DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0042] The specific embodiments of the present disclosure are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are only for illustrating and explaining the present disclosure, and are not intended to limit the present disclosure.
[0043] In the present disclosure, for ease of description, a three-coordinate system, i.e., an XYZ coordinate system, is defined for the tray body of the battery pack. Referring to FIG. 2, the X direction corresponds to the width direction of the tray body, and may also refer to the length direction of the battery cells of the battery assembly in the tray body, or to the width direction of a vehicle. The Y direction corresponds to the length direction of the tray body, and may also refer to the thickness direction of the battery cells of the battery assembly in the tray body, or to the length direction of the vehicle. The Z direction corresponds to the height direction of the tray body, and may also refer to the height direction of the battery cells of the battery assembly in the tray body, or to the height direction of the vehicle. Unless stated to the contrary, "inner" and "outer" refer to the inner and outer sides relative to the contour of the component or structure itself. In addition, it should be noted that terms such as "first" and "second" are used to distinguish one element from another, and do not imply order or importance. Furthermore, in the description with reference to the drawings, the same reference numerals in different drawings denote the same elements.
[0044] According to a first aspect of the present disclosure, a tray assembly is provided. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 12, the tray assembly includes a tray body 1, the tray body 1 is provided with a first accommodation recess 130 for accommodating a battery assembly 2, an exhaust channel 3, and an air inlet 310 and an air outlet 320 communicated with the exhaust channel 3, such that at least part of gas in the first accommodation recess 130 can be discharged to the outside of the tray body 1 sequentially through the air inlet 310, the exhaust channel 3, and the air outlet 320, and along a height direction of the tray body 1, the air inlet 310 is higher than the air outlet 320.
[0045] Through the above technical solutions, i.e., the tray assembly provided by the present disclosure, along the height direction of the tray body 1, by configuring the air inlet 310 communicated with the exhaust channel 3 to be higher than the air outlet 320 communicated with the exhaust channel 3, it is possible to efficiently discharge high-temperature and high-pressure gas discharged from, for example, the second explosion-proof valve 220 of the battery assembly 2 in the first accommodation recess 130 to the outside of the tray body 1 during thermal runaway of the battery pack, thereby reducing the occurrence of fire in the battery pack or prolonging the time from abnormality to fire occurrence in the battery pack. In addition, after the discharged gas during thermal runaway of the battery pack enters the exhaust channel 3, since the external temperature of the tray body 1 is lower than the temperature in the first accommodation recess 130, the gas tends to condense in, for example, the exhaust channel 3 to produce condensed liquid and accumulate at the bottom of the exhaust channel 3. Therefore, by configuring the air inlet 310 to be higher than the air outlet 320, it is possible to prevent the condensed liquid from flowing back into the first accommodation recess 130 through the air inlet 310. Therefore, the tray assembly provided by the present disclosure can efficiently discharge high-temperature and high-pressure gas during thermal runaway of the battery pack, and is less prone to the problem of gas and / or liquid backflow, and the safety of the entire battery pack is higher.
[0046] It should be noted that, when the above tray assembly is applied to, for example, a vehicle, the height direction of the tray body 1 may also refer to the height direction of the vehicle, the length direction of the tray body 1 may also refer to the length direction of the vehicle, and the width direction of the tray body 1 may also refer to the width direction of the vehicle. The present disclosure exemplarily describes the case where the tray assembly is applied to a vehicle.
[0047] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 12, the tray body 1 may include a bottom plate 110 and a frame 120 arranged on the bottom plate 110, the bottom plate 110 and the frame 120 enclose the first accommodation recess 130 for accommodating the battery assembly 2, and the frame 120 is provided with the exhaust channel 3 and the air inlet 310 and the air outlet 320 communicated with the exhaust channel 3, so that at least part of gas in the first accommodation recess 130 can be discharged to the outside of the tray body 1 sequentially through the air inlet 310, the exhaust channel 3, and the air outlet 320. Since the second explosion-proof valve 220 on the battery assembly 2 is usually arranged on two sides of the battery assembly 2 along the width direction or length direction of the tray body 1, in the present disclosure the exhaust channel 3, the air inlet 310, and the air outlet 320 are arranges on the frame 120 located on the sides of the battery assembly 2 along the width direction and length direction of the tray body 1, which is more conducive to efficiently discharging high-temperature and high-pressure gas discharged from, for example, the second explosion-proof valve 220 of the battery assembly 2 in the first accommodation recess 130 to the outside of the tray body 1.
