Abstract A load-bearing device (3) for supporting a cladding structure (8), in particular a masonry structure, against a load-bearing structure (2), in particular against a structural frame of a construction, comprises a main body (10), a fixing device (6) for fixing the main body (10) to the load-bearing structure (2), and a load-bearing part (4) arranged on the main body (10) for supporting the cladding structure (8). The main body (10) comprises two identical, flat lateral plates (11, 12) arranged a distance (a) apart from one another. These lateral plates (11, 12) are connected to one another by a plurality of identical, flat connecting plates (13). The connecting plates (13) extend perpendicular to the lateral plates (11, 12).
