reused without conflict.
[0172] FIG. 7 is a schematic diagram for configuring the SBFD subband based on Example 1-1 according to an embodiment. As shown in FIG. 7, in the time domain, the time-domain gaps need to be configured on both sides of the SBFD subband. Of course, instead of being explicitly configured, the first time-domain gap may generally be implicitly included in the symbols of the UL subband or in the DL symbols adjacent to the gap; while the second time-domain gap generally needs to be explicitly configured. In any case, the presence of the time-domain gaps leads to potential resource waste and results in an excessive number of transition points. Here, the transition point refers to a transition point between the SBFD symbol and the non-SBFD symbol, and one transition point corresponds to one gap.
[0173] FIG. 8 is a schematic diagram for configuring the SBFD subband based on Example 1-2 according to an embodiment. As an improved configuration, as shown in FIG. 8, in the time domain, the time-domain gaps need to be configured on both sides of the SBFD subband. Of course, instead of being explicitly configured, the first time-domain gap may generally be implicitly included in the symbols of the UL subband or in the DL symbols adjacent to the gap; while the second time-domain gap generally needs to be explicitly configured. In FIG. 8, since the end of the SBFD subband is configured as the last DL symbol or the last F symbol in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period), the second time-domain gap overlaps the gap between the DL symbol and the UL symbol in the TDD frame structure. In other words, the second time-domain gap reuses the existing gap between the DL symbol and the UL symbol in the TDD frame structure, thus reducing the number of gaps and the number of transition points.
[0174] Therefore, in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period), the end of the SBFD subband is always configured at the last DL symbol or F symbol in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). That is, the SBFD subband is always configured or determined by default to end at the last DL symbol or F symbol of the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period), thus reducing the number of time-domain gaps.
[0175] Example 1-2 of configuring the SBFD subband in the time domain
[0176] In the related art, DL slots, S slots and UL slots in a TDD frame structure are arranged in the following order in the TDD frame structure: the DL slots, the S slots and the UL slots. This arrangement can reduce the number of gaps between the DL slots and the UL slots or gaps between the DL symbols and the UL symbols in the time domain. Based on this, the present application provides an SBFD subband configuration method.
[0177] Assuming that the base station intends to configure m slots for the SBFD subband in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period), the specific SBFD subband configuration is as follows: the base station and the UE agree that the last m slots (excluding the UL slots) in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) are configured as the SBFD subband. That is, in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period), among the remaining slots except for the UL slots (the remaining slots include the DL slots, the S slots and the F slots), m consecutive slots starting from the last slot and extending backward are configured as the SBFD subband. The value of m is indicated by the base station via signaling, or the value of m is agreed upon by the base station and the UE. Based on this, the slots configured as the SBFD subband in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period) are determined. Then, in each SBFD period (or each TDD frame structure period), the same SBFD slot (a slot configured as the SBFD subband is referred to as an SBFD slot) pattern is repeated.
[0178] For example, the base station indicates the value of m to the UE via signaling (such as RRC signaling, DCI signaling, or media access control element (MAC CE) signaling). The number of bits of the signaling is determined based on the number of the above-mentioned remaining slots in the SBFD period. The UE receives the value of m, and configures the last m slots among the S slots and / or F slots and the DL slots as the SBFD subband in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). In this manner, configuring only one parameter to determine the SBFD slots not only minimizes signaling overhead, but also maintains the continuity between the slots configured as the SBFD subband and the UL slots in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period), thus reducing the gaps between SBFD symbols and non-SBFD symbols in the time domain.
[0179] In the configured SBFD slots, it is further determined which symbols are configured as the SBFD subband. For example, parameter 2 and parameter 4 in the above Example 1-1 are reused. For example, parameter 2 is used to describe the start symbol of the SBFD subband in the determined start slot. For example, parameter 4 is used to describe the end symbol of the SBFD subband in the determined end slot.
[0180] To minimize the signaling overhead, both parameter 2 and parameter 4 may be omitted. For example, when parameter 2 is omitted, it indicates that the first symbol in the start slot is determined as the start symbol. When parameter 4 is omitted, it indicates that the last symbol in the end slot is determined as the end symbol. Thus, in the improved Example 1-2, only the value of m needs to be indicated by signaling. To reduce the number of gaps, parameter 4 may always be omitted; that is, parameter 4 is not needed. For example, the base station and the UE always default to ending the SBFD subband at the last DL symbol or F symbol (excluding the UL symbols) of the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). In this manner, two parameters (i.e., the end slot and the end symbol) can be omitted, and the number of time-domain gaps can also be effectively reduced.
[0181] Example 2-1: configuring the SBFD subband in the time domain
[0182] Another improved configuration method specifically includes that the symbols allowed to be configured as the SBFD subband are taken as a symbol set (the term "symbol set" is only for ease of description and does not affect the essence of the method, and the original order of these symbols remains unchanged in the time domain) in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). The last symbol of the symbol set is taken as the starting point, a parameter is used to describe the number of consecutive symbols configured as the SBFD subband in the set, and the number of bits of this parameter is determined based on the number of symbols in the set. Alternatively, the first symbol of the symbol set is taken as the starting point, and a parameter is used to describe the start symbol configured as the SBFD subband in the set. By default, all symbols from the indicated start symbol to the last symbol in the set are configured as the SBFD subband. Alternatively, the first symbol in the symbol set is taken as the starting point, and two parameters are used to respectively describe the number of consecutive symbols and the start symbol for the SBFD subband in the set. For example, one parameter is used to describe the number of consecutive symbols and the other parameter is used to describe the start symbol. Here, the two parameters may be encoded into an SLIV parameter, thus reducing the overhead.