[0048] It should be noted that, as shown in FIG. 3, the air inlet 310 along the height direction of the tray body 1 may be, for example, a second height b of the air inlet 310 relative to the bottom plate 110 along the height direction of the tray body 1, i.e., the vertical height distance between the center point of the air inlet 310 and the bottom plate 110 as shown in FIG. 3. The air outlet 320 along the height direction of the tray body 1 may be, for example, a first height c of the air outlet 320 relative to the bottom plate 110 along the height direction of the tray body 1, i.e., the vertical height distance between the center point of the air outlet 320 and the bottom plate 110 as shown in FIG. 3.
[0049] In addition, it should be noted that after the high-temperature and high-pressure gas discharged from the second explosion-proof valve 220 of the battery assembly 2 enters the exhaust channel 3 through the air inlet 310 during thermal runaway of the battery pack, since the temperature in the first accommodation recess 130 is relatively high while the temperature outside the frame 120, i.e., outside the tray body 1, is relatively low compared with that in the first accommodation recess 130, after entering the exhaust channel 3, the high-temperature gas tends to condense at, for example, the first wall 330 of the exhaust channel 3 near the outside of the tray body 1 to produce condensed liquid, which accumulates at the bottom of the exhaust channel 3 under gravity. Therefore, by configuring the first height c of the air outlet 320 relative to the bottom plate 110 to be smaller than the second height b of the air inlet 310 communicated with the exhaust channel 3 relative to the bottom plate 110, it is advantageous to discharge the condensed liquid through the air outlet 320 and to prevent the condensed liquid from flowing back into the first accommodation recess 130 through the air inlet 310. In addition, since the internal pressure of the tray body 1 is much higher than the external pressure of the tray body 1 after thermal runaway of the battery pack, the gas can be efficiently discharged to the outside of the tray body 1 through the exhaust channel 3 under the action of pressure, which can reduce the risk of backflow of gas in the exhaust channel 3 into the first accommodation recess 130, and effectively improve the safety of the entire battery pack.
[0050] The above specific embodiments in which the exhaust channel 3, the air inlet 310, and the air outlet 320 are arranged on the frame 120 are exemplary. In other embodiments not shown, the exhaust channel 3, the air inlet 310, and the air outlet 320 may also be arranged on the bottom plate 110, or the exhaust channel 3 and the air inlet 310 may be arranged on the frame 120 while the air outlet 320 may be arranged on the bottom plate 110 and communicated with the exhaust channel 3 in the frame. The present disclosure does not specifically limit such variations, as long as the height of the air inlet 310 can be configured to be higher than the height of the air outlet 320 along the height direction of the tray body 1. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0051] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 6, the frame 120 may include two side beams 121 arranged opposite to each other along the width direction of the tray body 1, and an outer side wall of at least one of the two side beams 121 is provided with at least one air outlet 320. Since the two sides of the tray body 1 in the width direction (or the width direction of the vehicle) are protected by the vehicle frame, arranging the air outlet 320 on the side beam 121 can prevent mud and water from directly impacting the first explosion-proof valve 9 at the air outlet 320 during, for example, vehicle driving, thereby avoiding sealing failure caused by damage to the first explosion-proof valve 9. Moreover, by arranging the air outlet 320 on the side beam 121, the air outlet 320 can be kept away from electronic components and / or fuel tanks arranged adjacent to the battery pack in the length direction of the tray body 1 (which may refer to the length direction of the vehicle, or the front-rear direction of the vehicle), thereby avoiding safety hazards during exhaust, making it safer, more reliable, and simpler in structure, which is conducive to the lightweight design of the entire battery pack.
[0052] Optionally, in some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 8, the outer side walls of the two side beams 121 may be provided with the air outlets 320, and each air outlet 320 is provided with a first explosion-proof valve 9. In addition, the air outlets 320 and the first explosion-proof valves 9 on the two side beams 121 are symmetrically provided with respect to the length direction of the tray body, which is simple in structure and easy to install and manufacture.
[0053] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 7, the side beam 121 may include a plurality of first cavities 122, and at least one first cavity 122 is configured to form the exhaust channel 3, which is simple in structure and easy to install and manufacture.
[0054] As shown in FIG. 7, a plurality of first transverse reinforcing plates 10 extending along the length direction of the tray body 1 and arranged at intervals along the height direction of the tray body 1 may be arranged in the side beam 121, so as to form a plurality of first cavities 122 extending along the length direction of the tray body 1 and arranged side by side along the height direction of the tray body 1. In this way, by directly using the first transverse reinforcing plates 10 in the side beam 121 to form the exhaust channel 3, the structure is simpler and the cost is lower, while also ensuring that the entire battery pack has high structural strength.
