Claims

1. A bi-directional swing pile adapter comprising:a first ring;a first support arm;a second support arm;a first swivel connector to operatively connect said first ring to said first support arm in a swivel manner;a second swivel connector to operatively connect said first ring to said second support arm in a swivel manner;a pile coupling member to enable coupling to a pile;a third swivel connector to operatively connect said first ring to said pile coupling member in a swivel manner; anda fourth swivel connector to operatively connect said first ring to said pile coupling member in a swivel manner.

2. The bi-directional swing pile adapter, as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a cross support bar operatively connected to said first support arm and said second support arm.

3. The bi-directional swing pile adapter, as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a driver attachment member for coupling a pile to a pile driver.

4. The bi-directional swing pile adapter, as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, wherein said first swivel connector and said second swivel connector provide a swing equal to or greater than 40°.

5. The bi-directional swing pile adapter, as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, wherein said third swivel connector and said fourth swivel connector provide a swing equal to or greater than 20°.

6. The bi-directional swing pile adapter, as claimed in claim 5, wherein the swing provided by said first swivel connector and said second swivel connector is orthogonal to the swing provided by said third swivel connector and said fourth swivel connector.