[0183] Here, the symbols allowed to be configured as the SBFD subband include DL symbols and / or F symbols, excluding UL symbols. The F symbols are not configured for semi-static UL transmission (e.g., PUSCH / PUCCH / PRACH / SRS), or the F symbols are not configured as UL symbols by TDD-UL-DL-ConfigDedicated and DCI signaling (e.g., the SFI in DCI format 2_0) (referring to TS38.212).
[0184] Example 2-2: configuring the SBFD subband in the time domain
[0185] Another improved configuration method specifically includes that slots allowed to be configured for the SBFD subband are taken as a slot set (the term "slot set" is only for ease of description and does not affect the essence of the method, and the original order of these slots remains unchanged in the time domain) in the SBFD period (or the TDD frame structure period). The last slot in the slot set is taken as the starting point, and a parameter is used to describe the number of consecutive slots configured as the SBFD subband in the set. Alternatively, the last slot in the slot set is taken as the starting point, and two parameters are used to describe the number of consecutive slots configured as the SBFD subband and the slot position in the set. For example, one parameter is used to describe the number of slots, and the other parameter is used to describe the start slot. Here, the two parameters may be encoded into one parameter, that is, the start slot and the number of slots may be jointly encoded into one parameter (i.e., the SLIV structure), thus reducing the overhead. In the determined SBFD slots, the SBFD symbols are further configured based on the above method; for example, the symbols configured for the SBFD subband are determined by configuring the start symbol and the number of symbols or by configuring the start symbol and the end symbol.
[0186] The slots allowed to be configured for the SBFD subband include S slots and / or F slots, and DL slots, excluding UL slots. All symbols in the F slot are not configured for semi-static UL transmission (e.g., PUSCH / PUCH / PRACH / SRS), or all F symbols in the F slot are not configured as UL symbols by TDD-UL-DL-ConfigDedicated and the SFI in DCI format 2_0 (referring to TS38.212).
[0187] In some cases, if one SBFD period includes two or more TDD frame structure periods, the following SBFD subband configuration manners are considered:
[0188] Manner 1: in one SBFD period, the SBFD subband is configured based on the TDD frame structure period, that is, the SBFD subband in each TDD frame structure period is configured independently. In this manner, in one SBFD period, each TDD frame structure period reuses any of the above SBFD subband configuration methods. The number of bits of parameter 1 and the number of bits of parameter 3 are determined based on the remaining slots except for the UL slots in the TDD frame structure period.
[0189] Manner 2: in one SBFD period, signaling indication or pre-definition is used to indicate which TDD frame structure period the SBFD subband is configured in. In the determined TDD frame structure period, any one of the above SBFD subband configuration methods is reused. If Example 1-1 is used, the number of bits of parameter 1 and the number of bits of parameter 3 are determined based on the remaining slots except for the UL slots in the indicated / determined one or more TDD frame structure periods. If the above-mentioned manner (e.g., Example 1-2, Example 2-1 and Example 2-2) involving the slot set or the symbol set is used, the slot set or symbol set contains valid slots or symbols in the determined TDD frame structure period, excluding partial F slots or F symbols and excluding the UL slots or the UL symbols as described above.
[0190] To implement flexible configuration, if it is not indicated that the SBFD subband is configured in which TDD frame structure period in the SBFD period, the SBFD subband may be configured in all TDD frame structure periods in the SBFD period by default, and any one of the above-mentioned SBFD subband configuration methods is reused. The number of bits of parameter 1 and the number of bits of parameter 3 are determined based on the remaining slots except for the UL slots in all TDD frame structure periods in the SBFD period.
[0191] Note 1: in the present application, in Example 1-1, the number of bits of parameters may also be determined based on the number of all slots or the number of all symbols in the SBFD period, including, for example, including UL slots and UL symbols, and all F slots and F symbols, without excluding UL slots and UL symbols, and without excluding F symbols / slots configured as UL symbols or F symbols / slots configured for semi-static UL transmission.
[0192] Note 2: in the present application, when the slot set or symbol set in Example 1-2, Example 2-1, or Example 2-2 is determined, the set may be determined based on the number of all slots or symbols in the SBFD period, for example, including UL slots and UL symbols, and all F slots and F symbols, without excluding UL slots and UL symbols, and without excluding F symbols / slots configured as UL symbols or F symbols / slots configured for semi-static UL transmission.
[0193] In the present application, since a carrier may be configured with different SCSs, a respective SBFD subband may be configured in this carrier based on each SCS. Then, a method for simplifying the configuration of SBFD subbands corresponding to different SCSs is provided below.
[0194] Rule: the base station and the UE agree that if a carrier is configured with different SCSs, for example, SCS1 of 15 kHz and SCS2 of 30 kHz, in the time domain, SBFD subbands configured based on different SCSs are required to have the same time-domain position (e.g., slots and symbols). For example, the base station and the UE agree that if some slots and symbols are configured as the SBFD subband based on a reference SCS (e.g., assuming that the reference SCS is the smallest (or largest) SCS among the SCSs configured for the carrier, and here assuming that SCS1 of 15 kHz is taken as the reference SCS), then slots or symbols corresponding to the SCS of 30 kHz that overlap these slots and symbols in the time domain are also configured as the SBFD subband. In this manner, the base station configures only one SBFD subband based on a single SCS, and the slots and symbols of the SBFD subband corresponding to the other SCS may be determined based on the above rules, thus reducing the signaling overhead. The reference SCS may be configured by the base station, for example, the value of the reference SCS is not greater than any of the SCSs of all BWPs of the carrier. Such an SCS corresponds to the shortest slot / symbol, and when this slot / symbol is used as the basic unit to configure the SBFD slots / symbols, it is easy to implement boundary alignment of SBFD slots / symbols under different SCSs. For a carrier, the reference SCS is used to determine the time-domain boundary in the SBFD slot / symbol pattern, and the SBFD slot / symbol pattern is shared by all SCSs.