[0055] In addition, at least one of the plurality of first cavities 122 forms the exhaust channel 3, and this exhaust channel 3 is communicated with the air inlet 310 and the air outlet 320, so that gas in the exhaust channel 3 can be rapidly discharged to the outside of the tray body 1.
[0056] It should be noted that in other embodiments not shown, a plurality of longitudinal reinforcing plates extending along the height direction of the tray body 1 may also be arranged in the side beam 121, and the longitudinal reinforcing plates are arranged at intervals along the length direction of the tray body 1, so that a plurality of first cavities 122 can also be formed in the side beam 121, and at least one of the plurality of first cavities 122 forms the exhaust channel 3, and the exhaust channel 3 is communicated with the air inlet 310 and the air outlet 320, thereby rapidly discharging the gas in the exhaust channel 3 to the outside of the tray body 1. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0057] Optionally, in some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 8, blocking plates 123 are arranged at two ends of the at least one first cavity 122 to seal the exhaust channel 3 at the two ends of the first cavity 122. For example, for the lightweight design of the entire battery pack, the blocking plates 123 may be arranged at two ends of the side beam 121, and the two blocking plates 123 are configured to close the two ends of the at least one first cavity 122 to seal the exhaust channel 3, thereby isolating the exhaust channel 3 and avoiding the risk of gas cross-flow, with a simple structure and easy installation and manufacture. It should be noted that the above blocking plates 123 are not limited to being arranged at the two ends of the side beam 121. For example, in other embodiments not shown, the blocking plates 123 may also be additionally arranged at any position between the two ends of the side beam 121 as appropriate, as long as the two ends of the first cavity 122 communicated with the first accommodation recess 130 can be closed by the blocking plates 123 to seal the exhaust channel 3 and avoid gas cross-flow. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0058] The present disclosure does not specifically limit the specific structure of the blocking plates 123 and the connection method with the side beam 121, and those skilled in the art can design them adaptively according to actual application requirements, as long as the blocking plates 123 can be stably connected to the side beam 121 while avoiding the risk of gas cross-flow.
[0059] In some embodiments, the first accommodation recess 130 may have a plurality of sub-accommodation recesses 131 that are not in communication with each other, the sub-accommodation recesses 131 are configured to accommodate the battery assembly 2, the tray body 1 is provided with a plurality of exhaust channels 3, the sub-accommodation recesses 131 are communicated with at least one exhaust channel 3 through at least one air inlet 310, and the exhaust channels 3 communicated with different sub-accommodation recesses 131 are not in communication with each other, so that each sub-accommodation recess 131 has an independent exhaust channel 3, which can not only rapidly decompose the thermal runaway energy, but also rapidly discharge the gas in the plurality of sub-accommodation recesses 131, avoid the risk of gas cross-flow, reduce the occurrence of fire in the battery pack or prolong the time from abnormality to fire occurrence in the battery pack, and is conducive to improving the safety of the entire battery pack.
[0060] It should be noted that one exhaust channel 3 may have one or more air inlets 310, the sub-accommodation recess 131 may be communicated with one first exhaust channel 3 through one or more air inlets 310, or the sub-accommodation recess 131 may be communicated with a plurality of first exhaust channels 3 through one or more air inlets 310. The present disclosure does not specifically limit such variations, as long as the plurality of sub-accommodation recesses 131 can independently exhaust and relieve pressure. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0061] In addition, in some embodiments not shown, the plurality of sub-accommodation recesses 131 that are not in communication with each other may be arranged side by side along the width direction of the tray body 1. In this way, the two sub-accommodation recesses 131 located near the two side beams 121 can perform intake and exhaust operations through the air inlets 310 and air outlets 320 of the exhaust channels 3 in the two side beams 121, while the plurality of sub-accommodation recesses 131 in the middle (if any) can perform intake and exhaust operations through the air inlets 310 and air outlets 320 of the exhaust channels 3 in the rear beam 125 that are communicated with the corresponding sub-accommodation recesses 131. In addition, it should be noted that, in order to avoid potential safety hazards associated with direct exhaust through the rear beam 125 because the rear beam 125 is close to the fuel tank, in some embodiments, a protective cover (not shown) may be arranged at the air outlet 320, and exhaust holes may be arranged on two side walls of the protective cover in the length direction of the tray body 1, so that gas in the protective cover can be discharged. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0062] The present disclosure exemplarily describes the case where two sub-accommodation recesses 131 are arranged side by side along the width direction of the tray body. In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 8, the frame 120 may include two side beams 121 arranged opposite to each other along the width direction of the tray body 1, the first accommodation recess 130 has two sub-accommodation recesses 131 arranged at intervals along the width direction of the tray body 1 and not in communication with each other, the sub-accommodation recesses 131 are configured to accommodate the battery assembly 2, the side beams 121 are provided with the exhaust channel 3 communicated with the adjacent sub-accommodation recess 131 through at least one air inlet 310, and the exhaust channels 3 communicated with different sub-accommodation recesses 131 are not in communication with each other, thereby enabling independent exhaust operations for the two sub-accommodation recesses 131 through the exhaust channels 3 in the two side beams 121, avoiding the risk of gas cross-flow. Moreover, thermal runaway in one sub-accommodation recess 131 does not affect the other sub-accommodation recess 131, the safety of the entire battery pack is higher, and the overall structure is simple, which is conducive to the lightweight design of the entire battery pack.
