Abstract
18 Abstract The present disclosure relates to a modular shroud panel system for attachment to an exterior wall surface near a window or similar opening. The system comprises a fixing panel member and an infill panel member. The fixing panel member includes a back plate with fastener apertures for secure attachment and a top plate at an acute angle to facilitate water runoff. The infill panel member conceals the back plate and fasteners, ensuring a seamless appearance and improved weather resistance. The system further includes embodiments with a centre plate parallel to the infill panel member and projecting flanges with fastener apertures for interconnection. A window shroud may be formed by combining multiple shroud panels, including bottom, side, and top panels forming an apex. This modular design simplifies installation, eliminates post - installation rendering, and enhances durability, making it a cost-effective and structurally reliable solution for architectural applications.