[0195] Assuming that u corresponding to the SCSs configured for a carrier includes u1 and u2, and u1 is less than or equal to u2 (the relationship between u and SCS is shown in Table 1). Table 1: Relationship table between u and SCS (applicable to the present application) u SCS = 2u x 15 [kHz] 0 15 1 30 2 60 3 120 4 240 5 480 6 960
[0196] If the reference SCS corresponds to u1, the corresponding slot m is configured as the SBFD subband, and it is assumed that the other SCS configured for this carrier corresponds to u2, then for the other SCS, the slots configured for the SBFD subband include: slot(2u2-u1xm) to slot(2"2 "Ixm-2"2 ul I). If the reference SCS corresponds to u1, the corresponding symbol k is configured as the SBFD subband, and the other SCS configured for this carrier corresponds to u2, then for the other SCS, the symbol configured as the SBFD subband is ^^^^^^^1). The above formula is applicable to the case where u1 is less than or equal to u2.
[0197] If the reference SCS is the largest among different SCSs configured for the carrier, the above formula is no longer applicable; however, the following rule is still applicable: in the time domain, the corresponding SBFD subbands configured based on different SCSs are required to have the same time-domain position (e.g., slot and symbol). For example, a carrier is configured with the SCS of 15 kHz and the SCS of 30 kHz, the SCS of 30 kHz is taken as the reference SCS, and a slot t is configured as the SBFD subband, then for the SCS of 15 kHz, a slot or symbol that overlaps the slot t in the time domain is configured as the SBFD subband (a slot or symbol that does not overlap the slot t in the time domain is not configured as the SBFD subband).
[0198] In this manner, the base station only configures the SBFD subband in the time domain based on the reference SCS, and then obtains the SBFD subband corresponding to the other SCS at the time-domain position (slot and / or symbol) by using the above rules, thus reducing configuration signaling.
[0199] FIG. 9 is a schematic diagram for configuring an SBFD subband in the time domain based on a reference SCS and obtaining an SBFD subband corresponding to another SCS at a time-domain position according to an embodiment. A carrier is configured with two SCSs, i.e., SCS of 15 kHz and SCS of 30 kHz. Assuming that FIG. 9 shows one SBFD period, and the SCS of 15 kHz is the reference SCS, the base station configures the SBFD subband in the time domain as shown in FIG. 9, specifically, the second slot (or symbol) to the eighth slot (or symbol) are configured as the SBFD subband. Furthermore, the base station and the UE agree that the slots (or symbols) configured as the SBFD subband corresponding to SCS2 of 30 kHz for the carrier overlap the slots (or symbols) configured as the SBFD subband corresponding to SCS1 of 15 kHz for the carrier in the time domain. That is, for SCS2 = 30 kHz, the slots (or symbols) configured as the SBFD subband include the third slot (or symbol) to the sixteenth slot (or symbol). It should be noted that the numbering in FIG. 9 is only a sequential numbering for ease of description, and is not a slot index or a symbol index.
[0200] FIG. 10 is another schematic diagram for configuring the SBFD subband based on Example 1-1 according to an embodiment. One SBFD period includes two TDD frame structure periods, and the above SBFD subband configuration method is used in each TDD frame structure period. In FIG. 10, two TDD frame structure periods have the same frame structure, and the same SBFD subband is configured in the two TDD frame structure periods. Of course, different SBFD subbands are configured in the two TDD frame structure periods.
[0201] The SBFD subband configuration result in FIG. 10 may also be configured based on the above Example 1-2. One SBFD period includes two TDD frame structure periods, and the SBFD subband in each TDD frame structure period is configured by using the above Example 1-1.
[0202] The SBFD subband configuration result in FIG. 10 may also be configured based on the above Example 2-1. One SBFD period includes two TDD frame structure periods, the symbols allowed to be configured for the SBFD subband in each TDD frame structure period are taken as a symbol set, and the SBFD subband in each TDD frame structure period is configured by using the above Example 2-1.
[0203] The SBFD subband configuration result in FIG. 10 may also be configured based on the above Example 2-2. One SBFD period includes two TDD frame structure periods, the symbols allowed to be configured for the SBFD subband in the SBFD period are taken as a symbol set, and then the SBFD subband in the SBFD period is configured by using the above Example 2-1.
[0204] FIG. 11 is another schematic diagram for configuring the SBFD subband based on Example 1-2 according to an embodiment. As an improved configuration, one SBFD period includes two TDD frame structure periods, and the number of slots starting from the last DL slot, the last S slot, or the last F slot and extending backward are configured as the SBFD subband in the SBFD period. FIG. 11 may also be understood as a configuration based on the above Example 2-1.
[0205] In the case where one SBFD period includes two or more TDD frame structure periods, the base station and the UE may also configure through signaling configuration or agree in advance in which TDD frame structure period in the SBFD period the SBFD subband is configured. In this manner, the above SBFD subband configuration method may be used for the determined TDD frame structure period.