[0063] It should be noted that, when two sub-accommodation recesses 131 are arranged side by side along the width direction of the tray body 1, a plurality of groups of two sub-accommodation recesses 131 may be arranged side by side along the length direction of the tray body 1. In this way, by adaptively arranging the exhaust channels 3 in the two side beams 121 to be communicated with the corresponding sub-accommodation recesses 131 through at least one air inlet 310, the gas in the plurality of sub-accommodation recesses 131 can be rapidly discharged through the exhaust channels 3 in the side beams 121, avoiding the risk of gas cross-flow. Moreover, thermal runaway in one sub-accommodation recess 131 does not affect the other sub-accommodation recesses 131, and the safety of the entire battery pack is higher.
[0064] Optionally, in some embodiments, as shown in FIG. 6, the inner side wall of the side beam 121 facing the first accommodation recess 130 may be provided with a plurality of air inlets 310 arranged at intervals along the length direction of the tray body 1, so that when the battery pack undergoes thermal runaway, the gas intake efficiency is improved, and the gas in the first accommodation recess 130 can be rapidly guided into the exhaust channel 3 of the side beam 121, which can not only rapidly decompose the thermal runaway energy, but also rapidly discharge the gas in the sub-accommodation recesses 131, reduce the occurrence of fire in the battery pack or prolong the time from abnormality to fire occurrence in the battery pack, and is conducive to improving the safety of the entire battery pack.
[0065] It should be noted that the specific number of air inlets 310 is not specifically limited in the present disclosure, and those skilled in the art can design it adaptively according to actual application requirements. In addition, the specific opening sizes of the air inlets 310 and the air outlets 320 are not specifically limited in the present disclosure, and those skilled in the art can design them adaptively according to actual application requirements, as long as the entire battery pack has high structural strength and meets the corresponding exhaust efficiency requirements.
[0066] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 12, the frame 120 may further include a front beam 124 and a rear beam 125 arranged between the two side beams 121, the two side beams 121, the front beam 124, and the rear beam 125 together enclose the first accommodation recess 130, the two sub-accommodation recesses 131 include a first sub-accommodation recess 1311 and a second sub-accommodation recess 1312, and the two side beams 121 include a first side beam 1211 adjacent to the first sub-accommodation recess 1311 and a second side beam 1212 adjacent to the second sub-accommodation recess 1312, thereby enabling independent exhaust operations for the first sub-accommodation recess 1311 and the second sub-accommodation recess 1312 through the first side beam 1211 and the second side beam 1212 respectively, avoiding the risk of gas cross-flow. Moreover, thermal runaway in one sub-accommodation recess 131 does not affect the other sub-accommodation recess 131, and the safety of the entire battery pack is higher.
[0067] Optionally, in some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 4, 5, and 11, at least one of the front beam 124 and the rear beam 125 may be provided with a first intermediate transmission channel 4 and a first inlet 410 and a first outlet 420 communicated with the first intermediate transmission channel 4, the first inlet 410 and the first outlet 420 are both communicated with the first sub-accommodation recess 1311, and the first outlet 420 is closer to the first side beam 1211 than the first inlet 410. Thus, through the first intermediate transmission channel 4, the thermal runaway energy in the first sub-accommodation recess 1311 can be further decomposed. Moreover, since the first outlet 420 is closer to the first side beam 1211 than the first inlet 410, the gas in the first sub-accommodation recess 1311 can be rapidly guided into the exhaust channel 3 of the first side beam 1211 and discharged through the air outlet 320, which is conducive to improving exhaust efficiency, can reduce the occurrence of fire in the battery pack or prolong the time from abnormality to fire occurrence in the battery pack, and also is conducive to improving the safety of the entire battery pack.
