Abstract

Abstract A method for producing a granulated fertiliser material, the method including: combining, in a predefined ratio, a lignite material and a nitrogen containing material (preferably urea) and, preferably, a microorganism-containing material obtained by fermentation, thereby to define a combined mixture; processing the combined mixture via a plurality of steps, including: (i) crushing; (ii) blending; (iii) granulating; and (iv) drying; wherein the processing step produces granules defining the granulated fertiliser.