[0206] In the above methods for configuring the SBFD subband, the base station may configure the values of corresponding parameters and send the values to the UE, and the base station determines resources of the SBFD subband based on the values and meanings of the parameters. The UE receives the parameter and determines the resource of an SBFD subband based on the values and meanings of the parameters. The base station and the UE may also reduce the configuration and transmission of some parameters through default or pre-defined rules. For example, the base station determines the resource of an SBFD subband based on the rules and the values of the configured parameters. The UE determines the resource of the SBFD subband based on the rules and the values of the received parameters.
[0207] Example 3: configuring the SBFD subband in the frequency domain
[0208] The carrier bandwidths are configured based on different SCSs for the carrier. The SBFD subbands are configured based on different SCSs and CRBs corresponding to the SCS within each carrier bandwidth. Each SCS for the carrier corresponds to one CRB grid, and the SBFD subband is configured based on CRBs corresponding to each SCS.
[0209] Example 3 offers high flexibility, but without constraints, obtaining SBFD subbands corresponding to different SCSs for a carrier based on Example 3 may complicate the SBFD subband operation of the base station. For example, the frequency-domain resources (e.g., subcarriers) actually used by different SBFD subbands are not aligned in the frequency domain, leading to more complicated design of analog filters on the base station side when the base station performs reception / transmission for different SBFD subbands. FIGS. 12 to 15 are four alignment examples of frequency-domain resources actually used by different SBFD subbands in the frequency domain according to an embodiment.
[0210] Different SBFD subbands are determined based on different SCSs for a carrier. These SBFD subbands need to comply with at least one of the following rules. That is, the base station, when configuring different SBFD subbands, needs to comply with at least one of the following rules:
[0211] Rule one: for one carrier, if different SBFD subbands are configured based on different SCSs for the carrier, the frequency-domain resources of the configured SBFD subbands remain contiguous, that is, no gap is present in the frequency domain. Rule 1 includes the following: different SBFD subbands overlap completely or partially in the frequency domain, and it is required that no frequency-domain gap is present between different SBFD subbands, for example, as illustrated in FIGS. 12, 13 and 15. In this manner, when the base station side performs the SBFD subband operation, the operation may be performed by using the union of frequency-domain resources of different SBFD subbands. It should be noted that in FIG. 14, a frequency-domain gap is present between different SBFD subbands.
[0212] Alternatively, the base station and the UE may agree that the overlapping frequency-domain resources between different SBFD subbands are taken as available SBFD subbands for all SCSs of the carrier. In this manner, the actual frequency-domain resources of the SBFD subbands corresponding to all SCSs of the carrier are the same, facilitating the base station in performing the SBFD operation. Furthermore, if different SBFD subbands are not consecutive in the frequency domain, such as the different SBFD subbands in FIG. 14, the base station and the UE may agree that the different SBFD subbands are all invalid SBFD subbands, or only the SBFD subband corresponding to the smallest (or largest) SCS is valid.
[0213] Rule two: for one carrier, the configured frequency-domain resources for different SBFD subbands are required to satisfy at least one of the following:
[0214] The first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of SBFD subband 1 is center-aligned with the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of SBFD subband 2; and / or, the center of the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of SBFD subband 1 is aligned with the end of the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of SBFD subband 2. FIG. 16 is a schematic diagram of frequency-domain resource configuration for different SBFD subbands according to an embodiment.
[0215] The last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of SBFD subband 1 is center-aligned with the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of SBFD subband 2; and / or, the center of the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of SBFD subband 1 is aligned with the start of the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of SBFD subband 2. FIG. 17 is another schematic diagram of frequency-domain resource configuration for different SBFD subbands according to an embodiment.
[0216] The number of frequency-domain CRBs of SBFD subband 1 is 2u2-u1 times the number of frequency-domain CRBs of SBFD subband 2, where u1 and u2 satisfy the following: SCS1 = 15*2u1 kHz, SCS2 = 15*2u2 kHz, and u1 and u2 are integers greater than or equal to 0. Optionally, u2 is greater than u1.
[0217] SBFD subband 1 includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS1.
[0218] SBFD subband 2 includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS2.
[0219] For example, the configuration in FIG. 16 may also be described as follows: the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of SBFD subband 1 is center-aligned with the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of SBFD subband 2. The number of frequency-domain CRBs of SBFD subband 1 is 2u2-u1 times the number of frequency-domain CRBs of SBFD subband 2.
[0220] For example, the configuration in FIG. 17 may also be described as follows: the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of SBFD subband 1 is center-aligned with the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of SBFD subband 2. The number of frequency-domain CRBs of SBFD subband 1 is 2u2-u1 times the number of frequency-domain CRBs of SBFD subband 2.
[0221] The above SBFD subbands each include one or two DL subbands and one UL subband, as well as a frequency-domain gap between the DL subband and the UL subband. One CRB or one RB includes twelve subcarriers numbered 0 to 11.
[0222] UL subband configuration
[0223] In a carrier, different UL subbands may be configured based on different SCSs of the carrier and CRBs corresponding to each SCS. Therefore, UL subbands corresponding to different SCSs also need to satisfy some requirements, effectively reducing the complexity of the base station, for example, simplifying UL reception of the base station from the UL subbands configured with different SCSs.
[0224] The requirements for different UL subbands here include the following: the above configuration method for SBFD subbands is applicable to the corresponding UL subband configuration, and similarly, the rule for different SBFD subbands is also applicable to different UL subbands (different UL subbands correspond to SCS1 and SCS2, respectively). For example, the SBFD subband is replaced with the UL subband. The following only takes Rule two described above as an example, and will not be repeated here.