[0068] In addition, at least one of the front beam 124 and the rear beam 125 may be provided with a second intermediate transmission channel 5 and a second inlet 510 and a second outlet 520 communicated with the second intermediate transmission channel 5, the second inlet 510 and the second outlet 520 are both communicated with the second sub-accommodation recess 1312, and the second outlet 520 is closer to the second side beam 1212 than the second inlet 510. Thus, through the second intermediate transmission channel 5, the thermal runaway energy in the second sub-accommodation recess 1312 can be further decomposed. Moreover, since the second outlet 520 is closer to the second side beam 1212 than the second inlet 510, the gas in the second sub-accommodation recess 1312 can be rapidly guided into the exhaust channel 3 of the second side beam 1212 and discharged through the air outlet 320, which is conducive to improving exhaust efficiency, can reduce the occurrence of fire in the battery pack or prolong the time from abnormality to fire occurrence in the battery pack, and also is conducive to improving the safety of the entire battery pack.
[0069] The above specific embodiments of the front beam 124 and the rear beam 125 are exemplary. In other embodiments not shown, at least one of the front beam 124 and the rear beam 125 may be provided with a first intermediate transmission channel 4 and the first inlet 410, the first intermediate transmission channel 4 is communicated with the first sub-accommodation recess 1311 through the first inlet 410, and the first intermediate transmission channel 4 is communicated with the exhaust channel 3 in the first side beam 1211. Thus, through the first intermediate transmission channel 4, the thermal runaway energy in the first sub-accommodation recess 1311 can be further decomposed. Moreover, gas venting holes (not shown) are arranged at, for example, the connection between the front beam 124 and the first side beam 1211, and / or the connection between the rear beam 125 and the first side beam 1211, so that the gas in the first sub-accommodation recess 1311 can be rapidly guided into the exhaust channel 3 of the first side beam 1211 and discharged through the air outlet 320, which is conducive to improving exhaust efficiency, can reduce the occurrence of fire in the battery pack or prolong the time from abnormality to fire occurrence in the battery pack, and also is conducive to improving the safety of the entire battery pack.
[0070] In addition, at least one of the front beam 124 and the rear beam 125 may be provided with a second intermediate transmission channel 5 and a second inlet 510, the second intermediate transmission channel 5 is communicated with the second sub-accommodation recess 1312 through the second inlet 510, and the second intermediate transmission channel 5 is communicated with the exhaust channel 3 in the second side beam 1212. Thus, through the second intermediate transmission channel 5, the thermal runaway energy in the second sub-accommodation recess 1312 can be further decomposed. Moreover, gas venting holes (not shown) are arranged at, for example, the connection between the front beam 124 and the second side beam 1212, and / or the connection between the rear beam 125 and the second side beam 1212, so that the gas in the second sub-accommodation recess 1312 can be rapidly guided into the exhaust channel 3 of the second side beam 1212 and discharged through the air outlet 320, which is conducive to improving exhaust efficiency, can reduce the occurrence of fire in the battery pack or prolong the time from abnormality to fire occurrence in the battery pack, and also is conducive to improving the safety of the entire battery pack. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0071] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 4, 5, 11, and 12, at least one of the front beam 124 and the rear beam 125 includes a plurality of second cavities 126 extending along the width direction of the tray body 1 and arranged side by side along the height direction of the tray body 1, the first intermediate transmission channel 4 and the second intermediate transmission channel 5 in the front beam 124 are formed by different second cavities 126 in the front beam 124, and the first intermediate transmission channel 4 and the second intermediate transmission channel 5 in the rear beam 125 are formed by different second cavities 126 in the rear beam 125. In this way, different second cavities 126 can form the first intermediate transmission channel 4 and the second transmission channel 5 that are not in communication with each other, thereby enabling independent exhaust operations for the first sub-accommodation recess 1311 and the second sub-accommodation recess 1312 through the first intermediate transmission channel 4 and the second transmission channel 5 respectively, avoiding the risk of gas cross-flow, with a simple structure and conducive to ensuring that the entire battery pack has high structural strength.
[0072] As shown in FIGS. 11 and 12, a plurality of second transverse reinforcing plates 11 extending along the width direction of the tray body 1 may be arranged in the front beam 124 and the rear beam 125, and the second transverse reinforcing plates 11 are arranged at intervals along the height direction of the tray body 1. In this way, a plurality of second cavities 126 can be formed in the front beam 124 and the rear beam 125, with a simple structure and conducive to ensuring that the entire battery pack has high structural strength.
