AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Conventional resealable food storage containers are inconvenient to operate due to the risk of finger pinching during lid closure and require manual operation of sealing members for opening, which can lead to component breakage and limited usability.

Method used

A resealable food storage container with a cover mechanism featuring a lift operating member that pivots about a pivot axis, allowing single-handed operation for easy opening and closure, and incorporates a check valve system to maintain airtight sealing and prevent hand pinching.

Benefits of technology

The solution enables convenient single-handed operation, reduces component wear, and allows for easy ventilation during heating, while maintaining airtight sealing to preserve food freshness.

Abstract

RESEALABLE FOOD STORAGE CONTAINER AND COVER MECHANISM THEREOF A resealable food storage container includes a container body (1), a cover body (21) 5 attached to the container body (1), and a lift operating member (3) pivotably disposed on the cover unit (20). The cover body (21) defines an operating space (210) opened upwardly and recessed in an upper wall (211), and a lateral hole (212a) formed through an outer peripheral wall (212) to be in communication with the operating space and below the upper wall (211). The lift operating member has operating and abutting portions (31, 10 32). The abutting portion (31) is disposed in the lateral hole (212a). The lift operating member is operably shiftable between a closed position and an opened position. During rotation to the opened position, the abutting portion (31) abuts downwardly against the container body (1) to turn and lift the lift operating member upwardly. A user's hand is prevented from being pinched during operation. 15 (FIG. 1) 20 25 24 86 55 08 O ct 2 02 5 A B S T R A C T 2 0 2 5 2 4 8 6 5 5 0 8 O c t 2 0 2 5 R E S E A L A B L E F O O D S T O R A G E C O N T A I N E R A N D C O V E R M E C H A N I S M T H E R E O F 5 1 0 1 5 31 '33 o M 30 20 215 \ 23 32 211 335 30 214 214a 21 s 213 216 215a 210 215b 212a 217 214a 22 11 1 FIG. 1 1 / 10 I FIG.