[0225] For a carrier configured with SCS1 and SCS2, UL subband 1 and UL subband 2 are configured for SCS1 and SCS2, respectively. UL subband 1 and UL subband 2 are required to satisfy at least one of the following requirements:
[0226] The first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of UL subband 1 is center-aligned with the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of UL subband 2; and / or, the center of the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of UL subband 1 is aligned with the end of the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of UL subband 2. For example, referring to FIG. 16, "SBFD" is replaced with "UL".
[0227] The last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of UL subband 1 is center-aligned with the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of UL subband 2; and / or, the center of the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of UL subband 1 is aligned with the start of the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of UL subband 2. For example, referring to FIG. 17, "SBFD" is replaced with "UL".
[0228] The number of frequency-domain CRBs of UL subband 1 is 2u2-u1 times the number of frequency-domain CRBs of UL subband 2, where u1 and u2 satisfy the following: SCS1 = 15*2u1 kHz, SCS2 = 15*2u2 kHz, and u1 and u2 are integers greater than or equal to 0. Optionally, u2 is greater than u1.
[0229] UL subband 1 includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS1.
[0230] UL subband 2 includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS2.
[0231] For example, the SBFD subband in FIG. 16 may be replaced with the UL subband, then the illustration of the SBFD subband in FIG. 16 is modified to the illustration of the UL subband. In this manner, the UL subband configuration in FIG. 16 may be described as follows: the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of UL subband 1 is center-aligned with the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of UL subband 2. The number of frequency-domain CRBs of UL subband 1 is 2u2-u1 times the number of frequency-domain CRBs of UL subband 2.
[0232] Similarly, for example, the SBFD subband in FIG. 17 may be replaced with the UL subband, then the UL subband configuration in FIG. 17 may be described as follows: the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of UL subband 1 is center-aligned with the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of UL subband 2. The number of frequency-domain CRBs of SBFD subband 1 is 2u2-u1 times the number of frequency-domain CRBs of SBFD subband 2.
[0233] DL subband configuration
[0234] The "UL" in the above UL subband configuration method is replaced with "DL" to achieve the DL subband configuration.
[0235] In a carrier, different DL subbands may be configured based on different SCSs of the carrier and CRBs corresponding to each SCS. Therefore, the DL subbands corresponding to different SCSs also need to satisfy some requirements, effectively reducing the complexity of the base station, for example, simplifying DL transmission of the base station from the DL subbands configured with different SCSs.
[0236] The requirements for different DL subbands here include the following: the above configuration method for SBFD subbands is applicable to the corresponding DL subband configuration, and similarly, the rule for different SBFD subbands is also applicable to different DL subbands (different DL subbands correspond to SCS1 and SCS2, respectively). For example, the SBFD subband is replaced with the DL subband. The following only takes Rule two described above as an example, and will not be repeated here.
[0237] For a carrier configured with SCS1 and SCS2, DL subband 1 and DL subband 2 are configured for SCS1 and SCS2, respectively, and DL subband 1 and DL subband 2 are required to satisfy at least one of the following requirements:
[0238] The first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of DL subband 1 is center-aligned with the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of DL subband 2; and / or, the center of the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of DL subband 1 is aligned with the end of the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of DL subband 2. For example, referring to FIG. 16, "SBFD" is replaced with "DL".
[0239] The last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of DL subband 1 is center-aligned with the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of DL subband 2; and / or, the center of the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of DL subband 1 is aligned with the start of the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of DL subband 2. For example, referring to FIG. 17, "SBFD" is replaced with "DL".
[0240] The number of frequency-domain CRBs of DL subband 1 is 2u2-u1 times the number of frequency-domain CRBs of DL subband 2, where u1 and u2 satisfy the following: SCS1 = 15*2u1 kHz, SCS2 = 15*2u2 kHz, and u1 and u2 are integers greater than or equal to 0. Optionally, u2 is greater than u1.
[0241] DL subband 1 includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS1.
[0242] DL subband 2 includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS2.
[0243] For example, the SBFD subband in FIG. 16 may be replaced with the DL subband, then the illustration of the SBFD subband in FIG. 16 is modified to the illustration of the DL subband. In this manner, the DL subband configuration in FIG. 16 may be described as follows: the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of DL subband 1 is center-aligned with the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of DL subband 2. The number of frequency-domain CRBs of DL subband 1 is 2u2-u1 times the number of frequency-domain CRBs of DL subband 2.
[0244] Similarly, for example, the SBFD subband in FIG. 17 may be replaced with the DL subband, then the DL subband configuration in FIG. 17 may be described as follows: the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of DL subband 1 is center-aligned with the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of DL subband 2. The number of frequency-domain CRBs of SBFD subband 1 is 2u2-u1 times the number of frequency-domain CRBs of SBFD subband 2.
[0245] Since the frequency-domain pattern of the SBFD subband includes "DUD", for this pattern, the two DL subbands corresponding to SCS1 and the two DL subbands corresponding to SCS2 satisfy the above requirements, separately.
[0246] Frequency-domain gap configuration
[0247] If a carrier is configured with different SCSs, the carrier bandwidth corresponding to each SCS is configured or determined, and the corresponding DL subband and UL subband are configured in different carrier bandwidths, respectively, then the base station and the UE agree that the frequency-domain gap between the DL subband and UL subband corresponding to each SCS is configured or determined based on CRBs corresponding to each SCS.