[0073] It should be noted that in other embodiments not shown, a plurality of longitudinal reinforcing plates extending along the height direction of the tray body 1 or oblique reinforcing plates extending along the length direction of the tray body 1 may also be arranged in the front beam 124 and the rear beam 125, so as to form different second cavities 126. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0074] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 8, the two sub-accommodation recesses 131 may be separated by an intermediate beam 127 arranged in the first accommodation recess 130, the intermediate beam 127 has a first notch 1271 and a first sealing member 6 arranged at the first notch 1271, and the first sealing member 6 is configured to allow a first wiring harness connecting the two battery assemblies 2 in the two sub-accommodation recesses 131 to pass therethrough. Thus, the first sealing member 6 not only enables wiring but also ensures that the two sub-accommodation recesses 131 have high airtightness.
[0075] The first sealing member 6 may be, for example, a first plastic member filled in the first notch 1271, and the first plastic member is bonded to the first notch 1271 by, for example, glue, which is simple in structure and easy to install. In addition, the first plastic member may be provided with a through hole for the first wiring harness to pass therethrough. Furthermore, to ensure high airtightness, the gap between the first wiring harness and the through hole may be sealed with glue to ensure high airtightness. Of course, the above specific embodiment of the first sealing member 6 is exemplary, and those skilled in the art can design it adaptively according to actual application requirements, as long as the first notch 1271 can be sealed to ensure that the two sub-accommodation recesses 131 have high airtightness and allow the first wiring harness to pass therethrough. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0076] In addition, it should be noted that the present disclosure does not specifically limit the specific structure of the first wiring harness, as long as electrical connection between the two battery assemblies 2 can be achieved. Those skilled in the art can design it adaptively according to actual application requirements. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0077] Furthermore, FIG. 8 exemplarily shows that the number of the first notches 1271 is one and it is arranged at the end of the intermediate beam 127 near the rear beam 125, so that the wiring length of the first wiring harness between the two battery assemblies 2 can be effectively shortened, and space utilization is improved. Of course, the number of the first notches 1271 is not limited to the one shown in FIG. 8, and those skilled in the art can adaptively design the specific number of the first notches 1271 as needed. The present disclosure does not specifically limit this.
[0078] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 8, the frame 120 may be divided into the first accommodation recess 130 and a second accommodation recess 140 by the front beam 124, and the second accommodation recess 140 is configured to accommodate a power distribution assembly 7, the front beam 124 has a second notch 1241 and a second sealing member 8 arranged at the second notch 1241, and the second sealing member 8 is configured to allow a second wiring harness connecting the battery assembly 2 and the power distribution assembly 7 to pass therethrough. Thus, the second sealing member 8 not only enables wiring but also ensures that the first accommodation recess 130 and the second accommodation recess 140 have high airtightness.
[0079] The second sealing member 8 may be, for example, a second plastic member filled in the second notch 1241, and the second plastic member is bonded to the second notch 1241 by, for example, glue, which is simple in structure and easy to install. In addition, the second plastic member may be provided with a through hole for the second wiring harness to pass therethrough. Furthermore, to ensure high airtightness, the gap between the second wiring harness and the through hole may be sealed with glue to ensure high airtightness. Of course, the above specific embodiment of the second sealing member 8 is exemplary, and those skilled in the art can design it adaptively according to actual application requirements, as long as the second notch 1241 can be sealed to ensure that the first accommodation recess 130 and the second accommodation recess 140 have high airtightness and allow the second wiring harness to pass therethrough. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0080] In addition, it should be noted that the present disclosure does not specifically limit the specific structure of the second wiring harness, as long as electrical connection between the battery assembly 2 and the power distribution assembly 7 can be achieved. Those skilled in the art can design it adaptively according to actual application requirements. The present disclosure is not limited thereto. Furthermore, the specific structure of the power distribution assembly 7 is also not specifically limited in the present disclosure, and those skilled in the art can design it adaptively according to actual application requirements, as long as, for example, power distribution can be achieved to meet the power requirements of various load devices.
[0081] In addition, FIG. 8 exemplarily shows that the number of the second notches 1241 may be two and they are respectively arranged at the two ends of the front beam 124, so that the wiring length of the second wiring harness between the battery assembly 2 and the power distribution assembly 7 can be effectively shortened, and space utilization is improved. Of course, the number of the second notches 1241 is not limited to the two shown in FIG. 8, and those skilled in the art can design the specific number of the second notches 1241 as needed. The present disclosure does not specifically limit this.