[0248] For example, a carrier is configured with SCS1 of 15 kHz and SCS2 of 30 kHz. The base station configures carrier bandwidth 1 based on SCS1 and CRBs corresponding to SCS1, and configures two DL subbands 1 and one UL subband 1 in carrier bandwidth 1 to satisfy the "DUD" pattern. In this manner, frequency-domain gap2 between DL subbands 1 and UL subband 1 (the two gaps maintain equal size) is configured or determined based on CRBs corresponding to SCS1; for example, n CRBs are used as gap1, and n is an integer greater than or equal to 1. The base station configures carrier bandwidth 2 based on SCS2 and CRBs corresponding to SCS2, and configures two DL subbands 2 and one UL subband 2 in carrier bandwidth 2 to satisfy the "DUD" pattern. In this manner, frequency-domain gap2 between DL subbands 2 and UL subband 2 (the two gaps maintain equal size) is configured or determined based on SCS2 and CRBs corresponding to SCS2, for example, n1 CRBs are used as gap2, and n1 is an integer greater than or equal to 1.
[0249] The sizes of the gap between the UL subband and the DL subbands corresponding to different SCSs are independent and may be different. The first subcarrier adjacent to the UL subband side in the start CRB on the UL subband side of gap1 is center-aligned with the first subcarrier adjacent to the UL subband side in the start CRB on the UL subband side of gap2.
[0250] Furthermore, the sizes of the frequency-domain resources of gap1 and gap2 are required to be the same. In this case, which gap is used as the reference gap needs to be determined, and then the other gap is aligned with the reference gap in the frequency domain. For example, the largest or smallest SCS among the SCSs configured for the carrier is taken as the reference SCS, the gap between the UL subband and the DL subbands corresponding to this reference SCS is taken as the reference gap, and the gap corresponding to the other SCS is aligned with the reference gap in terms of frequency-domain resources. Alternatively, no reference gap is required, gap1 and gap2 may be configured for SCS1 and SCS2, respectively, and the configured gap1 and gap2 are required to satisfy at least one of the following requirements:
[0251] The first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of gap1 is center-aligned with the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) (of the start CRB) of gap2; and / or, the center of the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of gap1 is aligned with the end of the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) (of the end CRB) of gap2. For example, referring to FIG. 16, the "SBFD subband" is replaced with "gap".
[0252] The last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of gap1 is center-aligned with the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) (of the end CRB) of gap2; and / or, the center of the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of gap1 is aligned with the start of the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) (of the start CRB) of gap2. For example, referring to FIG. 17, the "SBFD subband" is replaced with "gap".
[0253] The number of frequency-domain CRBs of gap1 is 2u2-u1 times the number of frequency-domain CRBs of gap2, where u1 and u2 satisfy the following: SCS1 = 15*2u1 kHz, SCS2 = 15*2u2 kHz, and u1 and u2 are integers greater than or equal to 0.
[0254] gap1 includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS1.
[0255] gap2 includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS2.
[0256] gap1 includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS1, and the frequency domain resources of gap2 have the same size and position as the frequency domain resources of gap1. In this case, gap2 may not include an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS2.
[0257] gap2 includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS2, and the frequency domain resources of gap1 have the same size and position as the frequency domain resources of gap2. In this case, the gap still includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS1.
[0258] SBFD subband frequency-domain pattern configuration
[0259] In the present application, if a carrier is configured with different SCSs (carrier-level SCS), and different SBFD subbands are configured or obtained based on different SCSs, the base station and the UE agree that the same SBFD subband frequency-domain pattern is configured for different SBFD subbands. For example, the frequency-domain pattern includes "DUD", "DU" and "UD". If different SBFD subbands are configured with different frequency-domain patterns, the base station and the UE consider this to be an erroneous configuration.
[0260] Assuming that different SBFD subbands are allowed to be configured with different frequency-domain patterns, the UL subbands in the SBFD subbands are still required to satisfy the above requirements.
[0261] In the various methods for configuring the SBFD subband described above, the base station may configure the corresponding SBFD subband, UL subband, gap and frequency-domain pattern, ensure that the requirements described above are satisfied, and send relevant configuration signaling to the UE. The UE receives the corresponding configuration signaling. The UE expects that the SBFD subband, the UL subband, the gap and the frequency-domain pattern obtained according to the configuration signaling satisfy the requirements described above.
[0262] Example 4 of configuring the SBFD subband in the frequency domain
[0263] An SCS among different SCSs of the carrier is determined or agreed on, and an SBFD subband, a UL subband, or a frequency-domain gap in the carrier bandwidth corresponding to this SCS is configured based on this SCS and the CRBs corresponding to the SCS. Then, based on the frequency-domain resources of the configured SBFD subband, UL subband, DL subband, or frequency-domain gap, the frequency-domain resources of the SBFD subband, the UL subband, or the frequency-domain gap in the carrier bandwidth corresponding to the other SCS are derived. The determined or agreed SCS is the largest or smallest SCS among the SCSs configured for the carrier. Alternatively, the base station configures an SBFD subband based on the reference SCS and CRBs corresponding to the reference SCS, and the value of the reference SCS is not less than any of the SCSs of all BWPs of the carrier.
[0264] Example 1
[0265] SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1 or frequency-domain gap1) is configured or determined based on the smallest SCS and the CRBs corresponding to the smallest SCS, and then SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2 or frequency-domain gap2) corresponding to the other SCS is obtained through mapping based on SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1 or frequency-domain gap1).
[0266] For example, a carrier is configured with SCS1 of 15 kHz and SCS2 of 30 kHz. The base station and the UE agree to configure the SBFD subband, the UL subband, the DL subband, or the frequency-domain gap based on the smallest SCS. First, based on SCS1 and CRBs corresponding to SCS1, the SBFD subband, the UL subband, the DL subband, or the frequency-domain gap is configured in carrier bandwidth 1 corresponding to SCS1. Then, based on the configured frequency-domain resources of the SBFD subband, UL subband, DL subband, or frequency-domain gap, the other SBFD subband, UL subband, DL subband, or frequency-domain gap is obtained from carrier bandwidth 2 corresponding to SCS2 through mapping. FIG. 18 is a schematic diagram of frequency-domain resource mapping for an SBFD subband according to an embodiment. For example, in FIGS. 18 and 16, based on the configured SBFD subband 1 in carrier bandwidth 1, SBFD subband 2 in carrier bandwidth 2 is obtained through mapping. Similarly, "SBFD" is replaced with "UL", UL subband 2 in carrier bandwidth 2 is obtained through mapping based on the configured UL subband 1 in carrier bandwidth 1. "SBFD" is replaced with "DL", DL subband 2 in carrier bandwidth 2 is obtained through mapping based on the configured DL subband 1 in carrier bandwidth 1. "SBFD subband" is replaced with "gap", based on the configured gap1 in carrier bandwidth 1, gap2 in carrier bandwidth 2 is obtained through mapping.
[0267] Specifically, the mapping rule for obtaining the other SBFD subband 2, UL subband 2, DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2 based on one configured SBFD subband 1, UL subband 1, DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1 includes at least one of the following:
[0268] The first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) has the same center as the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2); and / or, the center of the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) is aligned with the end of the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of SBFD subband 2, that is, the center of the last subcarrier of the end CRB of SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) corresponding to a smaller SCS is aligned with the end of the last subcarrier of the end CRB of SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) corresponding to a larger SCS. For example, referring to FIG. 16, SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) is configured, and SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) is derived based on SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1).
[0269] The last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) has the same center as the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2); and / or, the center of the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) is aligned with the start of the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2). For example, referring to FIG. 17, SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) is configured, and SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) is derived based on SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1).
[0270] The number of frequency-domain CRBs of SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) is 2u2-u1 times the number of frequency-domain CRBs of SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2), where u1 and u2 satisfy the following: SCS1 = 15*2u1 kHz, SCS2 = 15*2u2 kHz, and u1 and u2 are integers greater than or equal to 0. Optionally, u2 is greater than u1.
[0271] SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS1.
[0272] SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) includes an integer or non-integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS2. Optionally, if it is not desired for SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) to include part of the CRBs corresponding to SCS2, it is required that the number of CRBs of SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) is 2u2-u1 times the number of CRBs of SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2).
[0273] The following manner of obtaining gap2 based on gap1 through mapping may also be considered: for example, in the above example, gap1 is configured or determined based on the smallest SCS (i.e., SCS1) and the corresponding CRBs. Assuming that gap1 is determined to include n3 CRBs of the CRBs corresponding to SCS1, the base station and the UE consider that in carrier bandwidth 2 corresponding to the other SCS (i.e., SCS2), gap2 includes n3 CRBs of the CRBs corresponding to SCS2. In this case, although both gap1 and gap2 include n3 CRBs, the frequency-domain size corresponding to gap2 is twice the frequency-domain size corresponding to gap1, since SCS2 is twice SCS1.
[0274] Example 2
[0275] SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) is configured or determined based on the largest SCS and the CRBs corresponding to the largest SCS, and then SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) corresponding to the other SCS is obtained through mapping based on SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2).
[0276] For example, a carrier is configured with SCS1 of 15 kHz and SCS2 of 30 kHz. The base station and the UE agree to configure the SBFD subband, the UL subband, the DL subband, or the frequency-domain gap based on the largest SCS. Firstly, based on SCS2 and CRBs corresponding to SCS2, the SBFD subband, the UL subband, the DL subband, or the frequency-domain gap is configured in carrier bandwidth 2 corresponding to SCS2. Then, based on the configured frequency-domain resources of the SBFD subband, UL subband, DL subband, or frequency-domain gap, the other SBFD subband, UL subband, DL subband, or frequency-domain gap is obtained from carrier bandwidth 1 corresponding to SCS1 through mapping. FIG. 19 is another schematic diagram of frequency-domain resource mapping for an SBFD subband according to an embodiment. For example, in FIGS. 19 and 17, based on configured SBFD subband 2 in carrier bandwidth 2, SBFD subband 1 in carrier bandwidth 1 is obtained through mapping. Similarly, "SBFD" is replaced with "UL", UL subband 1 in carrier bandwidth 1 is obtained through mapping based on the configured UL subband 2 in carrier bandwidth 2. "SBFD" is replaced with "DL", DL subband 1 in carrier bandwidth 1 is obtained through mapping based on the configured DL subband 2 in carrier bandwidth 2. "SBFD subband" is replaced with "gap", based on the configured gap2 in carrier bandwidth 2, gap1 in carrier bandwidth 1 is obtained through mapping.
[0277] Specifically, the mapping rule for obtaining the other SBFD subband 1, UL subband 1, DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1 based on one configured SBFD subband 2, UL subband 2, DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2 includes at least one of the following:
[0278] The first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) has the same center as the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1); and / or, the center of the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB ofSBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) is aligned with the end of the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of SBFD subband 2, that is, the center of the last subcarrier of the end CRB of SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) corresponding to a smaller SCS is aligned with the end of the last subcarrier of the end CRB of SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) corresponding to a larger SCS. For example, referring to FIG. 16, SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) is configured, and SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) is derived based on SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2).
[0279] The last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) has the same center as the last subcarrier (subcarrier 11) of the end CRB of SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1); and / or, the center of the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) is aligned with the start of the first subcarrier (subcarrier 0) of the start CRB of SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2). For example, referring to FIG. 17, SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) is configured, and SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) is derived based on SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2).