[0082] Optionally, in some embodiments not shown, an insulation layer may be arranged on an inner wall surface of the first accommodation recess 130. For example, mica plates may be arranged on the bottom plate 110 and the inner walls of the frame 120 to form the above insulation layer, thereby reducing the risk of arcing or short-circuit points during thermal runaway of the battery pack and improving the safety of the entire battery pack. In addition, epoxy powder may also be sprayed on the bottom plate 110 and the inner walls of the frame 120, so as to further insulate the interior of the first accommodation recess 130 and further improve the safety of the entire battery pack.
[0083] The above specific embodiments of insulating the interior of the first accommodation recess 130 are exemplary, and those skilled in the art can design it adaptively according to actual application requirements. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0084] Optionally, in some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 8, the tray assembly may further include a first explosion-proof valve 9, and the first explosion-proof valve 9 is arranged at the air outlet 320. For example, during thermal runaway of the battery pack, since the pressure in the first accommodation recess 130 accommodating the battery assembly 2 is relatively high, the first explosion-proof valve 9 will automatically open under the action of pressure, thereby achieving pressure relief (exhaust operation) in the first accommodation recess 130.
[0085] The present disclosure does not limit the specific structure of the first explosion-proof valve 9, as long as it can achieve the corresponding pressure relief operation during, for example, thermal runaway of the battery pack. For example, the first explosion-proof valve 9 may be, for example, a piston-type explosion-proof valve, which can be reused and has low maintenance cost; or, the first explosion-proof valve 9 may also be a pin-type explosion-proof valve. The present disclosure does not specifically limit this.
[0086] In addition, FIG. 1 exemplarily shows that the positions of the first explosion-proof valve 9 and the air outlet 320 may be arranged on one side of the side beam 121 near the rear beam 125, so that the air outlet 320 can be better kept away from, for example, electronic devices of the vehicle, thereby further improving safety. Of course, the positions of the first explosion-proof valve 9 and the air outlet 320 are exemplary. In other embodiments, those skilled in the art can design the positions and specific number of the air outlets 320 adaptively according to actual application requirements. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0087] According to a second aspect of the present disclosure, a battery pack is also provided. The battery pack includes the above tray assembly and a battery assembly 2. The battery pack can efficiently discharge high-temperature and high-pressure gas during thermal runaway, and is less prone to the problem of gas and / or liquid backflow, and the safety of the entire battery pack is higher. In addition, the battery pack also has all the beneficial effects of the above tray assembly, which will not be repeated here.
[0088] In some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 1 to 10, the battery assembly 2 may be provided with a second explosion-proof valve 220, along the height direction of the tray body 1, the second explosion-proof valve 220 is higher than the air inlet 310, so that the second explosion-proof valve 220 does not directly face the air inlet 310, preventing the gas discharged from the second explosion-proof valve 220 or, for example, particles and organic matter entrained in the gas from blocking the air inlet 310 during thermal runaway of the battery pack, which would affect the intake effect of the exhaust channel 3, while also avoiding arcing of the gas in the exhaust channel 3, thereby further improving the safety of the entire battery pack. In addition, along the height direction of the tray body 1, configuring the second explosion-proof valve 220 to be higher than the air inlet 310 makes the overall structure more compact. For example, the height of the frame 120 can be reduced, and the dimension of the battery pack in the height direction (which may refer to the height direction of the tray body) is reduced, which is conducive to the lightweight design of the battery pack.
[0089] It should be noted that the height of the second explosion-proof valve 220 along the height direction of the tray body 1 may be, for example, a third height a of the second explosion-proof valve 220 relative to the bottom plate 110 along the height direction of the tray body 1, i.e., the vertical height distance between the center point of the second explosion-proof valve 220 and the bottom plate 110 as shown in FIG. 3.
[0090] The above embodiment in which, along the height direction of the tray body 1, the second height b of the air inlet 310 relative to the bottom plate 110 is configured to be smaller than the third height a of the second explosion-proof valve 220 relative to the bottom plate 110 is exemplary. In other embodiments not shown, the second height b of the air inlet 310 relative to the bottom plate 110 may also be configured to be greater than the third height a of the second explosion-proof valve 220 relative to the bottom plate 110. The present disclosure does not specifically limit such variations, and those skilled in the art can design it adaptively according to actual application requirements, as long as the second explosion-proof valve 220 does not directly face the air inlet 310, thereby preventing the gas discharged from the second explosion-proof valve 220 or, for example, particles and organic matter entrained in the gas from blocking the air inlet 310 during thermal runaway of the battery pack, which would affect the intake effect of the exhaust channel 3, while also avoiding arcing of the gas in the exhaust channel 3.