[0280] The number of frequency-domain CRBs of SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) is 2u2-u1 times the number of frequency-domain CRBs of SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2), where u1 and u2 satisfy the following: SCS1 = 15*2u1 kHz, SCS2 = 15*2u2 kHz, and u1 and u2 are integers greater than or equal to 0. Optionally, u2 is greater than u1.
[0281] SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS2.
[0282] SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) includes an integer number of CRBs corresponding to SCS1.
[0283] The following manner of obtaining gap1 based on gap2 through mapping may also be considered: for example, in the above example, gap2 is configured or determined based on the largest SCS (i.e., SCS2) and the corresponding CRBs. Assuming that gap2 is determined to include n4 CRBs of the CRBs corresponding to SCS2, the base station and the UE consider that in carrier bandwidth 1 corresponding to the other SCS (i.e., SCS1), gap1 includes n4 CRBs of the CRBs corresponding to SCS1. In this case, although both gap1 and gap2 include n4 CRBs, the frequency-domain size corresponding to gap2 is twice the frequency-domain size corresponding to gap1, since SCS2 is twice SCS1.
[0284] In the present application, the UL subband may be configured based on cell-common signaling, and the DL subband is configured based on UE-specific signaling; or conversely, the UL subband is configured based on UE-specific signaling, and the DL subband is configured based on cell-common signaling.
[0285] In some cases, the frequency-domain range of the SBFD subband (or UL subband, or DL subband, or frequency-domain gap) obtained based on the mapping rule may be outside the range of the carrier bandwidth corresponding to the SBFD subband (or UL subband, or DL subband, or frequency-domain gap). FIG. 20 is another schematic diagram of frequency-domain resource mapping for an SBFD subband according to an embodiment. For example, in FIG. 20, since the carrier bandwidths configured for different SCSs are different, SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) obtained through mapping based on the configured SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) is outside the frequency range of carrier bandwidth 1. In this case, the base station and the UE agree that the UE does not expect such a configuration; or the configuration of SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) is unreasonable; or the configuration is valid only for SBFD subband 2 (or UL subband 2, or DL subband 2, or frequency-domain gap2) corresponding to SCS2, and is invalid for SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1; or the frequency-domain resources of SBFD subband 1 (or UL subband 1, or DL subband 1, or frequency-domain gap1) located in carrier bandwidth 1 are valid, and the frequency-domain resources located outside carrier bandwidth 1 are invalid.
[0286] It should also be noted that (applicable to all situations described above in the present application), considering that no DL subband is configured in the SBFD symbols, and only the UL subband and the frequency-domain gap are configured in the SBFD symbols; in this case, the methods for how the base station transmits DL for an SBFD UE to receive and how the SBFD UE performs DL reception in the SBFD symbols are provided as follows:
[0287] The base station and the UE agree that if no DL subband is configured, or if the frequency-domain resources of the DL subband cannot be determined, the UE and the base station agree on the following rules:
[0288] 1) In the SBFD symbols, the frequency-domain resources for the UE performing the DL reception are in an active DL BWP (including the initial DL BWP) of the UE except for the frequency-domain resources of the UL subband and the frequency-domain gap. For simplicity, the base station may configure the boundaries of the active DL BWP of different UEs to be aligned so that the base station can obtain the "consecutive" same resource for DL reception of different UEs, since the remaining frequency-domain resources of the active DL BWP of different UEs, excluding the frequency-domain resources of the UL subband and the frequency-domain gap, are the same. The base station also performs transmission in the same frequency-domain resources for different UEs.
[0289] 2) In the SBFD symbols, the frequency-domain resources for the UE performing the DL reception are in the frequency-domain resources of the carrier bandwidth except for the frequency-domain resources of the UL subband and the frequency-domain gap. In this manner, the base station can obtain the consecutive same frequency-domain resource. Since the carrier bandwidth is the same for different UEs, the remaining frequency-domain resources in the carrier bandwidth, excluding the frequency-domain resources of the UL subband and the frequency-domain gap, are also the same consecutive frequency-domain resource. The base station performs transmissions in the same frequency-domain resource for different UEs.
[0290] 3) In the SBFD symbols, the frequency-domain resources for the UE performing the DL reception are in the frequency-domain resources of the carrier bandwidth except for the frequency-domain resources of the UL subband and the frequency-domain gap, and also in the frequency-domain resources of the active DL BWP of the UE. That is, in the frequency domain, these frequency-domain resources are in an intersection between the frequency-domain resources of the active DL BWP of the UE and the remaining frequency-domain resources in the carrier bandwidth except the frequency-domain resources of the UL subband and the frequency-domain gap. In this manner, the base station can obtain the consecutive same frequency-domain resource for transmitting DL reception. Since the frequency-domain positions of the active DL BWPs of different UEs are different, the intersections of the frequency-domain resources obtained by different UEs may be different, but are all in the same consecutive frequency-domain resources.
[0291] The rules in the above method may be followed by both the base station and the UE. The UE performs DL reception according to the rules, and the base station sends corresponding DL reception according to the rules.
[0292] FIG. 21 is a schematic structural diagram of a resource determination apparatus according to an embodiment. The end slot is replaceable by the number of consecutive slots starting from the start slot.
[0306] When the end symbol is absent, the last symbol among the remaining symbols in one SBFD period or in one TDD frame structure period, except for an uplink symbol or a flexible symbol, is taken as the end symbol by default. The special slots include at least one of a first slot or a second slot. The first slot includes at least one uplink symbol and at least one downlink symbol.