[0091] In addition, the present disclosure does not specifically limit the specific structure of the second explosion-proof valve 220, and those skilled in the art can design it adaptively according to actual application requirements, as long as it can achieve the corresponding pressure relief operation during, for example, thermal runaway of the battery pack. For example, the second explosion-proof valve 220 may be, for example, a piston-type explosion-proof valve, which can be reused and has low maintenance cost; or, the second explosion-proof valve 220 may also be a pin-type explosion-proof valve. The present disclosure does not specifically limit this.
[0092] Optionally, in some embodiments, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 8, the battery assembly 2 may include a plurality of battery cells 210. The length direction of the battery cells 210 is parallel to the width direction of the tray body 1. The end portions of the battery cells 210 adjacent to the frame 120 of the tray body 1 are each provided with a second explosion-proof valve 220, and the inner side wall of the frame 120 adjacent to the end portions is provided with the air inlet 310, which improves intake and exhaust efficiency, reduces the occurrence of fire in the battery pack or prolongs the time from abnormality to fire occurrence in the battery pack, and is conducive to improving the safety of the entire battery pack.
[0093] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, both end portions of each battery cell 210 of the battery assembly 2 along the length direction may be provided with second explosion-proof valves 220. As indicated by the gas flow direction (arrow direction) in FIG. 8, the present disclosure exemplarily describes the pressure relief process of the battery pack, as follows:
[0094] For example, during thermal runaway of the battery pack, the battery cells 210 can relieve pressure through the second explosion-proof valves 220 on both sides. Gas at the second explosion-proof valves 220 of the battery cells 210 adjacent to the two side beams 121 of the frame 120 can directly enter the exhaust channels 3 of the two side beams 121 through the air inlets 310 and be relieved through the first explosion-proof valves 9 at the air outlets 320 of the exhaust channels 3, thereby discharging the gas to the outside of the tray body. Gas at the second explosion-proof valves 220 of the battery cells 210 adjacent to the intermediate beam 127 of the frame 120 can, for example, first enter the intermediate transmission channels through the inlets on the front beam 124 and / or the rear beam 125, then be discharged into the exhaust channels 3 of the two side beams 121 through the outlets of the intermediate transmission channels, and finally be relieved through the first explosion-proof valves 9 at the air outlets 320 of the exhaust channels 3.
[0095] It should be noted that, during thermal runaway of the battery pack, the internal pressure of the battery pack is relatively high, i.e., higher than the atmospheric pressure outside the battery pack, when the explosion-proof valves are performing pressure relief, the gas inside each battery cell 210, in the first accommodation recess 130, and in each chamber can be rapidly discharged through the explosion-proof valves to achieve corresponding pressure relief.
[0096] According to a third aspect of the present disclosure, an electric device is also provided. The electric device includes the above battery pack. The electric device can efficiently discharge high-temperature and high-pressure gas during thermal runaway of the battery pack, and is less prone to the problem of gas and / or liquid backflow, and the safety of the entire battery pack is higher. In addition, the electric device also has all the beneficial effects of the above battery pack, which will not be repeated here.
[0097] It should be noted that the above electric device may be a vehicle, which may be a fuel vehicle, a gas vehicle, or a new energy vehicle. The new energy vehicle may be a pure electric vehicle, a hybrid electric vehicle, or an extended-range electric vehicle, etc. Of course, in other embodiments, the above electric device may also be a portable device, a laptop computer, a ship, a spacecraft, an electric toy, and an electric tool, etc. The spacecraft may include airplanes, rockets, space shuttles, and spaceships, etc. The electric toys may include fixed or mobile electric toys, such as game consoles, electric vehicle toys, electric ship toys, and electric airplane toys, etc. The electric tools may include metal-cutting electric tools, grinding electric tools, assembly electric tools, and electric tools for railways, such as electric drills, electric grinders, electric wrenches, electric screwdrivers, electric hammers, impact drills, concrete vibrators, and electric planers, etc. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0098] The preferred embodiments of the present disclosure have been described in detail above with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, the present disclosure is not limited to the specific details of the above embodiments. Within the technical concept of the present disclosure, various simple modifications can be made to the technical solutions of the present disclosure, and these simple modifications all fall within the protection scope of the present disclosure.
[0099] In addition, it should be noted that the various specific technical features described in the above specific embodiments may be combined in any suitable manner without contradiction. To avoid unnecessary repetition, the present disclosure will not separately describe various possible combinations.
[0100] Furthermore, various different embodiments of the present disclosure may also be combined arbitrarily, as long as they do not violate the concept of the present disclosure, and such combinations should also be regarded as the content disclosed by the present disclosure.
